Кто поверил слышанному от нас, и кому открылась мышца Господня?

Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

Ибо Он взошёл пред Ним, как отпрыск и как росток из сухой земли; нет в Нём ни вида, ни величия; и мы видели Его, и не было в Нём вида, который привлекал бы нас к Нему.

He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

Он был презрен и умалён пред людьми, муж скорбей и изведавший болезни, и мы отвращали от Него лицо своё; Он был презираем, и мы ни во что ставили Его.

He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

Но Он взял на Себя наши немощи и понёс наши болезни; а мы думали, что Он был поражаем, наказуем и уничижён Богом.

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.

Но Он изъязвлён был за грехи наши и мучим за беззакония наши; наказание мира нашего было на Нём, и ранами Его мы исцелились.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Все мы блуждали, как овцы, совратились каждый на свою дорогу: и Господь возложил на Него грехи всех нас.

We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Он истязуем был, но страдал добровольно и не открывал уст Своих; как овца, ведён был Он на заклание, и как агнец пред стригущим его безгласен, так Он не отверзал уст Своих.

He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.

От уз и суда Он был взят; но род Его кто изъяснит? ибо Он отторгнут от земли живых; за преступления народа Моего претерпел казнь.

By oppressiona and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished.b

Ему назначали гроб со злодеями, но Он погребён у богатого, потому что не сделал греха, и не было лжи в устах Его.

He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.

Но Господу угодно было поразить Его, и Он предал Его мучению; когда же душа Его принесёт жертву умилостивления, Он узрит потомство долговечное, и воля Господня благоуспешно будет исполняться рукою Его.

Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makesc his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.

На подвиг души Своей Он будет смотреть с довольством; через познание Его Он, Праведник, Раб Мой, оправдает многих и грехи их на Себе понесёт.

After he has suffered, he will see the light of lifed and be satisfiede; by his knowledgef my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.

Посему Я дам Ему часть между великими, и с сильными будет делить добычу, за то, что предал душу Свою на смерть, и к злодеям причтён был, тогда как Он понёс на Себе грех многих и за преступников сделался ходатаем.

Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,g and he will divide the spoils with the strong,h because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
