Прошла суббота. На рассвете первого дня недели Мария Магдалина и другая Мария пришли посмотреть гробницу,

Early on Sunday morning,a as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb.

и случилось тогда сильное землетрясение, ибо ангел Господний спустился с небес, подошёл к гробнице, откатил камень от входа и сел на него.

Suddenly there was a great earthquake! For an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it.

Вокруг него было сияние, подобное молнии, и одежды его были белоснежные.

His face shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow.

Стражники затряслись от страха перед ним и мертвецам уподобились.

The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint.

И тогда ангел сказал женщинам: "Не бойтесь. Знаю, что ищете Иисуса, Который был распят.

Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

Его здесь нет, ибо Он воскрес, как и сказал. Пойдите, взгляните на место, где было Его Тело.

He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.

И пойдите скорее, расскажите Его ученикам, что Он воскрес из мёртвых. Он будет в Галилее раньше вас; там увидите Его. Таково моё слово к вам".

And now, go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and he is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there. Remember what I have told you.”

Поспешно выйдя из гробницы, они со страхом и великой радостью побежали рассказать обо всём Его ученикам.

The women ran quickly from the tomb. They were very frightened but also filled with great joy, and they rushed to give the disciples the angel’s message.

И вдруг на дороге их встречает Иисус и говорит: "Привет вам". И они подошли и, обхватив Его ноги, поклонились Ему.

And as they went, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they ran to him, grasped his feet, and worshiped him.

И сказал им Иисус: "Не бойтесь. Пойдите и скажите братьям Моим, чтобы отправлялись в Галилею, там они увидят Меня".

Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid! Go tell my brothers to leave for Galilee, and they will see me there.”

В то время как женщины пошли к ученикам, несколько солдат из стражи пришли в город и рассказали первосвященникам обо всём, что произошло.

As the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and told the leading priests what had happened.

Первосвященники посовещались со старейшинами и после этого дали солдатам много денег,

A meeting with the elders was called, and they decided to give the soldiers a large bribe.

сказав: "Вы должны говорить всем: "Ночью пришли Его ученики и украли Тело Его, пока мы спали".

They told the soldiers, “You must say, ‘Jesus’ disciples came during the night while we were sleeping, and they stole his body.’

Если же это дойдёт до правителя, то мы с ним договоримся, и у вас не будет неприятностей".

If the governor hears about it, we’ll stand up for you so you won’t get in trouble.”

Они взяли деньги и сказали, что им велено было, и эта весть разнеслась между иудеями, и так и осталось всё по сей день.

So the guards accepted the bribe and said what they were told to say. Their story spread widely among the Jews, and they still tell it today.

Но одиннадцать учеников ушли в Галилею, на ту гору, про которую говорил Иисус.

Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.

И когда они увидели Его, то поклонились Ему, но некоторые засомневались.

When they saw him, they worshiped him — but some of them doubted!

И подошёл Иисус и заговорил с ними: "Мне отдана вся власть на небе и на земле.

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.

А потому идите и обращайте все народы, крестя во имя Отца и Сына и Святого Духа

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,b baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

и учите их соблюдать всё, что Я заповедал вам, и буду Я с вами всегда, до скончания века".

Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
