Cainan, Mahalalel, Jared,

Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech,

Noah,[a] Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

Сыны Яфэта: Гамэр, Магог, Мадай, Яван, Туваль, Мэшэх і Тырас.

The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, [b]Diphath, and Togarmah.

Сыны Гамэра: Ашкеназ, Рыфат і Тагарма.

The sons of Javan were Elishah, [c]Tarshishah, Kittim, and [d]Rodanim.

Сыны Явана: Эліша, Таршыш, Кіттым і Раданім.

The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

Сыны Хама: Куш, Міцраім, Пут і Ханаан.

The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, [e]Sabta, [f]Raama, and Sabtecha. The sons of Raama were Sheba and Dedan.

Сыны Куша: Сэва, Хавіля, Саўта, Раама і Саўтэха. А сыны Раамы: Шэва і Дэдан.

Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.

Куш нарадзіў Німрода; ён пачаў быць магутным на зямлі.

Mizraim begot Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim,

А Міцраім нарадзіў Людыма, Анаміма, Легавіма, Нафтухіма,

Pathrusim, Casluhim (from whom came the Philistines and the Caphtorim).

Патрусіма і Касьлюхіма, ад якіх паходзяць Філістынцы, і Кафторыма.

Canaan begot Sidon, his firstborn, and Heth;

А Ханаан нарадзіў Сідона, першароднага свайго, Хета,

the Jebusite, the Amorite, and the Girgashite;

Евусэя, Амарэя, Гіргашэя,

the Hivite, the Arkite, and the Sinite;

Хівея, Аркея, Сінэя,

the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

Арвадэя, Цэмарэя і Хаматэя.

The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Gether, and [g]Meshech.

Сыны Сэма: Элям, Асур, Арпахшад, Люд, Арам, Уц, Хуль, Гетэр і Мэшэх.

Arphaxad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.

Арпахшад нарадзіў Шэляха, а Шэлях нарадзіў Эвэра.

To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was [h]Peleg, for in his days the [i]earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

У Эвэра нарадзіліся два сыны: імя аднаго Пэлег, бо ў дні ягоныя разьдзялілася зямля; а імя брата ягонага — Ёктан.

Joktan begot Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

Ёктан нарадзіў Альмадада, Шалефа, Хацармавэта, Яраха,

Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,

Гадарама, Узаля, Дыклю,

[j]Ebal, Abimael, Sheba,

Аваля, Авімаэля, Шэву,

Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

Афіра, Хавілю і Ёвава. Гэтыя ўсе — сыны Ёктана.

Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

Сэм, Арпахшад, Шэлях,

Eber, Peleg, Reu,

Эвэр, Пэлег, Рэву,

Serug, Nahor, Terah,

and Abram, who is Abraham.

Абрам, ён жа Абрагам.

The sons of Abraham were Isaac and Ishmael.

Сыны Абрагама: Ісаак і Ізмаэль.

These are their genealogies: The firstborn of Ishmael was Nebajoth; then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

Вось радавод іхні: першародны Ізмаэля Наваёт, Кедар, Адбээль, Міўсам,

Mishma, Dumah, Massa, [k]Hadad, Tema,

Мішма, Дума, Маса, Хадад, Тэма,

Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These were the sons of Ishmael.

Етур, Нафіш і Кедма. Гэта сыны Ізмаэля.

Now the sons born to Keturah, Abraham’s concubine, were Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan were Sheba and Dedan.

[Вось] сыны Кетуры, наложніцы Абрагама; яна нарадзіла Зімрана, Ёкшана, Мэдана, Мадыяна, Ішбака і Шуаха. А сыны Ёкшана: Шэва і Дэдан.

The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

Сыны Мадыяна: Эфа, Этэр, Ханох, Авіда і Эльдаа. Гэтыя ўсе — сыны Кетуры.

And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac were Esau and Israel.

І нарадзіў Абрагам Ісаака. Сыны Ісаака: Эзаў і Ізраіль.

The sons of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jaalam, and Korah.

Сыны Эзава: Эліфаз, Рэўэль, Еуш, Ялам і Карах.

And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, [l]Zephi, Gatam, and Kenaz; and by Timna, Amalek.

Сыны Эліфаза: Тэман, Амар, Цэфо, Гатам, Кеназ, Тымна і Амалек.

The sons of Reuel were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

Сыны Рэўэля: Нахат, Зэрах, Шамма і Міза.

The sons of Seir were Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.

А сыны Сэіра: Лётан, Шаваль, Цывеон, Ана, Дышон, Эцэр і Дышан.

And the sons of Lotan were Hori and [m]Homam; Lotan’s sister was Timna.

Сыны Лётана: Хоры і Гамам; і сястра Лётана — Тымна.

The sons of Shobal were [n]Alian, Manahath, Ebal, [o]Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon were Ajah and Anah.

Сыны Шаваля: Алян, Манахат, Эваль, Шэфі і Анам. А сыны Цывеона: Ая і Ана.

The son of Anah was Dishon. The sons of Dishon were [p]Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.

Сыны Аны: Дышон. А сыны Дышона: Хамран, Эшбан, Ітран і Херан.

The sons of Ezer were Bilhan, Zaavan, and [q]Jaakan. The sons of Dishan were Uz and Aran.

Сыны Эцэра: Більган, Зааван і Яакан. Сыны Дышана: Уц і Аран.

Now these were the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before a king reigned over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor, and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

І вось валадары, якія валадарылі ў зямлі Эдом, раней за валадараньне валадароў у Ізраілі: Бэла, сын Бэора, і імя гораду ягонага — Дынгава.

And when Bela died, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.

І памёр Бэла, і валадарыў пасьля яго Ёваў, сын Зэраха, з Боцры.

When Jobab died, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.

І памёр Ёваў, і валадарыў пасьля яго Хушам, з зямлі Тэман.

And when Husham died, Hadad the son of Bedad, who [r]attacked Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place. The name of his city was Avith.

І памёр Хушам, і валадарыў пасьля яго Гадад, сын Бэдада, які пабіў Мадыянцаў на полі Мааўскім; імя гораду ягонага — Авіт.

When Hadad died, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.

І памёр Гадад, і валадарыў пасьля яго Самла з Масрэкі.

And when Samlah died, Saul of Rehoboth-by-the-River reigned in his place.

І памёр Самла, і валадарыў пасьля яго Шауль з Рэхавоту, што каля ракі.

When Saul died, Baal-Hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place.

І памёр Шауль, і валадарыў пасьля яго Баал-Ханан, сын Ахбора.

And when Baal-Hanan died, [s]Hadad reigned in his place; and the name of his city was [t]Pai. His wife’s name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

І памёр Баал-Ханан, і валадарыў пасьля яго Гадад; і імя гораду ягонага — Паі; імя жонкі ягонай — Мэгетабэль, дачка Матрэды, дачкі Мэзагавы.

Hadad died also. And the chiefs of Edom were Chief Timnah, Chief [u]Aliah, Chief Jetheth,

І памёр Гадад. І былі князі ў Эдома: князь Тымна, князь Альва, князь Етэт,

Chief Aholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon,

князь Агалівама, князь Эля, князь Пінон,

Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar,

князь Кеназ, князь Тэман, князь Міўцар,

Chief Magdiel, and Chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.

князь Магдыэль, князь Ірам. Гэта князі Эдому.
