Паўла, з волі Божай Апостал Ісуса Хрыста, і Цімафей, брат, Царкве Божай, што ў Карынце, з усімі святымі, што ва ўсёй Ахаі:

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia:

ласка вам і супакой ад Бога, Айца нашага, і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Дабраславёны Бог і Айцец Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста, Айцец міласэрнасці і Бог усякага суцяшэння,

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

Які суцяшае нас у кожным нашым горы, каб мы самі маглі суцяшаць тых, што ў якой-колечы бядзе, суцяшэннем, якім самі суцяшаемся ад Бога.

who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any [a]trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Бо як у нас памнажаюцца цярпенні Хрыстовы, так і праз Хрыста павялічваецца суцяшэнне наша.

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our [b]consolation also abounds through Christ.

І, калі мы смуткуем, дык для суцяшэння вашага і для збаўлення; а калі мы суцяшаемся, дык для вашага суцяшэння і збаўлення, каб вы цярпліва пераносілі гэтыя самыя пакуты, якія і мы церпім.

Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

І надзея наша на вас цвёрдая, бо ведаем, што вы ёсць супольнікі як пакут, так і суцяшэння.

And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.

Не хочам, браты, каб вы не ведалі пра наша гора, якое сталася ў Азіі, бо нас страшна прыціснула звыш сілы, так што не спадзяваліся жыць.

For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our [c]trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life.

Але мы самі ў сабе мелі прысуд смерці, каб не пакладаліся на саміх сябе, але на Бога, Які ўваскрашае мёртвых.

Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead,

Ён і выбавіў нас ад такой смерці, і выбаўляе, і мы маем у Ім надзею, што і далей будзе выбаўляць,

who delivered us from so great a death, and [d]does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us,

за дапамогай вашых малітваў за нас, каб за той дар, што мы маем ад многіх людзей, многія падзяку складалі за нас.

you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on [e]our behalf for the gift granted to us through many.

Бо пахвала наша — гэта сведчанне сумлення нашага, што ў прастаце ды ў шчырасці Божай, і не ў цялеснай мудрасці, але ў ласцы Божай жылі мы на свеце, асабліва ў вас.

For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in [f]simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

Не пішам вам нічога, як толькі тое, што вы чытаеце і што разумееце. Спадзяюся, што і да канца будзеце разумець.

For we are not writing any other things to you than what you read or understand. Now I trust you will understand, even to the end

Вы ўжо часткова зразумелі нас, што мы ёсць пахвала ваша, а вы — наша ў дзень Госпада нашага Ісуса.

(as also you have understood us in part), that we are your boast as you also are ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus.

І з такой пэўнасцю я ўжо раней хацеў прыбыць да вас, каб атрымалі вы паўторную ласку,

And in this confidence I intended to come to you before, that you might have a second benefit —

і ад вас прайсці ў Мацэдонію, а з Мацэдоніі зноў прыйсці да вас, каб вы правялі мяне ў Юдэю.

to pass by way of you to Macedonia, to come again from Macedonia to you, and be helped by you on my way to Judea.

Калі я меў гэткі намер, ці рабіў гэта легкадумна? Ці тое, што я задумваю, паводле цела задумваю, каб было ў мяне: «так — так» і «не — не»?

Therefore, when I was planning this, did I do it lightly? Or the things I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be Yes, Yes, and No, No?

Верны Бог, што слова наша, якое было ў вас, — не было «так» і «не»!

But as God is faithful, our [g]word to you was not Yes and No.

Бо Сын Божы Ісус Хрыстос, Якога мы вам прапаведавалі, — я, і Сіліван, і Цімафей, — не быў: «так» і «не», але ў Ім было «так».

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us — by me, Silvanus, and Timothy — was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes.

Бо колькі абяцанняў Бога, у Ім — «так». Таму таксама праз Яго і «амін», на хвалу Богу праз нас.

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

А Той, Хто нас умацоўвае разам з вамі ў Хрысце ды Хто нас намасціў, ёсць Бог,

Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,

Які запячатаў нас ды пакінуў заруку Духа ў сэрцах нашых.

who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

Дык прызываю ў сведку Бога і душу маю, што, шкадуючы вас, я дасюль не прыходзіў у Карынт

Moreover I call God as witness against my soul, that to spare you I came no more to Corinth.

не з-за таго, што мы валадарым над верай вашай, але мы памочнікі вашае радасці, бо ў веры вы трывалыя.

Not that we [h]have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for by faith you stand.
