Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.

И увидел я новое небо и новую землю; ведь первое небо и первая земля прошли, и моря уже нет.

Then I, [a]John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

И увидел я город святой Иерусалим новый, сходящий с неба от Бога, приготовленный как невеста, украшенная для мужа своего.

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

И услышал я голос громкий от престола, говорящий: — Вот скиния Бога с людьми, и поставит лагерь Свой с ними, и народы Его будут, и Он Бог будет с ними, и будет их Богом,

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

и отрет Бог всякую слезу с глаз их, и смерти уже не будет, и скорби, и крика, и мук не будет, потому что первое прошло.

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said [b]to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

И сказал Сидящий на престоле: — Вот новое творю всё. И говорит: Напиши, потому что эти слова верны и истинны.

And He said to me, “It[c] is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

И сказал мне: — Они осуществились! Я есть Альфа и Омега, начало и конец. Испытывающему жажду дам даром от источника воды живой.

He who overcomes [d]shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

Побеждающий наследует это, и буду ему Богом, а он будет Мне сыном.

But the cowardly, [e]unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Трусливых же и неверных, и оскверненных, и убийц, и блудников, и волшебников, и идолопоклонников, и всех лжецов участь в озере, горящем огнем и серой, которое есть смерть вторая.

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came [f]to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the [g]bride, the Lamb’s wife.”

И пришел один из семи ангелов, имеющих семь чаш, наполненных семью последними бедствиями, и стал говорить со мной, говоря: Иди сюда, я покажу тебе невесту, жену Агнца.

And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the [h]great city, the [i]holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

И понес меня в духе на гору большую и высокую, и показал мне город, святой Иерусалим, сходящий с неба от Бога,

having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.

имеющего славу Божью; свечение его подобно камню драгоценнейшему, как камню яшме кристаллическому;

Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

имеющему стену великую и высокую, имеющему двенадцать ворот, и на воротах двенадцать ангелов, и на них начертаны имена двенадцати колен Израилевых;

three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.

с восточных ворот — трое, с северных ворот — трое, с южных ворот — трое, и с западных ворот — трое,

Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the [j]names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

и стена города имеет двенадцать оснований, и на них двенадцать имен двенадцати апостолов Агнца.

And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.

И говорящий со мною имел мерою как бы золотую трость, чтобы измерять город и ворота его, и стену его.

The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand [k]furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.

И город расположен четырёхугольником, и на сколько длина его, на столько и ширина. И измерил он город тростью на двенадцать тысяч стадий; и длина, и ширина, и высота его равны между собою.

Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.

И измерил он стену его в сто сорок четыре локтя, мерой человека и ангела.

The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.

И материал стены — яшма, и город из золота чистого, подобен чистому стеклу.

The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,

Основания стены города украшены всяким драгоценным камнем: основание первое — яшма, второе — сапфир, третье — халцедон, четвертое — изумруд,

the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.

пятое — сардоникс, шестое — сердолик, седьмое — хризолит, восьмое — берилл, девятое — топаз, десятое — хризопраз, одиннадцатое — гиацинт, двенадцатое — аметист.

The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

А двенадцать ворот — двенадцать жемчужин, каждые из ворот были из одной жемчужины. И улицы города из золота чистого, подобно прозрачному стеклу.

But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

И храма не видел я в нём, потому что Господь Бог Вседержитель — храм его, и Агнец.

The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine [l]in it, for the [m]glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.

И город не имел нужды ни в солнце, ни в луне, чтобы светили ему, потому что слава Божья освещала Его. И светильник его — Агнец.

And the nations [n]of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor [o]into it.

И будут ходить народы во свете его; и цари земные принесут славу в него;

Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there).

и ворота его не будут закрыты ни днем, ни ночью, ведь этого не будет там;

And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into [p]it.

и принесут туда славу и честь народов.

But there shall by no means enter it anything [q]that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

И не войдет в него всякое нечестивец, и творящий мерзость и ложь, которые не записаны в Книге Жизни у Агнца.
