Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

Сѐ, гд҇ь разсы́плетъ вселе́ннѹю и҆ ѡ҆пѹстоши́тъ ю҆̀, и҆ ѿкры́етъ лицѐ є҆ѧ̀ и҆ расточи́тъ живѹ́щыѧ на не́й.

And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.

И҆ бѹ́дѹтъ лю́дїе а҆́ки жре́цъ, и҆ ра́бъ а҆́ки господи́нъ, и҆ раба̀ а҆́ки госпожа̀: бѹ́детъ кѹпѹ́ѧй ѩ҆́кѡ продаѧ́й, и҆ взаи́мъ є҆́млѧй а҆́ки заимода́вецъ, и҆ до́лжный а҆́ки є҆мѹ́же є҆́сть до́лженъ.

The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.

Тлѣ́нїемъ и҆стлѣ́етъ землѧ̀, и҆ расхище́нїемъ расхище́на бѹ́детъ землѧ̀: ѹ҆ста́ бо гд҇нѧ гл҃аша сїѧ҄.

The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

Воспла́касѧ землѧ̀, и҆ растлѣ́нна бы́сть вселе́ннаѧ, воспла́кашасѧ высо́цыи землѝ.

The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

Землѧ́ бо беззако́нїе сотворѝ живѹ́щихъ ра́ди на не́й, поне́же престѹпи́ша зако́нъ и҆ и҆змѣни́ша за́пѡвѣди, разрѹши́ша завѣ́тъ вѣ́чный.

Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Сегѡ̀ ра́ди проклѧ́тїе поѧ́стъ зе́млю, ѩ҆́кѡ согрѣши́ша живѹ́щїи на не́й: сегѡ̀ ра́ди ѹ҆бо́зи бѹ́дѹтъ живѹ́щїи на землѝ, и҆ ѡ҆ста́нетсѧ человѣ́кѡвъ ма́лѡ.

The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.

Воспла́четсѧ вїно̀, возрыда́етъ вїногра́дъ, возстенѹ́тъ всѝ ра́дѹющїисѧ дѹше́ю.

The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.

Преста́ло є҆́сть весе́лїе тѷмпа́нѡвъ, преста̀ высокоде́рзость и҆ бога́тство нечести́выхъ, преста́лъ є҆́сть гла́съ гѹ́слей:

They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.

ѹ҆срами́шасѧ, не пи́ша вїна̀, горька̀ бы́сть сїке́ра пїю́щымъ.

The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.

Ѡ҆пѹстѣ̀ всѧ́къ гра́дъ, заключи́тъ хра́мъ, є҆́же не вни́ти.

There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.

Пла́читесѧ ѡ҆ вїнѣ̀ всю́дѹ, преста́ла є҆́сть ра́дость всѧ̀ земна́ѧ, ѿи́де всѧ̀ ра́дость землѝ.

In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.

И҆ ѡ҆ста́нѹтъ гра́ди пѹ́сти, и҆ до́мове ѡ҆ста́влени поги́бнѹтъ.

When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.

Сїѧ҄ всѧ҄ бѹ́дѹтъ на землѝ средѝ ѩ҆зы́кѡвъ: ѩ҆́коже а҆́ще кто̀ ѡ҆трѧса́етъ ма́сличинѹ, та́кѡ ѡ҆трѧсѹ́тъ и҆̀хъ: и҆ (ѩ҆́коже) а҆́ще ѡ҆ста́нетъ ѿ ѡ҆б̾има́нїѧ вїногра́да,

They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

сі́и гла́сомъ возопїю́тъ: ѡ҆ста́вшїисѧ же на землѝ возра́дѹютсѧ со сла́вою гд҇нею, возмѧте́тсѧ вода̀ морска́ѧ.

Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.

Сегѡ̀ ра́ди сла́ва гд҇нѧ во ѻ҆́стровѣхъ бѹ́детъ морски́хъ, и҆́мѧ гд҇не просла́влено бѹ́детъ.

From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

Гд҇и бж҃е ї҆и҃левъ, ѿ кри́лъ земны́хъ чѹдеса̀ слы́шахомъ, наде́жда бл҃гочести́вомѹ: и҆ рекѹ́тъ: (го́ре хѹ́лѧщымъ, и҆̀же хѹ́лѧтъ зако́нъ,) го́ре престѹ́пникѡмъ, и҆̀же престѹпа́ютъ зако́нъ.

Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.

Стра́хъ и҆ про́пасть и҆ сѣ́ть на ва́съ живѹ́щихъ на землѝ.

And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

И҆ бѹ́детъ, бѣжа́й стра́ха впаде́тъ въ про́пасть, и҆ и҆зла́зѧй и҆з̾ про́пасти и҆́метсѧ въ сѣ́ть: ѩ҆́кѡ ѻ҆́кна съ небесѐ ѿверзо́шасѧ, и҆ потрѧсѹ́тсѧ ѡ҆снѡва́нїѧ земна҄ѧ.

The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

Мѧте́жемъ возмѧте́тсѧ землѧ̀, и҆ скѹ́достїю ѡ҆скѹдѣ́етъ землѧ̀.

The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

Преклони́сѧ и҆ потрѧсе́сѧ землѧ̀ а҆́ки ѻ҆во́щное храни́лище, и҆ а҆́ки пїѧ́нъ и҆ шѹ́менъ паде́тъ и҆ не возмо́жетъ воста́ти, преѡдолѣ́ бо на не́й беззако́нїе.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

И҆ бѹ́детъ въ то́й де́нь, наведе́тъ гд҇ь на ѹ҆́тварь небе́снѹю рѹ́кѹ и҆ на цари҄ земны҄ѧ.

And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

И҆ соберѹ́тъ собра́нїе є҆ѧ̀ и҆ затворѧ́тъ въ твє́рди и҆ въ тємни́цы: мно́зѣми рѡ́ды бѹ́детъ посѣще́нїе и҆́хъ.

Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

И҆ и҆ста́етъ плі́нѳа и҆ паде́тъ стѣна̀, и҆ ѹ҆стыди́тсѧ лѹна̀ и҆ посрами́тсѧ со́лнце: ѩ҆́кѡ воц҃ри́тсѧ гд҇ь въ сїѡ́нѣ и҆ во ї҆ер҇ли́мѣ и҆ пред̾ старѣ҄йшины сла́венъ бѹ́детъ.
