Book of the generation of Jesus Christ, Son of David, Son of Abraham.

Кніга радаводу Ісуса Хрыста, Сына Давідавага, Сына Абрагамавага.

Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob, and Jacob begat Juda and his brethren;

Абрагам спарадзіў Ісагака; а Ісагак спарадзіў Якуба; а Якуб спарадзіў Юду і братоў ягоных;

and Juda begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom, and Esrom begat Aram,

а Юда спарадзіў Хварэса і Зару ад Тамары; а Хварэс спарадзіў Эсрома; а Эсром спарадзіў Арама;

and Aram begat Aminadab, and Aminadab begat Naasson, and Naasson begat Salmon,

а Арам спарадзіў Амінадаба; а Амінадаб спарадзіў Нагасона; а Нагасон спарадзіў Салмона;

and Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse,

а Салмон спарадзіў Багоза ад Рахабы; а Багоз спарадзіў Абіда ад Руты; а Абід спарадзіў Ясэя;

and Jesse begat David the king. And David begat Solomon, of her [that had been the wife] of Urias;

а Ясэй спарадзіў Давіда караля; а Давід кароль спарадзіў Салямона ад Ур’явай;

and Solomon begat Roboam, and Roboam begat Abia, and Abia begat Asa,

а Салямон спарадзіў Рабагама; а Рабагам спарадзіў Абія; а Абія спарадзіў Асу;

and Asa begat Josaphat, and Josaphat begat Joram, and Joram begat Ozias,

а Аса спарадзіў Ясахвата; а Ясахват спарадзіў Ярама; а Ярам спарадзіў Азíю;

and Ozias begat Joatham, and Joatham begat Achaz, and Achaz begat Ezekias,

а Азíя спарадзіў Яхвама; а Яхвам спарадзіў Ахаза; а Ахаз спарадзіў Язэкію;

and Ezekias begat Manasses, and Manasses begat Amon, and Amon begat Josias,

а Язэкія спарадзіў Манасію; а Манасія спарадзіў Амона; а Амон спарадзіў Ёсію;

and Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, at the time of the carrying away of Babylon.

а Ёсія спарадзіў (Якіма, а Якім спарадзіў) Яхоньню і братоў ягоных, перад перасяленьнем у Бабілён;

And after the carrying away of Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel, and Salathiel begat Zorobabel,

Пасьля ж перасяленьня ў Бабілён Яхоньня спарадзіў Салятыіля, а Салятыіль спарадзіў Зарабабеля;

and Zorobabel begat Abiud, and Abiud begat Eliakim, and Eliakim begat Azor,

а Зарабабель спарадзіў Абівуда; а Абівуд спарадзіў Ялівакіма; а Ялівакім спарадзіў Азора;

and Azor begat Sadoc, and Sadoc begat Achim, and Achim begat Eliud,

а Азор спарадзіў Садока; а Садок спарадзіў Ахіма; а Ахім спарадзіў Яліву́да;

and Eliud begat Eliazar, and Eliazar begat Matthan, and Matthan begat Jacob,

а Ялівуд спарадзіў Яліазара; а Яліазар спарадзіў Маттана; а Маттан спарадзіў Якуба;

and Jacob begat Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

а Якуб спарадзіў Язэпа, мужа Марылі, ад каторай народжаны Ісус, называны Хрыстос;

All the generations, therefore, from Abraham to David [were] fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away of Babylon, fourteen generations; and from the carrying away of Babylon unto the Christ, fourteen generations.

Гэтак усіх радоў ад Абрагама да Давіда чатырнаццаць радоў; і ад Давіда да перасяленьня ў Бабілён чатырнаццаць радоў; і ад перасяленьня ў Бабілён да Хрыста чатырнаццаць радоў;

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was thus: His mother, Mary, that is, having been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be with child of [the] Holy Spirit.

Нараджэньне ж Ісуса Хрыста было так: па заручынах маткі Ягонай Марылі зь Язэпам, раней, чым яны сыйшліся, выявілася, (што яна) мае ў чэраве ад Духа Сьвятога.

But Joseph, her husband, being [a] righteous [man], and unwilling to expose her publicly, purposed to have put her away secretly;

А Язэп, муж ейны, будучы праведным і ня хочучы зьняславіць яе, хацеў употай адпусьціць яе.

but while he pondered on these things, behold, an angel of [the] Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, fear not to take to [thee] Mary, thy wife, for that which is begotten in her is of [the] Holy Spirit.

Але калі ён падумаў гэтае, вось Ангел Госпадаў зьявіўся яму ўва сьне (і) сказаў: Язэпе, сыне Давідаў! ня бойся прыняць Марылю, жонку тваю, бо зачатае ў ёй ёсьць ад Духа Сьвятога;

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins.

і народзіць Сына, і дасі Яму Імя: Ісус, бо Ён уратуе людзей Сваіх ад грахоў іхных.

Now all this came to pass that that might be fulfilled which was spoken by [the] Lord, through the prophet, saying,

А ўсё гэтае здарылася, каб споўнілася сказанае Госпадам праз Прарока, які кажа:

Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which is, being interpreted, 'God with us.'

вось дзева прыйме ў чэраве і народзіць Сына; і дадуць Яму Імя Эмануіль, што значыць: з намі Бог. (Гісая 7:14).

But Joseph, having awoke up from his sleep, did as the angel of [the] Lord had enjoined him, and took to [him] his wife,

Устаўшы ж зо-сну, Язэп зрабіў як загадаў яму Ангел Гасподні, і прыняў жонку сваю,

and knew her not until she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.

і ня знаў яе, ажно нарадзіла Сына свайго Першароднага, і ён даў Яму Імя: Ісус.
