І ў першы дзень другога месяца, у другім годзе па выхадзе з Егіпта прамовіў Госпад да Майсея ў пустыні Сінай у палатцы сустрэчы, кажучы:

Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying:

«Пералічыць усю грамаду сыноў Ізраэлевых па родах і па сем’ях іх, і па імёнах — усіх мужчынскага полу:

“Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, every male individually,

ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, усіх здатных да бою ізраэльцаў, палічыце іх па дружынах іх, ты і Аарон.

from twenty years old and above — all who are able to go to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall number them by their armies.

І з кожнага пакалення павінен быць з вамі чалавек, князь дому бацькоў яго,

And with you there shall be a man from every tribe, each one the head of his father’s house.

вось гэтыя імёны: ад Рубэна — Элісур, сын Сэдэура;

“These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: from Reuben, Elizur the son of Shedeur;

ад Сімяона — Саламіэль, сын Сурысадая;

from Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;

ад Юды — Наасон, сын Амінадаба;

from Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab;

ад Ісахара — Натанаэль, сын Суара;

from Issachar, Nethanel the son of Zuar;

ад Забулона — Эліяб, сын Гэлона;

from Zebulun, Eliab the son of Helon;

ад сыноў Язэпа: ад Эфраіма — Элісама, сын Аміюда; ад Манасы — Гамаліэль, сын Падасура;

from the sons of Joseph: from Ephraim, Elishama the son of Ammihud; from Manasseh, Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur;

ад Бэньяміна — Абідан, сын Гедэона;

from Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni;

ад Дана — Ахіязэр, сын Амісадая;

from Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai;

ад Асэра — Пэгіэль, сын Акрана;

from Asher, Pagiel the son of Ocran;

ад Гада — Эліясаф, сын Дэуэля;

from Gad, Eliasaph the son of Deuel;[a]

ад Нэфталі — Ахіра, сын Энана».

from Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.”

Гэта людзі самыя знакамітыя ў грамадзе, кіраўнікі пакаленняў бацькоў сваіх і кіраўнікі тысяч Ізраэля.

These were chosen[b] from the congregation, leaders of their fathers’ tribes, heads of the divisions in Israel.

Майсей і Аарон узялі іх, паімённа названых,

Then Moses and Aaron took these men who had been [c]mentioned by name,

і першага дня другога месяца сабралі яны ўсю грамаду, пералічваючы іх па родах іх, і па сем’ях бацькоў іх, і кожнага па імені ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, па кіраўніках,

and they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they recited their ancestry by families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, each one individually.

як загадаў Госпад Майсею. І былі палічаны яны ў пустыні Сінай.

As the Lord commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the Wilderness of Sinai.

Ад сыноў Рубэна, першароднага Ізраэля — пакаленні па плямёнах і па сем’ях бацькоў іх, па імёнах усіх людзей мужчынскага полу ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, здатных да бою.

Now the children of Reuben, Israel’s oldest son, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, every male individually, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

Было налічана з пакалення Рубэна сорак шэсць тысяч пяцьсот.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Reuben were forty-six thousand five hundred.

Ад сыноў Сімяона — пакаленні па племёнах і па сем’ях родаў іх, былі палічаны па імёнах усе людзі мужчынскага полу, ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, здатныя да бою.

From the children of Simeon, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, of those who were numbered, according to the number of names, every male individually, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

Было налічана з пакалення Сімяонавага пяцьдзесят дзевяць тысяч трыста.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Simeon were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.

Ад сыноў Гада — пакаленні па плямёнах і па сем’ях родаў іх, па імёнах усіх людзей мужчынскага полу ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, здатных да бою,

From the children of Gad, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

было налічана сорак пяць тысяч шэсцьсот пяцьдзесят.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Gad were forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

Ад сыноў Юды — пакаленні па плямёнах і па сем’ях родаў іх, па імёнах усіх людзей мужчынскага полу ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, усіх здатных да бою,

From the children of Judah, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

было налічана семдзесят чатыры тысячы шэсцьсот.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Judah were seventy-four thousand six hundred.

Ад сыноў Ісахара — пакаленні па плямёнах і па сем’ях родаў іх, па імёнах усіх людзей мужчынскага полу ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, усіх здатных да бою,

From the children of Issachar, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

было налічана пяцьдзесят чатыры тысячы чатырыста.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Issachar were fifty-four thousand four hundred.

Ад сыноў Забулона — пакаленні па плямёнах і па сем’ях родаў іх, па імёнах усіх людзей мужчынскага полу ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, усіх здатных да бою,

From the children of Zebulun, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

было налічана пяцьдзесят сем тысяч чатырыста.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Zebulun were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

Ад сыноў Язэпа, сыноў Эфраіма — пакаленні па плямёнах і па сем’ях родаў іх, па імёнах усіх людзей мужчынскага полу ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, усіх здатных да бою,

From the sons of Joseph, the children of Ephraim, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

было налічана сорак тысяч пяцьсот.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Ephraim were forty thousand five hundred.

Ад сыноў Манасы — пакаленні па плямёнах і па сем’ях родаў іх, па імёнах усіх людзей мужчынскага полу ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, усіх здатных да бою,

From the children of Manasseh, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

было налічана трыццаць дзве тысячы дзвесце.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Manasseh were thirty-two thousand two hundred.

Ад сыноў Бэньяміна — пакаленні па плямёнах і па сем’ях родаў іх, па імёнах людзей мужчынскага полу ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, усіх здатных да бою,

From the children of Benjamin, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

было налічана трыццаць пяць тысяч чатырыста.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Benjamin were thirty-five thousand four hundred.

Ад сыноў Дана — пакаленні па плямёнах і па сем’ях родаў іх, па імёнах усіх людзей мужчынскага полу ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, усіх здатных да бою,

From the children of Dan, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

было налічана шэсцьдзесят дзве тысячы семсот.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Dan were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

Ад сыноў Асэра — пакаленні па плямёнах і па сем’ях родаў іх, па імёнах усіх людзей мужчынскага полу ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, усіх здатных да бою,

From the children of Asher, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

было налічана сорак адна тысяча пяцьсот.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Asher were forty-one thousand five hundred.

Ад сыноў Нэфталі — пакаленні па плямёнах і па сем’ях родаў іх, па імёнах усіх людзей мужчынскага полу ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй, усіх здатных да бою,

From the children of Naphtali, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

было налічана пяцьдзесят тры тысячы чатырыста.

those who were numbered of the tribe of Naphtali were fifty-three thousand four hundred.

Гэта тыя, каго палічылі Майсей і Аарон разам з дванаццаццю кіраўнікамі Ізраэля, па адным з сям’і бацькоў іх.

These are the ones who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, with the leaders of Israel, twelve men, each one representing his father’s house.

І поўны лік сыноў Ізраэля, здатных да бою, па сем’ях бацькоў іх, ад дваццаці гадоў і вышэй,

So all who were numbered of the children of Israel, by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war in Israel —

складаў шэсцьсот тры тысячы пяцьсот пяцьдзесят.

all who were numbered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.

А левіты былі палічаны з імі ў пакаленні бацькоў іх.

But the Levites were not numbered among them by their fathers’ tribe;

І Госпад сказаў Майсею, гаворачы:

for the Lord had spoken to Moses, saying:

«Не лічы пакаленне Леві і не далучай колькасць іх да сыноў Ізраэля,

“Only the tribe of Levi you shall not number, nor take a census of them among the children of Israel;

але даручы ім скінію сведчання, усе яе прылады і ўсё, што патрэбна для рытуалаў. Хай яны носяць скінію і ўсе яе прыналежнасці, і хай будуць пры ёй служыць, і навокал яе хай паставяць палаткі.

but you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the Testimony, over all its furnishings, and over all things that belong to it; they shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; they shall attend to it and camp around the tabernacle.

Калі трэба будзе пусціцца ў дарогу, хай разбяруць скінію левіты; калі трэба будзе размясціцца лагерам, хай паставяць яе; калі хто з чужых наблізіцца, будзе пакараны смерцю.

And when the tabernacle is to go forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The outsider who comes near shall be put to death.

Сыны ж Ізраэля хай стануць лагерам: усе на сваім месцы ў лагеры, кожны пад сваім сцягам, пры сваіх дружынах.

The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, everyone by his own camp, everyone by his own standard, according to their armies;

А левіты хай паставяць палаткі вакол скініі сведчання, каб не было гневу на грамаду сыноў Ізраэля, і хай яны стаяць на варце скініі сведчання».

but the Levites shall camp around the tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel; and the Levites shall keep[d] charge of the tabernacle of the Testimony.”

Такім чынам, сыны Ізраэля споўнілі ўсё, што Госпад загадаў Майсею.

Thus the children of Israel did; according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so they did.
