To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

Боже, услышь меня, жалобу мою, от угроз врагов убереги.

Hear my voice, O God, in my [a]meditation; Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

Спрячь от заговорщиков, от шумной, одержимой злобою толпы.

Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity,

Их слова смертельны, словно стрелы, точат языки острей мечей.

Who sharpen their tongue like a sword, And bend their bows to shoot their arrows — bitter words,

Из засад они в невинных метят, неожиданно, без страха бьют.

That they may shoot in secret at the blameless; Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.

В планах злых они, единодушны, расставляя западни свои, говорят: "Никто не увидит".

They encourage themselves in an evil matter; They talk of laying snares secretly; They say, “Who will see them?”

Злом и вероломством одержимы, говорят: "Вот план отличный".

They devise iniquities: “We have perfected a shrewd scheme.” Both the inward thought and the heart of man are deep.

Но Господь их поразит стрелами в миг, когда они совсем не ждут.

But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; Suddenly they shall be wounded.

Сказанное ими повернёт Он против них же. Все осудят их, и отвернутся.

So He will make them stumble over their own tongue; All who see them shall flee away.

Будет человечество во страхе говорить друг другу о делах Господних, и начнут тогда они размышлять о Нём.

All men shall fear, And shall declare the work of God; For they shall wisely consider His doing.

Пусть найдут спасение и радость праведники в Господе своём.

The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in Him. And all the upright in heart shall glory.
