І сталася трыццатага году, чацьвертага месяца, пятага дня месяца, як я быў меж палоненікаў ля ракі Хевар, што адчыніліся нябёсы, і я бачыў Божыя відзені.

On July 31a of my thirtieth year,b while I was with the Judean exiles beside the Kebar River in Babylon, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.

Пятага дня месяца, каторы пятага году палону караля Егояхіна,

This happened during the fifth year of King Jehoiachin’s captivity.

Выразьліва было слова СПАДАРОВА Езэкіелю Вузянку, сьвятару, у зямлі Хальдэйскай, ля ракі Хевар, і рука СПАДАРОВА была там на ім.

(The LORD gave this message to Ezekiel son of Buzi, a priest, beside the Kebar River in the land of the Babylonians,c and he felt the hand of the LORD take hold of him.)

І бачыў я, і вось, буйны вецер веяў з поўначы, вялікі булак, і падаючы агонь ізь зіхценьням навокал яго, а ізь сярэдзіны яго штось бліскала, як бліскучы бруштын, ізь сярэдзіны цяпла.

As I looked, I saw a great storm coming from the north, driving before it a huge cloud that flashed with lightning and shone with brilliant light. There was fire inside the cloud, and in the middle of the fire glowed something like gleaming amber.d

Таксама ізь сярэдзіны яго вышла падобнасьць чатырох жывых стварэньняў, і такі быў выгляд іх: падобнасьць людзіны ў іх;

From the center of the cloud came four living beings that looked human,

і ў кажнага зь іх чатыры крылы;

except that each had four faces and four wings.

І ногі іхныя — простыя ногі, і ступы ног іхных — як ступы нагі цяляці, і блішчэлі, як бліск паліраванае бронзы;

Their legs were straight, and their feet had hooves like those of a calf and shone like burnished bronze.

І рукі людзкія пад крыламі на чатырох старанах іхных, чатыры віды а чатыры крылы ў вусіх чатырох;

Under each of their four wings I could see human hands. So each of the four beings had four faces and four wings.

Крылы іхныя датыкакаліся адно да аднаго; яны не абарачаліся, як яны йшлі; ішлі кажны проста наперад.

The wings of each living being touched the wings of the beings beside it. Each one moved straight forward in any direction without turning around.

Што да падобнасьці відаў іхных, то від чалавека й морда лява з права ў вусіх чатырох; і пыск вала зь лева ў вусіх чатырох; і ґлюґа арла таксама ў вусіх чатырох.

Each had a human face in the front, the face of a lion on the right side, the face of an ox on the left side, and the face of an eagle at the back.

Гэткія былі віды іхныя. І віды іхныя, і крылы іхныя выцягненыя ўгару, два кажнага датыкаліся адно да аднаго, а два пакрывалі целы іхныя.

Each had two pairs of outstretched wings — one pair stretched out to touch the wings of the living beings on either side of it, and the other pair covered its body.

І йшлі кажны проста наперад; куды дух меў ісьці, туды яны йшлі; ідучы не абарачаліся.

They went in whatever direction the spirit chose, and they moved straight forward in any direction without turning around.

Што да падобнасьці жывых стварэньняў, то выгляд іх як жарыны, як выгляд палаючых сьветачаў, што хадзілі памеж жывых стварэньняў; цяпло блішчэла, і зь цяпла выходзіла маланка.

The living beings looked like bright coals of fire or brilliant torches, and lightning seemed to flash back and forth among them.

І жывыя стварэньні беглі й зварачаліся, як выгляд бліску маланкі.

And the living beings darted to and fro like flashes of lightning.

І як я глядзеў на жывыя стварэньне абачыў адно кола на зямлі каля жывых стварэньняў у чатырох выглядаў іх.

As I looked at these beings, I saw four wheels touching the ground beside them, one wheel belonging to each.

Што да выгляду колаў, то падобныя да колеру бэрылу, і падобнасьць адна ў вусіх чатырох; і выгляд іх і выраб іх, быццам было кола ў сярэдзіне кола.

The wheels sparkled as if made of beryl. All four wheels looked alike and were made the same; each wheel had a second wheel turning crosswise within it.

Як яны йшлі, яны хадзілі на чатыры стараны свае; як яны йшлі, яны не абарачаліся.

The beings could move in any of the four directions they faced, without turning as they moved.

Што да абадоў, то яны былі такія высокія, што былі страшныя; і ў вусіх чатырох абадоў было поўна ачоў навокал.

The rims of the four wheels were tall and frightening, and they were covered with eyes all around.

І як ішлі жывыя стварэньне ішлі й колы ля іх; і як падыймаліся ізь зямлі жывыя стварэньні, падыймаліся й колы.

When the living beings moved, the wheels moved with them. When they flew upward, the wheels went up, too.

Куды духу надабе было йсьці, яны йшлі туды; і колы падыймаліся побач іх, бо дух жывых стварэньняў быў у колах.

The spirit of the living beings was in the wheels. So wherever the spirit went, the wheels and the living beings also went.

Як ішлі гэныя, ішлі гэтыя; і як гэныя стаялі, стаялі гэтыя; і як гэныя падыймаліся ізь зямлі, колы падыймаліся побач іх, бо дух жывых стварэньняў быў у колах.

When the beings moved, the wheels moved. When the beings stopped, the wheels stopped. When the beings flew upward, the wheels rose up, for the spirit of the living beings was in the wheels.

І падобнасьць над галавамі жывых стварэньняў — прасьцяг, як падобнасьць зумяваючага крышталю, прасьцягненага зьверху над галавамі ў іх.

Spread out above them was a surface like the sky, glittering like crystal.

І пад прасьцягам былі крылы іхныя, проста адно ля аднаго; у кажнага два — пакрыцьце ім на целы іхныя.

Beneath this surface the wings of each living being stretched out to touch the others’ wings, and each had two wings covering its body.

І як яны йшлі, чуў шум крылаў іхных, як шум вялікіх водаў, як голас Усемагучага, гом сумятні, гоман табару; як яны адзержаваліся — апушчалі крылы свае.

As they flew, their wings sounded to me like waves crashing against the shore or like the voice of the Almightye or like the shouting of a mighty army. When they stopped, they let down their wings.

І быў голас зьверху прасьцягу, каторы над галавамі іхнымі; як яны адзержаваліся, апушчалі крылы свае.

As they stood with wings lowered, a voice spoke from beyond the crystal surface above them.

І над прасьцягам, што над галавамі іхнымі, быў выгляд шафіру, падобнасьць пасаду; і на падобнасьці пасаду падобнасьць выгляду чалавека, зьверху над ім.

Above this surface was something that looked like a throne made of blue lapis lazuli. And on this throne high above was a figure whose appearance resembled a man.

І я бачыў падобнасьць бруштыну, як выгляд цяпла навокал яго ў ім, ад выгляду сьцёгнаў ягоных угару; і ад выгляду сьцёгнаў ягоных далоў я бачыў быццам выгляд цяпла, і было зьзяньне навокал яго.

From what appeared to be his waist up, he looked like gleaming amber, flickering like a fire. And from his waist down, he looked like a burning flame, shining with splendor.

Як выгляд вясёлкі, што ў булаку ў дзень дажджу, такі быў выгляд зьзяньня навокал. Гэта быў выгляд падобнасьці сьці СПАДАРОВАЕ. І як я абачыў, паў на від і чуў голас гукаючага,

All around him was a glowing halo, like a rainbow shining in the clouds on a rainy day. This is what the glory of the LORD looked like to me. When I saw it, I fell face down on the ground, and I heard someone’s voice speaking to me.
