Woe to the city of oppressors, rebellious and defiled!

Го́ре го́роду нечи́стому и осквернённому, притесни́телю!

She obeys no one, she accepts no correction. She does not trust in the Lord, she does not draw near to her God.

Не слу́шает го́лоса, не принима́ет наставле́ния, на Го́спода не упова́ет, к Бо́гу своему́ не приближа́ется.

Her officials within her are roaring lions; her rulers are evening wolves, who leave nothing for the morning.

Князья́ его́ посреди́ него́ — ры́кающие львы, су́дьи его́ — вече́рние во́лки, не оставля́ющие до утра́ ни одно́й ко́сти.

Her prophets are unprincipled; they are treacherous people. Her priests profane the sanctuary and do violence to the law.

Проро́ки его́ — лю́ди легкомы́сленные, вероло́мные; свяще́нники его́ оскверня́ют святы́ню, попира́ют зако́н.

The Lord within her is righteous; he does no wrong. Morning by morning he dispenses his justice, and every new day he does not fail, yet the unrighteous know no shame.

Госпо́дь пра́веден посреди́ него́, не де́лает непра́вды, ка́ждое у́тро явля́ет суд Свой неизме́нно; но беззако́нник не зна́ет стыда́.

“I have destroyed nations; their strongholds are demolished. I have left their streets deserted, with no one passing through. Their cities are laid waste; they are deserted and empty.

Я истреби́л наро́ды, разру́шены тверды́ни их; пусты́ми сде́лал у́лицы их, так что никто́ уже́ не хо́дит по ним; разорены́ города́ их: нет ни одного́ челове́ка, нет жи́телей.

Of Jerusalem I thought, ‘Surely you will fear me and accept correction!’ Then her place of refugea would not be destroyed, nor all my punishments come uponb her. But they were still eager to act corruptly in all they did.

Я говори́л: «бо́йся то́лько Меня́, принима́й наставле́ние!» и не бу́дет истреблено́ жили́ще его́, и не пости́гнет его́ зло, како́е Я постанови́л о нём; а они́ приле́жно стара́лись по́ртить все свои́ де́йствия.

Therefore wait for me,” declares the Lord, “for the day I will stand up to testify.c I have decided to assemble the nations, to gather the kingdoms and to pour out my wrath on them — all my fierce anger. The whole world will be consumed by the fire of my jealous anger.

Ита́к, жди́те Меня́, говори́т Госпо́дь, до того́ дня, когда́ Я восста́ну для опустоше́ния, и́бо Мно́ю определено́ собра́ть наро́ды, созва́ть ца́рства, что́бы изли́ть на них негодова́ние Моё, всю я́рость гне́ва Моего́; и́бо огнём ре́вности Мое́й по́жрана бу́дет вся земля́.

“Then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the name of the Lord and serve him shoulder to shoulder.

Тогда́ опя́ть Я дам наро́дам уста́ чи́стые, что́бы все призыва́ли и́мя Го́спода и служи́ли Ему́ единоду́шно.

From beyond the rivers of Cushd my worshipers, my scattered people, will bring me offerings.

Из заре́чных стран Ефио́пии покло́нники Мои́, де́ти рассе́янных Мои́х, принесу́т Мне дары́.

On that day you, Jerusalem, will not be put to shame for all the wrongs you have done to me, because I will remove from you your arrogant boasters. Never again will you be haughty on my holy hill.

В тот день ты не бу́дешь срами́ть себя́ вся́кими посту́пками твои́ми, каки́ми ты греши́л про́тив Меня́, и́бо тогда́ Я удалю́ из среды́ твое́й тщесла́вящихся твое́ю зна́тностью, и не бу́дешь бо́лее превозноси́ться на свято́й горе́ Мое́й.

But I will leave within you the meek and humble. The remnant of Israel will trust in the name of the Lord.

Но оста́влю среди́ тебя́ наро́д смире́нный и просто́й, и они́ бу́дут упова́ть на и́мя Госпо́дне.

They will do no wrong; they will tell no lies. A deceitful tongue will not be found in their mouths. They will eat and lie down and no one will make them afraid.”

Оста́тки Изра́иля не бу́дут де́лать непра́вды, не ста́нут говори́ть лжи, и не найдётся в уста́х их языка́ кова́рного, и́бо са́ми бу́дут пасти́сь и поко́иться, и никто́ не потрево́жит их.

Sing, Daughter Zion; shout aloud, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, Daughter Jerusalem!

Лику́й, дщерь Сио́на! торжеству́й, Изра́иль! весели́сь и ра́дуйся от всего́ се́рдца, дщерь Иерусали́ма!

The Lord has taken away your punishment, he has turned back your enemy. The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you; never again will you fear any harm.

Отмени́л Госпо́дь пригово́р над тобо́ю, прогна́л врага́ твоего́! Госпо́дь, царь Изра́илев, посреди́ тебя́: уже́ бо́лее не уви́дишь зла.

On that day they will say to Jerusalem, “Do not fear, Zion; do not let your hands hang limp.

В тот день ска́жут Иерусали́му: «не бо́йся», и Сио́ну: «да не ослабева́ют ру́ки твои́!»

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Госпо́дь Бог твой среди́ тебя́, Он силён спасти́ тебя́; возвесели́тся о тебе́ ра́достью, бу́дет ми́лостив по любви́ Свое́й, бу́дет торжествова́ть о тебе́ с ликова́нием.

“I will remove from you all who mourn over the loss of your appointed festivals, which is a burden and reproach for you.

Се́тующих о торже́ственных пра́зднествах Я соберу́: твои́ они́, на них тяготе́ет поноше́ние.

At that time I will deal with all who oppressed you. I will rescue the lame; I will gather the exiles. I will give them praise and honor in every land where they have suffered shame.

Вот, Я стесню́ всех притесни́телей твои́х в то вре́мя и спасу́ хро́млющее, и соберу́ рассе́янное, и приведу́ их в почёт и имени́тость на всей э́той земле́ поноше́ния их.

At that time I will gather you; at that time I will bring you home. I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunese before your very eyes,” says the Lord.

В то вре́мя приведу́ вас и тогда́ же соберу́ вас, и́бо сде́лаю вас имени́тыми и почётными ме́жду все́ми наро́дами земли́, когда́ возвращу́ плен ваш пе́ред глаза́ми ва́шими, говори́т Госпо́дь.
