Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

Аллилуйя! Пойте ГОСПОДУ новую песнь, хвалу Ему пойте в собрании слуг Его верных!

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

Пусть возрадуется Израиль Создателю своему и восторгаются сыны Сиона Царем своим!

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

Пусть водят они хороводы во славу имени Его и поют Ему, играя на тимпанах и лирах!

For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Ибо ГОСПОДЬ благоволит к народу Своему, венчает смиренных спасеньем.

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

И верные слуги Его пусть ликуют в своем торжестве, пусть даже на ложах своих восклицают!

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

Да славят Господа они во всю силу голоса своего, и меч обоюдоострый да будет в руках их,

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

чтобы воздать должное племенам, наказать народы,

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

заковать царей их в цепи и вельмож их — в кандалы железные,

To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

дабы совершить над ними суд, как о том давно уже написано, — это честь для всех верных слуг Его. Аллилуйя!
