І здарылася гэта ў трыццаты год, у пяты дзень чацвёртага месяца, калі я знаходзіўся сярод палонных ля ракі Кэбар, што адкрыліся нябёсы і бачыў я з’яву Божую.

Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River Chebar, that the heavens were opened and I saw visions[a] of God.

У пяты дзень месяца, а гэта быў пяты год ад перасялення цара Ёахіна,

On the fifth day of the month, which was in the fifth year of King Jehoiachin’s captivity,

Госпад прамовіў да святара Эзэкіэля, сына Буза, у зямлі халдэяў ля ракі Кэбар; і супачыла на ім там рука Госпада.

the word of the Lord came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the [b]Chaldeans by the River Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was upon him there.

І я паглядзеў: і вось, віхор дзьмуў з поўначы, і велізарная хмара, і агонь палымнеючы, ды бляск кругом яго, і з сярэдзіны яго — штосьці накшталт злітка золата са срэбрам, — гэта значыць з сярэдзіны агню;

Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

і ў сярэдзіне яго — штосьці накшталт чатырох істот жывых; і мелі яны такі выгляд: быў у іх выгляд чалавека.

Also from within it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man.

Кожная з іх мела па чатыры твары і па чатыры крылы;

Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings.

ногі іх былі прамыя, а ступні ног іх былі падобныя да ступняў ног цяляці, і блішчалі яны, як медзь ззяючая.

Their [c]legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the soles of calves’ feet. They sparkled like the color of burnished bronze.

І пад крыламі мелі яны рукі чалавечыя па чатырох баках. Твары ж і крылы былі ва ўсіх чатырох:

The hands of a man were under their wings on their four sides; and each of the four had faces and wings.

крылы іх прылягалі адны да другіх; яны не адварочваліся, калі ішлі; але кожная істота ішла проста перад сабою.

Their wings touched one another. The creatures did not turn when they went, but each one went straight forward.

Падабенства ж твараў іх: кожная з чатырох істот мела з правага боку аблічча чалавека і выгляд ільва, а з левага боку кожная з чатырох мела выгляд вала і выгляд арла.

As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man; each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle.

І крылы іх былі скіраваныя ўгару; два крылы прылягалі адно да аднаго, і два закрывалі целы іх.

Thus were their faces. Their wings stretched upward; two wings of each one touched one another, and two covered their bodies.

І кожная ішла напрасткі: ішлі туды, куды іх вяло імкненне духу, і, ідучы, не адварочваліся.

And each one went straight forward; they went wherever the spirit wanted to go, and they did not turn when they went.

І ў сярэдзіне між тымі істотамі жывымі — штосьці накшталт вугалёў, падобных да паходняў, што рухаюцца між тымі істотамі жывымі; і агонь кідаў яркі бляск, ды з агню ўздымаліся маланкі.

As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches going back and forth among the living creatures. The fire was bright, and out of the fire went lightning.

І істоты жывыя ішлі і вярталіся назад, накшталт маланкі, што бліскае.

And the living creatures ran back and forth, in appearance like a flash of lightning.

І калі прыгледзеўся я да тых істот жывых, то пры кожнай з тых істот жывых знаходзілася на зямлі адно кола.

Now as I looked at the living creatures, behold, a wheel was on the earth beside each living creature with its four faces.

І выгляд тых колаў, і выраб іх — накшталт хрызаліта, і ўсе чатыры мелі аднолькавы выгляд; і здавалася, што былі яны зроблены так, што адно кола было ў другім.

The appearance of the wheels and their workings was like the color of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. The appearance of their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

Маглі яны хадзіць у чатырох напрамках; і, калі ішлі, не адварочваліся.

When they moved, they went toward any one of four directions; they did not turn aside when they went.

А абады іх былі велізарныя і жахлівага выгляду; і абады іх былі поўныя вачэй вакол усіх чатырох.

As for their rims, they were so high they were awesome; and their rims were full of eyes, all around the four of them.

А калі гэтыя істоты жывыя рухаліся, таксама і колы іх рухаліся разам з імі; і калі істоты падымаліся з зямлі, падымаліся таксама і колы.

When the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

Куды кіраваў іх дух, каб ісці, туды ішлі, і колы адначасова падымаліся, ідучы за імі; бо дух жывых істот знаходзіўся ў колах.

Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, because there the spirit went; and the wheels were lifted together with them, for the spirit of the [d]living creatures was in the wheels.

Калі рухаліся гэтыя істоты, рухаліся і колы, і калі спыняліся, таксама і колы затрымліваліся; і калі яны падымаліся з зямлі, і колы падымаліся таксама, і колы ішлі за імі, бо дух жывых істот знаходзіўся ў колах.

When those went, these went; when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up together with them, for the spirit of the [e]living creatures was in the wheels.

І над галовамі гэтых істот жывых было штосьці накшталт цвярдыні нябеснай, быццам крышталь ірдзеючы, раскінуты над іх галовамі ўгары.

The likeness of the [f]firmament above the heads of the [g]living creatures was like the color of an awesome crystal, stretched out over their heads.

А пад цвярдыняй былі паднятыя крылы іх, адно каля аднаго; і кожная жывая істота пакрывала сваё цела двума крыламі.

And under the firmament their wings spread out straight, one toward another. Each one had two which covered one side, and each one had two which covered the other side of the body.

І калі яны ішлі, чуў я шум крылаў, як шум многіх водаў, як голас Усемагутнага: калі яны ішлі, быў водгук аглушальны, як шум лагера ваеннага; і калі яны спыняліся, крылы мелі апушчаныя.

When they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a tumult like the noise of an army; and when they stood still, they let down their wings.

Бо калі чуўся голас над цвярдыняй нябеснай, якая была над іх галовамі, яны спыняліся і крылы мелі апушчаныя.

A voice came from above the firmament that was over their heads; whenever they stood, they let down their wings.

І над цвярдыняю нябеснаю, якая ўзвышалася над іх галовамі, было штосьці, што мела выгляд каменя сапфіравага, накшталт пасада; і на ім быццам постаць чалавека зверху.

And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it.

І ўбачыў я штосьці накшталт злітка золата са срэбрам, які выглядаў, як агонь кругом яго, пачынаючы ад таго, што выглядала, як сцёгны, і вышэй; і ўніз ад таго, што выглядала, як сцёгны, убачыў я штосьці, як агонь, які ззяе вакол яго.

Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around.

Як з’яўленне вясёлкі на воблаку ў дажджлівы дзень, такі быў той бляск наўкола.

Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. Ezekiel Sent to Rebellious IsraelSo when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.
