Дети, повинуйтесь в Господе родителям вашим, ибо это справедливо.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

Почитай отца и мать — это есть первая заповедь с обещанием, —

HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER (which is the first commandment with a promise),

чтобы тебе было хорошо и был ты долголетен на земле.

SO THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, AND THAT YOU MAY LIVE LONG ON THE EARTH.

И вы, отцы, не раздражайте детей ваших, но воспитывайте их в учении и наставлении Господнем.

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Рабы, повинуйтесь господам своим по плоти со страхом и трепетом в простоте сердца вашего, как Христу,

Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ;

не с показной услужливостью, как человекоугодники, но как рабы Христовы, исполняя волю Божию от души,

not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.

служа с усердием, как Господу, а не как людям,

With good will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men,

зная, что каждый, если, что сотворит доброе, то и получит обратно от Господа, будь то раб, будь то свободный.

knowing that whatever good thing each one does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether slave or free.

И вы, господа, поступайте с ними так же, отложив угрозы, зная, что и у вас есть Господин на небесах и нет у Него лицеприятия.

And masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

Наконец, укрепляйтесь в Господе и в могуществе силы Его;

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.

облекитесь во всеоружие Божие, чтобы могли вы противостать козням диавола,

Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

потому что борьба у нас не против крови и плоти, но против начал, против властей, против повелителей этого мира тьмы, против злых духов на небесах.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Поэтому возьмите всеоружие Божие, чтобы могли вы оказать сопротивление в день злой и, всё преодолев, устоять.

Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.

Итак стойте, опоясав чресла ваши истиной, и облекшись в броню праведности,

Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS,

и обув ноги в готовность благовествовать мир;

and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE;

при всём том взяв щит веры, которым мы сможете угасить все раскалённые стрелы лукавого;

in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

и шлем спасения возьмите, и меч Духа, что есть слово Божие.

And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Всякой молитвой и прошением молитесь во всякое время в Духе, и для этого бодрствуйте со всяким постоянством и молением о всех святых

With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,

и о мне, чтобы дано мне было слово, открытыми устами дерзновенно поведать тайну Евангелия,

and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,

ради которой я несу посольство в узах, чтобы я возвестил её с дерзновением, как должно мне возвестить.

for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

А чтобы и вы знали о том, что касается меня, как мои дела, — всё расскажет вам Тихик, возлюбленный брат и верный служитель в Господе,

But that you also may know about my circumstances, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make everything known to you.

которого я для того именно посылаю к вам, чтобы вы узнали о наших обстоятельствах, и чтобы он утешил сердца ваши.

I have sent him to you for this very purpose, so that you may know about us, and that he may comfort your hearts.

Мир братьям и любовь с верою от Бога Отца и Господа Иисуса Христа.

Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Благодать со всеми любящими Господа нашего Иисуса Христа нерушимо.

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love.
