І стаў я на пяску марскім. І ўбачыў звера, які падымаўся з мора, з сямю галовамі і дзесяццю рагамі. На рагах у яго было дзесяць дыядэм, і на галовах яго надпісы блюзнячыя.

Then [a]I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having [b]seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.

І звер, якога я бачыў, быў падобны да барса, а ступні яго як у мядзведзя, а пашча ў яго як у льва. І даў яму дракон сілу сваю, і пасад свой, і вялікую ўладу.

Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.

І адна з яго галоў быццам смяротна паранена, і тая яе смяротная рана была залечана. І дзівілася ўся зямля са звера,

And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.

і пакланіліся ўсе перад драконам, які даў уладу зверу, і кланяліся зверу, кажучы: «Хто ж зраўняецца са зверам і хто зможа супраць яго ваяваць?»

So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

І дадзены былі яму вусны, што гаварылі пыхлівае і блюзнячае, і дадзена была яму ўлада дзейнічаць на працягу сарака двух месяцаў.

And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to [c]continue for forty-two months.

І адчыніў ён пашчу сваю ў блюзненнях на Бога, каб блюзніць на імя Яго, і палатку Яго, і на тых, што жывуць у небе.

Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.

І пры тым дадзена было яму ваяваць супраць святых і перамагчы іх, і дадзена была яму моц над усякім пакаленнем, народам, моваю і племем.

It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every [d]tribe, tongue, and nation.

І паклоняцца яму ўсе, хто жыве на зямлі і чыё імя не запісана ў кнізе жыцця Ягняці, Які быў забіты ад заснавання свету.

All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Хто мае вуха, хай слухае:

If anyone has an ear, let him hear.

«Каму ў палон, той ідзе ў палон. Хто на забіванне мечам, належыць таму прапасці ад меча. Тут, вось, цярплівасць і вера святых».

He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the [e]patience and the faith of the saints.

І ўбачыў я іншага звера, што падымаўся з зямлі, і меў ён двое рагоў, якія падобны да Ягнячых, і гаварыў як дракон.

Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.

І здзяйсняе ён поўную ўладу першага звера на вачах у яго, і прынукае зямлю і яе жыхароў пакланяцца першаму зверу, якога смяротная рана была залечана.

And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

І чыніць ён вялікія знакі, нават агонь зводзіць з неба на зямлю на вачах у людзей.

He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.

І зводзіць жыхароў зямлі знакамі, якія дадзена яму рабіць перад зверам, кажучы жыхарам зямлі, каб рабілі вобраз звера, што меў рану ад меча, але жывы.

And he deceives [f]those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.

І дадзена яму надаць дух вобразу звера, каб гаварыў вобраз звера і каб таго, хто не пакланяўся вобразу звера, забіваць.

He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

І робіць ён, што малыя і вялікія, багатыя і бедныя, вольныя і нявольнікі атрымліваюць меціну на правай руцэ сваёй або на чале сваім,

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,

і ніхто не зможа купляць або прадаваць, хто не будзе мець меціны, або імя звера, або лічбы імя яго.

and that no one may buy or sell except one who has [g]the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Тут трэба мудрасць; хто мае розум, няхай палічыць лічбу звера, бо гэта лічба чалавека, і лічба гэтая — шэсцьсот шэсцьдзясят шэсць.

Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
