Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets,

Бог, Які шмат разоў і многімі спосабамі здаўна гаварыў да ба́цькаў (нашых) праз прарокаў,

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

у апошнія гэтыя дні Ён прамовіў да нас у Сыне, Якога паставіў спадкаемцам усяго, празь Якога і вякі стварыў.

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Ён, будучы зьзяньнем Славы і адзінствам прыроды Ягонай, творачы ўсё Словам Сілы Сваёй, зьдзейсьніўшы Сабою ачышчэньне нашых грахоў, сеў праваруч Ве́лічы на вышынях.

having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

Наколькі Ягоная прырода была пераўзыходзячай над прыродай Ангелаў, настолькі пераўзыходзячае перад імі Імя Ён успадкаваў.

For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”? Or again, “I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son”?

Бо каму з Ангелаў Ён калі-небудзь сказаў?: «Ты Сын Мой, Я сягоньня спарадзіў Цябе». І яшчэ: «Я буду Яму Ба́цькам, а Ён будзе Мне Сынам».

And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”

І ізноў: калі Ён уводзіць Першароднага ў сусьвет, кажа: «І хай паклоняцца Яму ўсе Ангелы Бога».

Of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.”

А пра Ангелаў (аўтар Псальма 104) кажа: «Які (Ягова) робіць духаў Ангеламі Сваімі, і служак — Сваім агнявым полымям».

But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.

А пра Самога Сына: «Пасад Твой, Бог, навек вечнасьці; жазло Валадарства Твайго — жазло праўды».

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.”

«Ты ўзьлюбіў праведнасьць і зьнянавідзіў бяззаконьне; таму памазаў Цябе, Бог, Бог Твой алеем радасьці больш за супольнікаў Тваіх».

And, “You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands;

І: «Ты напачатку, о Госпадзе, заснаваў зямлю, і Нябёсы ёсьць справа Рук Тваіх;

they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment,

яны загінуць, а Ты прабываеш (у вяках вякоў); і ўсе яны, як вопратка састарэюць,

like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed.a But you are the same, and your years will have no end.”

і, як вопратку, Ты скруціш іх, і будуць пераме́нены; а Ты Той Самы, і гады Твае ня скончацца».

And to which of the angels has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

І да каго з Ангелаў Ён калі-небудзь сказаў?: «сядзі праваруч Мяне, пакуль ні пакладу ворагаў Тваіх падножжам Ног Тваіх».

Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?

Ці ня ўсе яны службовыя духі, пасыланыя на служэньне дзеля тых, якія маюць спадкаваць збаўленьне?
