Павел, волею Божьей апостол Иисуса Христа, живущим в Ефесе святым и верным во Христе Иисусе.

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:

Да пребудет с вами благодать и мир Бога, Отца нашего, и Господа Иисуса Христа!

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Благословен Бог и Отец Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, ниспославший свыше каждому из тех, кто во Христе, особое духовное благословение;

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

Бог избрал нас для Христа прежде создания мира, и, чтобы мы были святы и непорочны пред Ним,

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

любовью и благожеланием воли Своей Он предопределил усыновить нас чрез Иисуса Христа,

having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

чтобы мы воздали хвалу и славу благодати Его, которой Он осенил нас в возлюбленном Сыне Своем,

to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He [a]made us accepted in the Beloved.

искупившем нас кровью Своею и простившем нам прегрешения; по избытку благодати Своей,

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

которой Он приумножил в каждом из нас мудрость и разумение,

which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and [b]prudence,

Он благоволил открыть нам тайну, что волей Своей Он предустановил Христу

having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,

когда исполнится полнота времен возглавить всё небесное и земное,

that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, [c]both which are in heaven and which are on earth — in Him.

чтобы мы избранные предведением Бога, совершающего всё решением воли Своей,

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

воздали хвалу и славу Ему, мы, ранее уповавшие на Христа,

that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

в Котором и вы, слышавшие слово истины, проповедь о спасении вашем и уверовавшие в Него, запечатлены обетованным Духом Святым,

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

Который ниспослан как залог избрания нашего, во искупление достояния Его, воздающего хвалу и славу Ему.

who[d] is the [e]guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Поэтому и я, узнав о вере вашей в Господа Иисуса и о любви ко всем святым,

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

непрестанно благодарю за вас Бога, и, поминая вас в молитвах своих, прошу,

do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:

чтобы Источник славы, Бог Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, для того, чтобы вы познали Его, даровал вам дух премудрости и видения сокровенного,

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

просветив очи сердец ваших, дабы вы познали, чем является надежда для тех, которые избраны Им; в чём величие славы святых избранников Его,

the eyes of your [f]understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

и сколь безмерно в нас, верующих, проявляется величие могущества Его, то действие могущества силы Его,

and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

которое было явлено Им во Христе, когда Он воскресил Его из мертвых и посадил по правую сторону от Себя на небесах,

which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

превыше всех (ангельских чинов): Начал, Властей, Сил, Господств, и вообще любого их наименования, известного не только в этом веке, но и в будущем,

far above all principality[g] and [h]power and [i]might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

и все положил у ног Его, и поставил Его выше всех, во главе Церкви,

And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

которая есть тело Его, полнота Того, Кто всех восполняет во всём.

which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
