Кніга радаводу Іісуса Хрыста, Сына Давідавага, Сына Аўраа́мавага.

This is a record of the ancestors of Jesus the Messiah, a descendant of David and of Abrahama:

Аўраа́м нарадзíў Ісаа́ка; Ісаа́к нарадзíў Іа́кава; Іа́каў нарадзíў Іу́ду і братоў яго;

Abraham was the father of Isaac. Isaac was the father of Jacob. Jacob was the father of Judah and his brothers.

Іу́да нарадзíў Фарэ́са і За́ру ад Фама́ры; Фарэ́с нарадзíў Есро́ма; Есро́м нарадзíў Ара́ма;

Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah (whose mother was Tamar). Perez was the father of Hezron. Hezron was the father of Ram.b

Ара́м нарадзíў Амінада́ва; Амінада́ў нарадзíў Наасо́на; Наасо́н нарадзíў Салмо́на;

Ram was the father of Amminadab. Amminadab was the father of Nahshon. Nahshon was the father of Salmon.

Салмо́н нарадзíў Вао́за ад Раха́вы; Вао́з нарадзíў Авíда ад Ру́фі; Авíд нарадзíў Іесе́я;

Salmon was the father of Boaz (whose mother was Rahab). Boaz was the father of Obed (whose mother was Ruth). Obed was the father of Jesse.

Іесе́й нарадзíў Давіда цара; Давід цар нарадзíў Саламо́на ад былой жонкі Уры́евай;

Jesse was the father of King David. David was the father of Solomon (whose mother was Bathsheba, the widow of Uriah).

Саламо́н нарадзíў Раваа́ма; Раваа́м нарадзíў Авíю; Авíя нарадзíў А́су;

Solomon was the father of Rehoboam. Rehoboam was the father of Abijah. Abijah was the father of Asa.c

А́са нарадзíў Іасафа́та; Іасафа́т нарадзíў Іара́ма; Іара́м нарадзíў Азíю;

Asa was the father of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat was the father of Jehoram.d Jehoram was the fathere of Uzziah.

Азíя нарадзíў Іаафа́ма; Іаафа́м нарадзíў Аха́за; Аха́з нарадзíў Езекíю;

Uzziah was the father of Jotham. Jotham was the father of Ahaz. Ahaz was the father of Hezekiah.

Езекíя нарадзíў Манасíю; Манасíя нарадзíў Амо́на; Амо́н нарадзíў Іасíю;

Hezekiah was the father of Manasseh. Manasseh was the father of Amon.f Amon was the father of Josiah.

Іасíя нарадзíў Іаакíма; Іаакíм нарадзíў Іеханíю і братоў яго, падчас перасялення вавілонскага.

Josiah was the father of Jehoiaching and his brothers (born at the time of the exile to Babylon).

Пасля ж перасялення вавілонскага Іеханíя нарадзíў Салафіíля; Салафіíль нарадзíў Зарава́веля;

After the Babylonian exile: Jehoiachin was the father of Shealtiel. Shealtiel was the father of Zerubbabel.

Зарава́вель нарадзíў Авіу́да; Авіу́д нарадзíў Еліакíма; Еліакíм нарадзíў Азо́ра;

Zerubbabel was the father of Abiud. Abiud was the father of Eliakim. Eliakim was the father of Azor.

Азо́р нарадзíў Садо́ка; Садо́к нарадзíў Ахíма; Ахíм нарадзíў Еліу́да;

Azor was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Akim. Akim was the father of Eliud.

Еліу́д нарадзíў Елеаза́ра; Елеаза́р нарадзíў Матфа́на; Матфа́н нарадзíў Іа́кава;

Eliud was the father of Eleazar. Eleazar was the father of Matthan. Matthan was the father of Jacob.

Іа́каў нарадзíў Іо́сіфа, мужа Марыі, ад Якой нарадзíўся Іісус, Якога называюць Хрыстос.

Jacob was the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary. Mary gave birth to Jesus, who is called the Messiah.

І вось, усіх пакале́нняў ад Аўраа́ма да Давіда чатырна́ццаць пакале́нняў; і ад Давіда да перасяле́ння вавілонскага чатырна́ццаць пакале́нняў; і ад перасяле́ння вавілонскага да Хрыста чатырна́ццаць пакале́нняў.

All those listed above include fourteen generations from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the Babylonian exile, and fourteen from the Babylonian exile to the Messiah.

Нараджэ́нне Іісуса Хрыста было́ так: пасля́ зару́чын Маці Яго Марыі з Іосіфам, перш чым сышлíся яны, вы́явілася, што Яна ма́е ва ўло́нні ад Духа Святога.

This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.

А Іосіф, муж Яе, бу́дучы праведным і не жада́ючы знясла́віць Яе, хацеў упо́тай адпусцíць Яе.

Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagementh quietly.

Калі ж задумаў ён гэта, — вось, Ангел Гасподні ў сне явíўся яму і сказаў: Іосіфе, сыне Давідаў! не бойся прыня́ць Марыю, жонку тваю; бо заро́джанае ў Ёй ёсць ад Духа Святога.

As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.

І наро́дзіць Сына, і дасí Яму імя́: Іісус; бо Ён зба́віць людзей Сваіх ад грахоў іх.

And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus,i for he will save his people from their sins.”

А ўсё гэта ста́лася, каб збыло́ся ска́занае Госпадам праз прарока, які кажа:

All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet:

«Вось, Дзева ва ўло́нні зачне́ і наро́дзіць Сына, і даду́ць Яму імя́: Эману́іл, што азнача́е: з намі Бог».

“Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel,j which means ‘God is with us.’”

Уста́ўшы ад сну, Іосіф зрабіў, як загада́ў яму Ангел Гасподні, і прыня́ў жонку сваю,

When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife.

і не знаў Яе, пакуль нарадзіла Сына Свайго першароднага, і ён даў Яму імя́: Іісус.

But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.
