Как смеет кто у вас, имея тяжбу с другим, судиться у неправедных, а не у святых?

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

Или вы не знаете, что святые будут судить мир? И если вами судится мир, неужели вы недостойны выносить суд в делах гораздо меньших?

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Не знаете ли вы, что мы будем судить ангелов? Не тем ли более дела житейские?

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Итак, если вы судитесь по делам житейским, то непризнаваемых церковью — вот кого вы садите судьями.

If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

К стыду вашему говорю. Значит нет среди вас ни одного мудрого, который мог бы рассудить между братьями своими.

I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

Но брат с братом судится, и притом у неверных.

But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

Во всяком случае, уже то — поражение для вас, что вы имеете судебные дела между собою. Почему не предпочитаете вы терпеть обиду? Почему не предпочитаете вы, чтобы вас обирали?

Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

Но вы обижаете и обираете, и притом братьев.

Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.

Или вы не знаете, что неправедные Божьего Царства не наследуют? Не заблуждайтесь: ни блудники, ни идолослужители, ни прелюбодеи, ни рукоблудники, ни мужеложники,

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

ни воры, ни любостяжатели, ни пьяницы, ни хулители, ни грабители — Царства Божия не наследуют,

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

И такими были некоторые из вас; но омылись, но были освящены, но были оправданы именем Господа Иисуса Христа и Духом Бога нашего.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Всё мне позволено, но не всё на пользу. Всё мне позволено, но ничто да не обладает мною.

All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

Пища для чрева и чрево для пищи. А Бог и то и другое упразднит. Тело же не для блуда, но для Господа, и Господь для тела.

Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

А Бог и Господа воздвиг и нас воздвигнет силой Своей.

And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

Разве вы не знаете, что тела ваши — члены Христовы. Итак, взяв члены у Христа, сделаю ли их членами блудницы? Отнюдь нет.

Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

Или вы не знаете, что прилепляющийся к блуднице — с нею одно тело? Ибо сказано: будут двое плотью единою.

What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

А прилепляющийся к Господу — один с Ним дух.

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Бегайте блуда. Всякий грех, какой ни сотворит человек, — вне тела: а совершающий блуд, грешит против собственного тела.

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

Или вы не знаете, что тело ваше есть храм Святого Духа, Который в вас. Которого вы имеете от Бога, и что вы себе не принадлежите?

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Ибо вы были куплены дорого. Прославьте же Бога в теле вашем.

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
