Вот начало Радостной вести об Иисусе Христе, Божьем Сыне.

This is the Good News about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God.a It began

Согласно тому, что написано у пророка Исайи: "Вот, Я посылаю перед Тобой Моего вестника, который приготовит Тебе путь.

just as the prophet Isaiah had written: “Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, and he will prepare your way.b

Голос раздается в пустыне: приготовьте путь Господу! Сделайте прямыми Его тропы!", —

He is a voice shouting in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the LORD’s coming! Clear the road for him!’c”

в пустыне появился Иоанн Креститель и проповедовал крещение в знак покаяния для прощения грехов.

This messenger was John the Baptist. He was in the wilderness and preached that people should be baptized to show that they had repented of their sins and turned to God to be forgiven.

К нему шли люди со всей Иудеи и все жители Иерусалима. Они исповедовали свои грехи, и Иоанн крестил их в реке Иордан.

All of Judea, including all the people of Jerusalem, went out to see and hear John. And when they confessed their sins, he baptized them in the Jordan River.

Иоанн носил одежду из верблюжьей шерсти и кожаный пояс, а ел он саранчу и мед диких пчел.

His clothes were woven from coarse camel hair, and he wore a leather belt around his waist. For food he ate locusts and wild honey.

В своей проповеди он говорил: — За мной придет тот, кто сильнее меня. Я даже не достоин, нагнувшись, развязать ремни Его сандалий.

John announced: “Someone is coming soon who is greater than I am — so much greater that I’m not even worthy to stoop down like a slave and untie the straps of his sandals.

Я крестил вас водой, а Он будет крестить вас Святым Духом.

I baptize you withd water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit!”

В то время из галилейского города Назарета пришел Иисус, и тоже был крещен Иоанном в Иордане.

One day Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee, and John baptized him in the Jordan River.

И в тот самый момент, когда Иисус выходил из воды, Он увидел перед собой раскрывшиеся небеса и Духа, сходящего на Него в виде голубя.

As Jesus came up out of the water, he saw the heavens splitting apart and the Holy Spirit descending on hime like a dove.

С небес раздался голос: — Ты Мой любимый Сын, в Тебе исполнение Моей доброй воли!

And a voice from heaven said, “You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy.”

Сразу после крещения Дух повел Иисуса в пустыню.

The Spirit then compelled Jesus to go into the wilderness,

Он находился в пустыне сорок дней, и сатана искушал Его. Иисус был там один, в окружении диких зверей, и ангелы служили Ему.

where he was tempted by Satan for forty days. He was out among the wild animals, and angels took care of him.

После того, как Иоанн был арестован, Иисус пошел в Галилею, проповедуя Радостную весть от Бога.

Later on, after John was arrested, Jesus went into Galilee, where he preached God’s Good News.f

— Настало время, — говорил Он, — Божье Царство уже близко! Покайтесь и верьте Радостной вести!

“The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!”

Однажды, проходя по берегу Галилейского моря, Иисус увидел двух рыбаков: Симона и его брата Aндрея, забрасывавших в море сети.

One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simong and his brother Andrew throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living.

— Идите за Мной, — сказал им Иисус, — Я сделаю вас ловцами людей.

Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”

Братья немедленно оставили сети и пошли за Ним.

And they left their nets at once and followed him.

Пройдя немного дальше, Он увидел Иакова и Иоанна, сыновей Зеведея, они сидели в лодке и чинили сети.

A little farther up the shore Jesus saw Zebedee’s sons, James and John, in a boat repairing their nets.

Иисус сразу же позвал и их, и они, оставив в лодке своего отца Зеведея и наемных работников, пошли за Иисусом.

He called them at once, and they also followed him, leaving their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired men.

Когда они пришли в Капернаум, Иисус в первую же субботу пошел в синагогу проповедовать.

Jesus and his companions went to the town of Capernaum. When the Sabbath day came, he went into the synagogue and began to teach.

Люди изумлялись Его учению, потому что Он учил их, как обладающий властью, а не как учителя закона.

The people were amazed at his teaching, for he taught with real authority — quite unlike the teachers of religious law.

Как раз в это время в синагоге находился человек, одержимый нечистым духом, который вдруг закричал:

Suddenly, a man in the synagogue who was possessed by an evilh spirit cried out,

— Что Ты хочешь от нас, Иисус из Назарета? Ты пришел, чтобы погубить нас? Я знаю, кто Ты такой: Ты Божий Святой!

“Why are you interfering with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are — the Holy One of God!”

— Замолчи! — строго приказал Иисус. — Выйди из него!

But Jesus reprimanded him. “Be quiet! Come out of the man,” he ordered.

Нечистый дух сотряс человека и с громким криком вышел из него.

At that, the evil spirit screamed, threw the man into a convulsion, and then came out of him.

Люди в изумлении говорили друг другу: — Что это? Новое учение, да еще и с такой властью! Он даже нечистым духам приказывает, и те подчиняются Ему!

Amazement gripped the audience, and they began to discuss what had happened. “What sort of new teaching is this?” they asked excitedly. “It has such authority! Even evil spirits obey his orders!”

Слух об Иисусе мгновенно разошелся по всей Галилее.

The news about Jesus spread quickly throughout the entire region of Galilee.

Из синагоги они с Иаковом и Иоанном пошли домой к Симону и Андрею.

After Jesus left the synagogue with James and John, they went to Simon and Andrew’s home.

Теща Симона была больна, у нее был сильный жар, и Иисусу сказали о ней.

Now Simon’s mother-in-law was sick in bed with a high fever. They told Jesus about her right away.

Он подошел к ней, взял ее за руку и помог подняться. Жар ее прошел, и она стала накрывать на стол.

So he went to her bedside, took her by the hand, and helped her sit up. Then the fever left her, and she prepared a meal for them.

Вечером, после захода солнца, к Иисусу стали приносить больных и одержимых демонами.

That evening after sunset, many sick and demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus.

Весь город собрался у дверей.

The whole town gathered at the door to watch.

В тот день Иисус исцелил очень многих от самых различных болезней и изгнал много демонов. Демонам Он запрещал говорить, потому что они знали, кто Он.

So Jesus healed many people who were sick with various diseases, and he cast out many demons. But because the demons knew who he was, he did not allow them to speak.

На следующее утро, когда было еще темно, Иисус вышел из дому, пошел в безлюдное место и там молился.

Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray.

Симон и другие ученики бросились искать Его

Later Simon and the others went out to find him.

и, когда нашли, сказали Ему: — Все Тебя ищут!

When they found him, they said, “Everyone is looking for you.”

А Он им ответил: — Пойдем в другие окрестные деревни, чтобы Мне и там проповедовать, Я ведь для этого и пришел.

But Jesus replied, “We must go on to other towns as well, and I will preach to them, too. That is why I came.”

И Он ходил по всей Галилее, проповедуя в синагогах и изгоняя демонов.

So he traveled throughout the region of Galilee, preaching in the synagogues and casting out demons.

Однажды к Нему подошел человек, больной проказой. Упав перед Иисусом на колени, он стал умолять Его: — Очисти меня, если хочешь. Ты ведь можешь это сделать.

A man with leprosy came and knelt in front of Jesus, begging to be healed. “If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean,” he said.

Иисусу стало жаль его. Он протянул руку и, прикоснувшись к прокаженному, сказал: — Хочу, очистись!

Moved with compassion,i Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!”

Как только Он это сказал, проказа сошла с человека, и тот стал чистым.

Instantly the leprosy disappeared, and the man was healed.

Иисус тут же отослал его, строго предупредив:

Then Jesus sent him on his way with a stern warning:

— Никому ничего не рассказывай. Пойди, покажись священнику и принеси жертву за очищение, как это заповедал Моисей, этим твое исцеление будет удостоверено перед людьми.

“Don’t tell anyone about this. Instead, go to the priest and let him examine you. Take along the offering required in the law of Moses for those who have been healed of leprosy.j This will be a public testimony that you have been cleansed.”

Но тот пошел и начал повсюду рассказывать о случившемся. Из-за этого Иисусу стало невозможно открыто появиться в городе, и Он оставался в безлюдных местах. Народ, однако, стекался к Нему отовсюду.

But the man went and spread the word, proclaiming to everyone what had happened. As a result, large crowds soon surrounded Jesus, and he couldn’t publicly enter a town anywhere. He had to stay out in the secluded places, but people from everywhere kept coming to him.
