The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying,

Сло́во, кото́рое бы́ло к Иереми́и от Го́спода во дни Иоаки́ма, сы́на Ио́сии, царя́ Иуде́йского:

“Go to the house of the Rechabites, speak to them, and bring them into the house of the Lord, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.”

иди́ в дом Рехави́тов и поговори́ с ни́ми, и приведи́ их в дом Госпо́день, в одну́ из ко́мнат, и дай им пить вина́.

Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habazziniah, his brothers and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites,

Я взял Иаза́нию, сы́на Иереми́и, сы́на Аваци́нии, и бра́тьев его́, и всех сынове́й его́ и весь дом Рехави́тов,

and I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the [a]door.

и привёл их в дом Госпо́день, в ко́мнату сыно́в Ана́на, сы́на Годо́лии, челове́ка Бо́жия, кото́рая по́дле ко́мнаты князе́й, над ко́мнатою Маа́сеи, сы́на Селлу́мова, стра́жа у вхо́да;

Then I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites bowls full of wine, and cups; and I said to them, “Drink wine.”

и поста́вил пе́ред сына́ми до́ма Рехави́тов по́лные ча́ши вина́ и стака́ны и сказа́л им: пе́йте вино́.

But they said, “We will drink no wine, for Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, commanded us, saying, ‘You shall drink no wine, you nor your sons, forever.

Но они́ сказа́ли: мы вина́ не пьём; потому́ что Ионада́в, сын Реха́ва, оте́ц наш, дал нам за́поведь, сказа́в: «не пе́йте вина́ ни вы, ни де́ти ва́ши вове́ки;

You shall not build a house, sow seed, plant a vineyard, nor have any of these; but all your days you shall dwell in tents, that you may live many days in the land where you are sojourners.’

и домо́в не стро́йте, и семя́н не се́йте, и виногра́дников не разводи́те и не име́йте их, но живи́те в шатра́х во все дни жи́зни ва́шей, что́бы вам до́лгое вре́мя прожи́ть на той земле́, где вы стра́нниками».

Thus we have obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, in all that he charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, or our daughters,

И мы послу́шались го́лоса Ионада́ва, сы́на Реха́вова, отца́ на́шего, во всём, что он завеща́л нам, что́бы не пить вина́ во все дни на́ши, — мы и жёны на́ши, и сыновья́ на́ши и до́чери на́ши, —

nor to build ourselves houses to dwell in; nor do we have vineyard, field, or seed.

и что́бы не стро́ить домо́в для жи́тельства на́шего; и у нас нет ни виногра́дников, ни поле́й, ни посе́ва;

But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

а живём в шатра́х и во всём слу́шаемся и де́лаем всё, что запове́дал нам Ионада́в, оте́ц наш.

But it came to pass, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, ‘Come, let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans and for fear of the army of the Syrians.’ So we dwell at Jerusalem.”

Когда́ же Навуходоно́сор, царь Вавило́нский, пришёл в зе́млю сию́, мы сказа́ли: «пойдём, уйдём в Иерусали́м от во́йска Халде́ев и от во́йска Араме́ев», и вот, мы живём в Иерусали́ме.

Then came the word of the Lord to Jeremiah, saying,

И бы́ло сло́во Госпо́дне к Иереми́и:

“Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, “Will you not receive instruction to [b]obey My words?” says the Lord.

так говори́т Госпо́дь Савао́ф, Бог Изра́илев: иди́ и скажи́ мужа́м Иу́ды и жи́телям Иерусали́ма: неуже́ли вы не возьмёте из э́того наставле́ние для себя́, что́бы слу́шаться слов Мои́х? говори́т Госпо́дь.

“The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, which he commanded his sons, not to drink wine, are performed; for to this day they drink none, and obey their father’s commandment. But although I have spoken to you, rising early and speaking, you did not [c]obey Me.

Слова́ Ионада́ва, сы́на Реха́вова, кото́рый завеща́л сыновья́м свои́м не пить вина́, выполня́ются, и они́ не пьют до сего́ дня, потому́ что слу́шаются завеща́ния отца́ своего́; а Я непреста́нно говори́л вам, говори́л с ра́ннего утра́, и вы не послу́шались Меня́.

I have also sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, ‘Turn now everyone from his evil way, amend your doings, and do not go after other gods to serve them; then you will dwell in the land which I have given you and your fathers.’ But you have not inclined your ear, nor obeyed Me.

Я посыла́л к вам всех рабо́в Мои́х, проро́ков, посыла́л с ра́ннего утра́, и говори́л: «обрати́тесь ка́ждый от зло́го пути́ своего́ и испра́вьте поведе́ние ва́ше, и не ходи́те восле́д ины́х бого́в, что́бы служи́ть им; и бу́дете жить на э́той земле́, кото́рую Я дал вам и отца́м ва́шим»; но вы не приклони́ли у́ха своего́ и не послу́шались Меня́.

Surely the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them, but this people has not obeyed Me.” ’

Так как сыновья́ Ионада́ва, сы́на Реха́вова, выполня́ют за́поведь отца́ своего́, кото́рую он запове́дал им, а наро́д сей не слу́шает Меня́,

“Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Behold, I will bring on Judah and on all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the doom that I have pronounced against them; because I have spoken to them but they have not heard, and I have called to them but they have not answered.’ ”

посему́, так говори́т Госпо́дь Бог Савао́ф, Бог Изра́илев: вот, Я наведу́ на Иуде́ю и на всех жи́телей Иерусали́ма всё то зло, кото́рое Я изрёк на них, потому́ что Я говори́л им, а они́ не слу́шались, звал их, а они́ не отвеча́ли.

And Jeremiah said to the house of the Rechabites, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Because you have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts and done according to all that he commanded you,

А до́му Рехави́тов сказа́л Иереми́я: так говори́т Госпо́дь Савао́ф, Бог Изра́илев: за то, что вы послу́шались завеща́ния Ионада́ва, отца́ ва́шего, и храни́те все за́поведи его́ и во всём поступа́ете, как он завеща́л вам, —

therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not lack a man to stand before Me forever.” ’ ”

за то, так говори́т Госпо́дь Савао́ф, Бог Изра́илев: не отни́мется у Ионада́ва, сы́на Реха́вова, муж, предстоя́щий пред лицо́м Мои́м во все дни.
