После субботы, на рассвете первого дня недели, Мария Магдалина и другая Мария пошли посмотреть на могилу.

Early on Sunday morning,a as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb.

Вдруг произошло сильное землетрясение, потому что с неба спустился ангел Господа, который, подойдя к гробнице, отвалил камень и теперь сидел на нем.

Suddenly there was a great earthquake! For an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it.

Своим видом он был как молния, а его одежда была белой, как снег.

His face shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow.

Стражники настолько испугались его, что задрожали и стали как мертвые.

The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint.

Aнгел сказал женщинам: — Не бойтесь, я знаю, что вы ищете распятого Иисуса.

Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

Его здесь нет, Он воскрес, как и говорил ранее. Подойдите и посмотрите на место, где Он лежал,

He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.

а потом идите скорее к Его ученикам и скажите им, что Он воскрес из мертвых и отправился вперед вас в Галилею, там вы Его и увидите. Вот что я должен был вам сказать.

And now, go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and he is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there. Remember what I have told you.”

Женщины ушли от могилы испуганные, но в то же время очень обрадованные. Они побежали, чтобы поскорее рассказать обо всем ученикам Иисуса.

The women ran quickly from the tomb. They were very frightened but also filled with great joy, and they rushed to give the disciples the angel’s message.

Вдруг их встретил сам Иисус. — Здравствуйте, — сказал Он. Они подошли, обняли Его ноги и поклонились Ему.

And as they went, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they ran to him, grasped his feet, and worshiped him.

Тогда Иисус сказал им: — Не бойтесь. Идите и скажите Моим братьям, чтобы они шли в Галилею, там они Меня и увидят.

Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid! Go tell my brothers to leave for Galilee, and they will see me there.”

Женщины еще были в пути, когда несколько человек из стражи пришли в город и рассказали обо всем первосвященникам.

As the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and told the leading priests what had happened.

Первосвященники посовещались со старейшинами и разработали план. Они дали солдатам много денег

A meeting with the elders was called, and they decided to give the soldiers a large bribe.

и сказали: — Говорите всем так: "Его ученики пришли ночью и выкрали тело, пока мы спали".

They told the soldiers, “You must say, ‘Jesus’ disciples came during the night while we were sleeping, and they stole his body.’

Если это дойдет до правителя, мы с ним поговорим, и вам ничего не будет, не беспокойтесь.

If the governor hears about it, we’ll stand up for you so you won’t get in trouble.”

Солдаты взяли деньги и сделали так, как их научили. И эта выдумка распространена среди иудеев и по сегодняшний день.

So the guards accepted the bribe and said what they were told to say. Their story spread widely among the Jews, and they still tell it today.

А одиннадцать учеников пошли в Галилею, на гору, куда Иисус велел им прийти.

Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.

Там они увидели Иисуса и поклонились Ему, однако некоторые не поверили, что это Он.

When they saw him, they worshiped him — but some of them doubted!

Тогда Иисус сказал им: — Мне дана вся власть на небе и на земле.

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.

Поэтому пойдите ко всем народам и сделайте их Моими учениками: крестите их во имя Отца, Сына и Святого Духа и

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,b baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

учите их исполнять все, что Я вам заповедал, а Я буду с вами все время до конца века.

Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
