Пасля ўбачыў я іншага магутнага анёла, апранутага ў воблака, які сыходзіў з неба, і над галавой у яго вясёлка, і твар яго — быццам сонца, і ногі яго — як слупы вогненныя,

I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.

і меў ён у руцэ сваёй адкрытую маленькую кніжку. І паставіў ён ногі свае: правую — на мора, а левую — на зямлю,

He had a little book open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

і ўсклікнуў магутным голасам на падабенства рыкаючага льва. І калі ён усклікнуў, прамовілі сем грымот галасамі сваімі.

and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices.

І калі прагучалі гэтыя сем грымот, хацеў я пісаць, але пачуў з неба голас, які казаў мне: «Запячатай тое, што прамовілі сем грымот, і не пішы таго».

Now when the seven thunders [a]uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying [b]to me, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.”

І анёл, якога я бачыў, што стаяў на моры і на зямлі, падняў правую руку сваю ў неба

The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his [c]hand to heaven

і прысягнуў Тым, Хто жыве на векі вечныя, Які стварыў неба і ўсё, што на ім ёсць, і зямлю і тое, што на ёй ёсць, і мора і што ў ім ёсць: «Часу ўжо больш не будзе!

and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer,

Але ў тых днях, у час голасу сёмага анёла, калі ён пачне трубіць, збудзецца таямніца Божая, як Ён дабравесціў паслугачам Сваім прарокам».

but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

І пачуў я зноў голас з неба, які гаварыў са мной і казаў: «Ідзі і вазьмі адкрытую маленькую кніжку з рукі анёла, што стаіць на моры і на зямлі».

Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, “Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.”

І пайшоў я да анёла, кажучы яму: «Дай мне маленькую кніжку». І ён сказаў мне: «Бяры кнігу і з’еж яе; і яна стане горкаю ў жываце тваім, але ў вуснах тваіх будзе яна салодкая, як мёд».

So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little book.” And he said to me, “Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.”

І ўзяў я маленькую кніжку з рукі анёла і з’еў яе; і ў вуснах маіх была яна салодкай, як мёд, а, калі яе спажыў, нутро маё напоўнілася горыччу.

Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

І кажа мне: «Ты павінен зноў прарочыць пра народы, пра плямёны, пра мовы і пра многіх цароў».

And [d]he said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”
