Многа разоў і многімі спосабамі прамаўляў здаўна Бог да бацькоў нашых праз прарокаў.

God, who [a]at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,

У апошнія ж гэтыя дні прамовіў Ён да нас праз Сына, Якога паставіў спадкаемцам усяго, праз Якога стварыў і вякі.

has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the [b]worlds;

Ён — ззянне славы і вобраз Яго істоты, Які трымае ўсё словам магутнасці Сваёй і, здзейсніўшы праз Сябе ачышчэнне грахоў нашых, сядзіць праваруч велічы на вышынях,

who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had [c]by Himself [d]purged [e]our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

настолькі вышэйшы за анёлаў, наколькі вышэйшае ад іх дастаў у спадчыне імя.

having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Бо каму з анёлаў сказаў Ён калісьці: «Ты — Сын Мой, Я Цябе сёння спарадзіў»? Або зноў: «Я буду Яму Айцом, а Ён будзе Мне Сынам»?

For to which of the angels did He ever say: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? And again: “I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”?

І зноў жа, калі ўводзіць Першароднага ў свет, кажа: «І будуць пакланяцца Яму ўсе Божыя анёлы».

But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all the angels of God worship Him.”

А да анёлаў вось што кажа: «Ён творыць анёламі Сваімі духаў і паслугачамі Сваімі полымя агню».

And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.”

А да Сына: «Пасад Твой, Божа, на векі вечныя, і жазло справядлівасці — жазло валадарства Твайго.

But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A [f]scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

Узлюбіў Ты справядлівасць і ўзненавідзеў беззаконне, таму намасціў Цябе, Божа, Бог Твой алеем радасці больш за супольнікаў Тваіх».

You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

І: «Госпадзе, напачатку заснаваў Ты зямлю, і неба — стварэнне рук Тваіх.

And: “You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

Яны загінуць, а Ты застанешся, і ўсе яны, як вопратка, састарэюць,

They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment;

і, як шаты, скруціш іх, і яны пераменяцца. А Ты Той самы, і гады Твае не скончацца».

Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not fail.”

Да каго ж з анёлаў сказаў Ён калісьці: «Сядзь праваруч Мяне, аж дакуль не пакладу непрыяцеляў Тваіх пад ногі Твае»?

But to which of the angels has He ever said: “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?

Ці ж не ўсе яны ёсць паслугуючыя духі, пасланыя на паслугу тым, якія атрымаюць у спадчыну збаўленне?

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
