Первое соборное послание святого апостола Иоанна

Всякий верующий, что Иисус есть Христос, от Бога рожден, и всякий, любящий Родившего, любит рожденного от Него.

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.

Мы тогда узнаём, что любим детей Божиих, когда любим Бога и заповеди Его творим,

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.

Ибо это есть любовь к Богу, чтобы мы заповеди Его соблюдали. И заповеди Его не тяжки,

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

потому что всё, рожденное от Бога, побеждает мир. И это есть победа, победившая мир, вера наша.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — [a]our faith.

Кто побеждает мир, как не тот, кто верует, что Иисус есть Сын Божий?

Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Он есть пришедший водою и кровью и Духом, Иисус Христос: не водою только, но водою и кровью; и Дух есть свидетель, потому что Дух есть истина.

This is He who came by water and blood — Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.

Потому что есть три свидетеля,

For there are three that bear witness [b]in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

Дух и вода и кровь, и все три — об одном.

And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.

Если мы принимаем свидетельство людей, то свидетельство Божие — больше, потому, что это есть свидетельство Божие, что Он засвидетельствовал о Сыне Своем,

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of [c]God which He has testified of His Son.

Верующий в Сына Божия имеет свидетельство в себе самом. Не верующий Богу сделал Его лжецом, потому что не уверовал во свидетельство, которым Бог засвидетельствовал о Сыне Своем,

He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.

А свидетельство в том, что Бог дал нам жизнь вечную, и эта жизнь — в Сыне Его.

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

Имеющий Сына имеет жизнь; не имеющий Сына Божия не имеет жизни.

He who has the Son has [d]life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Это написал я вам, верующим во имя Сына Божия, чтобы вы знали, что вы имеете жизнь вечную.

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, [e]and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

А дерзновение, которое мы имеем пред Ним, — в том что, если мы чего просим согласно воле Его, Он слышит нас.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

И если мы знаем, что Он слышит нас, чего бы мы ни просили, мы знаем, что имеем просимое, которое мы испросили у Него.

And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Если кто увидит брата своего согрешающего грехом не к смерти, пусть молится и даст ему жизнь: говорю о согрешающих не к смерти. Есть грех к смерти: не о том грехе говорю, чтобы он молился.

If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that.

Всякая неправда есть грех, но есть грех не к смерти.

All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

Мы знаем, что всякий рожденный от Бога не грешит, но Тот, Кто был рожден от Бога, хранит его, и лукавый не прикасается к нему.

We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps[f] [g]himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

Мы знаем, что мы — от Бога, а мир в целом лежит во власти лукавого.

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

Но мы знаем, что Сын Божий пришел и дал нам разумение, чтобы мы познавали Истинного. И мы — в Истинном, в Сыне Его, Иисусе Христе. Он есть истинный Бог и жизнь вечная.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

Дети, храните себя от идолов.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
