Дети, повинуйтесь родителям — это хорошо перед Господом.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

«Почитай отца и мать» — первая заповедь с обещанием:

HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER (which is the first commandment with a promise),

«И тогда будет тебе во всем удача и долгая жизнь на земле».

SO THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, AND THAT YOU MAY LIVE LONG ON THE EARTH.

И вы, отцы, растите и воспитывайте детей, как велит Господь. Пусть ваше наставление не будет им досадой.

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Рабы, повинуйтесь своим господам на земле со страхом и трепетом, в сердечной простоте, как Христу,

Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ;

И не с показной угодливостью льстецов, а как рабы Христовы, со всей душой исполняющие Божью волю.

not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.

Служите по совести, как если бы Господу, а не человеку.

With good will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men,

Помните, что каждому, кто сотворит добро, вернется соразмерно от Господа, рабу или свободному.

knowing that whatever good thing each one does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether slave or free.

И вы, господа, со своей стороны делайте то же самое. Откажитесь от мер устрашения. Помните, что на небесах Господь беспристрастный есть и у вас.

And masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

Наконец, братья, черпайте силу в Господе, в Его могуществе.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.

Берите на вооружение Божий доспех, тогда будете успешно противостоять козням Дьявола.

Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Мы сражаемся не против людей, живущих на земле, а против начал, против властей, против державных повелителей тьмы века сего, против духов злобы поднебесной.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Возьмите на вооружение Божий доспех, он поможет вам крепко держаться в окаянный день и, все преодолев, выстоять.

Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.

Встаньте же, повяжитесь поясом. Истина — ваш пояс, праведность — кольчуга,

Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS,

Готовность идти с евангельской вестью о мире — сандалии.

and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE;

Вдобавок заслонитесь щитом веры, способным гасить зажигательные снаряды Окаянного.

in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Есть у вас и шлем спасения, и от Духа меч — Слово Божье.

And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Когда молитесь, молитву и прошение всегда согласуйте с Духом. Никогда не забывайте находить время для предстояний за весь святой народ.

With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,

Молитесь и за меня, чтобы дано было мне вдохновенной речью из моих уст бесстрашно открывать тайну евангелия:

and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,

Ему я посол в узах и не могу не проповедовать. Молитесь о бесстрашии моего слова.

for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

А о моих обстоятельствах и трудах, чтобы и вы о них знали, расскажет вам подробно Тихик, близкий мне брат и верный служитель Господа.

But that you also may know about my circumstances, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make everything known to you.

Я именно с тем и послал его, чтобы он известил вас обо мне и порадовал ваши сердца.

I have sent him to you for this very purpose, so that you may know about us, and that he may comfort your hearts.

Мир братьям, любовь и вера от Бога Отца и Господа Иисуса Христа!

Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Благодать да будет со всеми, кто безгранично любит Господа нашего Иисуса Христа!

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love.
