Наконец, братья, радуйтесь в Господе! Мне нетрудно писать об этом еще и еще раз, потому что для вас так будет надёжнее.

Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

Берегитесь этих псов — людей, делающих зло, берегитесь проповедующих членовредительство.

Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

Истинно обрезанные — это мы с вами, кто поклоняется в Духе Божьем, хвалится Христом Иисусом и не полагается на знаки, наносимые на тело.

For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Кстати, у меня оснований полагаться на подобные ритуалы больше, чем у кого-либо.

Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

Я был обрезан на восьмой день от рождения, происхожу из израильского народа, из племени Вениамина. Я еврей из евреев и, говоря об исполнении закона, я фарисей.

Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

Я ревностно преследовал Церковь и, если говорить с точки зрения законнической праведности, я беспорочен.

Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

Но все, что я считал преимуществом тогда, сейчас ради Христа считаю помехой.

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

И не только это, но и все прочее я считаю помехой в сравнении с бесценным познанием моего Господа Христа Иисуса! Ради Него все остальное в мире потеряло для меня свою ценность, и все я отбросил прочь ради приобретения Христа,

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

ради того, чтобы быть с Ним и не иметь уже своей праведности по закону, но иметь праведность, которую человек получает от Христа, праведность, которая приходит от Бога по вере.

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Я хочу познать Христа и ту силу, что воскресила Его, я хочу разделить с Ним Его страдания и стать как Он в Его смерти.

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Тогда, может быть, я достигну и воскресения из мертвых.

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Не то, чтобы я уже приобрел это или уже стал совершенным, но я стараюсь приобрести, потому что меня приобрел Христос.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Братья, я не считаю, что я уже достиг этого, а лишь забывая все, что осталось позади, иду к тому, что впереди.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Я иду к цели, чтобы получить награду высшего Божьего звания во Христе Иисусе.

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Нам всем, духовно зрелым людям, следовало бы так смотреть на вещи. Если вы в чем-то мыслите иначе, то и это Бог вам откроет.

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Но давайте будем держаться того, чего мы уже достигли.

Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

Подражайте мне, братья, и возьмите за образец тех, кто уже следует примеру, который вы имеете в нас.

Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

Потому что многие, о которых я вам говорил раньше и сейчас говорю со слезами на глазах, живут как враги Христова креста.

(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Они стоят на пути погибели, их бог — это их желудок, и то, чем они хвалятся, позорит их; их мысли направлены на земное.

Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Наша же родина на небесах, и оттуда мы ожидаем Спасителя Иисуса Христа.

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Ему дана сила покорить себе все, и действием этой силы Он изменит наши униженные тела так, что они будут подобны Его славному телу.

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
