Братолюбие — вот что должно быть у вас.

Let brotherly love abide.

Не пренебрегайте гостями: у иных гостеприимных хозяев побывали, как оказалось, и ангелы.

Be not forgetful of hospitality; for by it some have unawares entertained angels.

Не забывайте заключенных, словно и вы с ними в заключении, и страдальцев, ведь и у вас есть тело.

Remember prisoners, as bound with [them]; those that are evil-treated, as being yourselves also in [the] body.

Брак всегда достоин почета, и ложе должно быть непорочно, а развратников и распутников судить будет Бог.

[Let] marriage [be held] every way in honour, and the bed [be] undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers will God judge.

Не пристало вам любить деньги, довольствуйтесь тем, что есть. Ведь сам Бог сказал: «Нет, не оставлю тебя и не покину!»

[Let your] conversation [be] without love of money, satisfied with [your] present circumstances; for he has said, I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee.

Так что с уверенностью мы говорим: «Господь мне помощник, страшиться не стану — что сделает мне человек?»

So that, taking courage, we may say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not be afraid: what will man do unto me?

Помните наставников ваших, которые возвестили вам слово Божье. Подражайте их вере, вспоминая, как завершилась их жизнь.

Remember your leaders who have spoken to you the word of God; and considering the issue of their conversation, imitate their faith.

Иисус Христос вчера, сегодня и во веки — Тот же!

Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday, and to-day, and to the ages [to come].

Не увлекайтесь различными чужими учениями: сердце лучше укрепляется благодатью, нежели разборчивостью в еде — все старания о ней бесполезны.

Be not carried away with various and strange doctrines; for [it is] good that the heart be confirmed with grace, not meats; those who have walked in which have not been profited by [them].

У нас свой жертвенник, и есть пищу с него служители скинии не имеют права.

We have an altar of which they have no right to eat who serve the tabernacle;

Когда приносят животных в жертву за грех, то кровь их вносится первосвященником в святилище, а тела сжигаются вне стана.

for of those beasts whose blood is carried [as sacrifices for sin] into the [holy of] holies by the high priest, of these the bodies are burned outside the camp.

Потому и Иисус, чтобы освятить Своей кровью народ, пострадал за стенами города.

Wherefore also Jesus, that he might sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered without the gate:

Так выйдем же и мы к Нему за пределы стана, приняв на себя Его позор!

therefore let us go forth to him without the camp, bearing his reproach:

Нет у нас здесь своего города — мы ожидаем грядущего.

for we have not here an abiding city, but we seek the coming one.

И будем через Иисуса постоянно приносить Богу жертву хвалы — если исповедуешь Его имя, именно она рождается на устах!

By him therefore let us offer [the] sacrifice of praise continually to God, that is, [the] fruit of [the] lips confessing his name.

Не забывайте благотворительности и общения — именно такие жертвы угодны Богу.

But of doing good and communicating [of your substance] be not forgetful, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Повинуйтесь и подчиняйтесь наставникам — они неусыпно несут Божье слово ради душ ваших. Пусть трудятся с радостью, а не со стонами — иначе их труд не пойдет вам на пользу.

Obey your leaders, and be submissive; for they watch over your souls as those that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not groaning, for this [would be] unprofitable for you.

Молитесь о нас. Мы убеждены в чистоте нашей совести и стараемся вести себя во всех отношениях достойно.

Pray for us: for we persuade ourselves that we have a good conscience, in all things desirous to walk rightly.

В особенности же прошу вас молиться о том, чтобы мне поскорее было дано вернуться к вам.

But I much more beseech [you] to do this, that I may the more quickly be restored to you.

Бог дарует нам мир, Он воскресил из мертвых великого Пастыря овец, Который Своей кровью заключил завет вечный — Господа нашего Иисуса Христа.

But the God of peace, who brought again from among [the] dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, in [the power of the] blood of [the] eternal covenant,

Пусть наделит Он вас всякими благами, чтобы вы творили Его волю, пусть совершит с нами, что Ему угодно, через Иисуса Христа — Ему слава во веки веков, аминь!

perfect you in every good work to the doing of his will, doing in you what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for the ages of ages. Amen.

Прошу вас, братья, принять это мое краткое наставление, которое я отправил вам.

But I beseech you, brethren, bear the word of exhortation, for it is but in few words that I have written to you.

Знайте, что брат ваш Тимофей освобожден, и, если он вскоре придет, я повидаюсь и с ним, и с вами.

Know that our brother Timotheus is set at liberty; with whom, if he should come soon, I will see you.

Приветствуйте всех ваших наставников и весь святой Божий народ. Приветствуют вас все, кто из Италии.

Salute all your leaders, and all the saints. They from Italy salute you.

Благодать со всеми вами!

Grace [be] with you all. Amen.
