{A Psalm of David.} Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Псалом Давида. Песнь на освящение храма[55].

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Превозношу Тебя, Господи, за то, что Ты поднял меня из бездны и не дал моим врагам возрадоваться надо мной.

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

Господи, мой Боже, я на помощь Тебя призвал, и Ты меня исцелил.

The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

Господи, Ты вывел душу мою из мира мертвых. Ты сохранил мне жизнь, чтобы я не сошел в пропасть.

The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

Пойте Господу, верные Ему, возносите хвалу, вспоминая о Его святости!

He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

Потому что гнев Его длится миг, а милость Его — всю жизнь. Всю ночь может длиться плач, но утром приходит радость.

The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

В благополучии я сказал: «Вовек не поколеблюсь».

The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

Милостив Ты был ко мне, Господи, и утвердил меня, словно гору. Но лишь сокрыл Ты Свое лицо, и ужас объял меня.

The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

К Тебе я взывал, Господи; Владыку о милости я умолял:

The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

«Что за польза от смерти моей, если я низойду в бездну? Будет ли прах Тебя славить? Будет ли верность Твою возвещать?

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

Услышь, Господи, и помилуй меня! Будь мне помощником, Господи!»
