Дзе́ці, слухайце бацькоў сваіх у Госпадзе, бо гэта справядліва.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

Паважай бацьку твайго і матку, — гэта пе́ршая за́паведзь з прырачэньнем:

“Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise),

каб было табе́ добра, і быў даўгале́тнім на зямлі (Выхад 20:12).

“that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.”

І вы, айцы, не дражне́це дзяце́й вашых, але выхоўвайце іх у навуцы і напамінаньні Гасподнім.

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Рабы́, будзьце паслухмянымі паном сваім водле це́ла, з страхам і дрыжэньнем, у прастаце́ сэрца вашага, як-бы Хрысту,

Bondservants,a obey your earthly mastersb with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ,

не на вачох толькі паслугуючы, як дагаджаючыя чалаве́ку, але як рабы Хрыстовыя, выпаўняючы волю Божую ад душы,

not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

са шчырасьцяй паслугуючы Госпаду, а ня людзям,

rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man,

ве́даючы, што кожны, хто зробіць не́шта добрае атрымае тое ад Госпада, ці ён раб, ці свабодны.

knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free.

І вы, гаспадары, тое-ж рабе́це ім, палягчаючы суровасьць, ве́даючы, што й вам самым ёсьць на нябёсах гаспадар, у якога няма ўвагі на аблічча.

Masters, do the same to them, and stop your threatening, knowing that he who is both their Masterc and yours is in heaven, and that there is no partiality with him.

Накане́ц, браты мае́, крапчэйце ў Госпадзе і ў магутнасьці сілы Яго;

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

апране́цеся ў-ва ўсю зброю Божую, каб здолелі ўстаяць супраць хітрыкаў д’ябальскіх;

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

бо наша барацьба ня супраць крыві й це́ла, але супраць начальства, супраць уладаў, супраць сусьве́тных валадароў це́мры гэтага ве́ку, супраць духаў злосьці паднябе́сных.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Дзеля гэтага прыме́це ўсю зброю Божую, каб вы маглі ўстаяці ў ліхі дзе́нь і, усё зрабіўшы, астацца стаяць.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

Дык стойце-ж, падперазаўшы паясьніцы вашыя праўдаю і апрануўшыся ў зброю праведнасьці,

Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

і абуўшы ногі ў гатовасьць абвяшчаць мір;

and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.

а па-над усё вазьме́це шчыт ве́ры, якім зможаце затушыць усе́ разпаленыя стрэлы крывадушніка;

In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;

і шалом збаўле́ньня вазьме́це, і ме́ч духоўны, які ёсьць слова Божае;

and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

усякаю малітваю і просьбаю мале́цеся ў-ва ўсякі час духам і таго пілнуйцеся ў усякім цярпе́ньні і мале́ньні за ўсіх сьвятых

praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

дый за мяне́, каб мне́ дадзена было слова на адчыняньне вуснаў маіх, каб адважна абвяшчаць тайну Эвангельля,

and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel,

якога я й паслане́ц у путах, каб у ім быў сьме́лы, як мне́ трэба гаварыць.

for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

А каб і вы ве́далі аба мне́, што я ро́блю, усё вам раскажа Тыхік, умілаваны брат і ве́рны служка ў Госпадзе,

So that you also may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord will tell you everything.

якога я і паслаў да вас дзеля гэтага самага, каб вы даве́даліся аб нашых справах, і каб ён пацешыў сэрцы вашыя.

I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage your hearts.

Мір братом і любоў з ве́раю ад Бога Айца і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.

Peace be to the brothers,d and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ласка з усімі, што любяць Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста ў нятле́ннасьці. Амін.

Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible.
