The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

Сло́во, кото́рое бы́ло к Иереми́и от Го́спода:

“Thus speaks the Lord God of Israel, saying: ‘Write in a book for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you.

так говори́т Госпо́дь, Бог Изра́илев: напиши́ себе́ все слова́, кото́рые Я говори́л тебе́, в кни́гу.

For behold, the days are coming,’ says the Lord, ‘that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah,’ says the Lord. ‘And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.’ ”

И́бо вот, наступа́ют дни, говори́т Госпо́дь, когда́ Я возвращу́ из пле́на наро́д Мой, Изра́иля и Иу́ду, говори́т Госпо́дь; и приведу́ их опя́ть в ту зе́млю, кото́рую дал отца́м их, и они́ бу́дут владе́ть е́ю.

Now these are the words that the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah.

И вот те слова́, кото́рые сказа́л Госпо́дь об Изра́иле и Иу́де.

“For thus says the Lord: ‘We have heard a voice of trembling, Of [a]fear, and not of peace.

Так сказа́л Госпо́дь: го́лос смяте́ния и у́жаса слы́шим мы, а не ми́ра.

Ask now, and see, Whether a [b]man is ever in [c]labor with child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins Like a woman in labor, And all faces turned pale?

Спроси́те и рассуди́те: рожда́ет ли мужчи́на? Почему́ же Я ви́жу у ка́ждого мужчи́ны ру́ки на чре́слах его́, как у же́нщины в ро́дах, и ли́ца у всех бле́дные?

Alas! For that day is great, So that none is like it; And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble, But he shall be saved out of it.

О, го́ре! вели́к тот день, не́ бы́ло подо́бного ему́; э́то — бе́дственное вре́мя для Иа́кова, но он бу́дет спасён от него́.

‘For it shall come to pass in that day,’ Says the Lord of hosts, ‘That I will break his yoke from your neck, And will burst your bonds; Foreigners shall no more enslave them.

И бу́дет в тот день, говори́т Госпо́дь Савао́ф: сокрушу́ ярмо́ его́, кото́рое на вы́е твое́й, и у́зы твои́ разорву́; и не бу́дут уже́ служи́ть чужезе́мцам,

But they shall serve the Lord their God, And David their king, Whom I will raise up for them.

но бу́дут служи́ть Го́споду Бо́гу своему́ и Дави́ду, царю́ своему́, кото́рого Я восстановлю́ им.

‘Therefore do not fear, O My servant Jacob,’ says the Lord, ‘Nor be dismayed, O Israel; For behold, I will save you from afar, And your seed from the land of their captivity. Jacob shall return, have rest and be quiet, And no one shall make him afraid.

И ты, раб Мой Иа́ков, не бо́йся, говори́т Госпо́дь, и не страши́сь, Изра́иль; и́бо вот, Я спасу́ тебя́ из далёкой страны́ и пле́мя твоё из земли́ плене́ния их; и возврати́тся Иа́ков и бу́дет жить споко́йно и ми́рно, и никто́ не бу́дет устраша́ть его́,

For I am with you,’ says the Lord, ‘to save you; Though I make a full end of all nations where I have scattered you, Yet I will not make a complete end of you. But I will correct you in justice, And will not let you go altogether unpunished.’

и́бо Я с тобо́ю, говори́т Госпо́дь, что́бы спаса́ть тебя́: Я соверше́нно истреблю́ все наро́ды, среди́ кото́рых рассе́ял тебя́, а тебя́ не истреблю́; Я бу́ду нака́зывать тебя́ в ме́ре, но ненака́занным не оста́влю тебя́.

“For thus says the Lord: ‘Your affliction is incurable, Your wound is severe.

И́бо так говори́т Госпо́дь: ра́на твоя́ неисце́льна, я́зва твоя́ жесто́ка;

There is no one to plead your cause, That you may be bound up; You have no healing medicines.

никто́ не забо́тится о де́ле твоём, что́бы заживи́ть ра́ну твою́; целе́бного врачевства́ нет для тебя́;

All your lovers have forgotten you; They do not seek you; For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, With the chastisement of a cruel one, For the multitude of your iniquities, Because your sins have increased.

все друзья́ твои́ забы́ли тебя́, не и́щут тебя́; и́бо Я порази́л тебя́ уда́рами неприя́тельскими, жесто́ким наказа́нием за мно́жество беззако́ний твои́х, потому́ что грехи́ твои́ умно́жились.

Why do you cry about your affliction? Your sorrow is incurable. Because of the multitude of your iniquities, Because your sins have increased, I have done these things to you.

Что вопиёшь ты о ра́нах твои́х, о жесто́кости боле́зни твое́й? по мно́жеству беззако́ний твои́х Я сде́лал тебе́ э́то, потому́ что грехи́ твои́ умно́жились.

‘Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured; And all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; Those who plunder you shall become plunder, And all who prey upon you I will make a prey.

Но все пожира́ющие тебя́ бу́дут по́жраны; и все враги́ твои́, все са́ми пойду́т в плен, и опустоши́тели твои́ бу́дут опустошены́, и всех граби́телей твои́х преда́м грабежу́.

For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord, ‘Because they called you an outcast saying: “This is Zion; No one seeks her.” ’

Я обложу́ тебя́ пла́стырем и исцелю́ тебя́ от ран твои́х, говори́т Госпо́дь. Тебя́ называ́ли отве́рженным, говоря́: «вот Сио́н, о кото́ром никто́ не спра́шивает»;

“Thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents, And have mercy on his dwelling places; The city shall be built upon its own [d]mound, And the palace shall remain according to its own plan.

так говори́т Госпо́дь: вот, возвращу́ плен шатро́в Иа́кова и селе́ния его́ поми́лую; и го́род опя́ть бу́дет постро́ен на холме́ своём, и храм устро́ится по-пре́жнему.

Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving And the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

И вознесу́тся из них благодаре́ние и го́лос веселя́щихся; и Я умно́жу их, и не бу́дут умаля́ться, и просла́влю их, и не бу́дут уни́жены.

Their children also shall be as before, And their congregation shall be established before Me; And I will punish all who oppress them.

И сыновья́ его́ бу́дут как пре́жде, и сонм его́ бу́дет предстоя́ть пре́до Мно́ю, и накажу́ всех притесни́телей его́.

Their nobles shall be from among them, And their governor shall come from their midst; Then I will cause him to draw near, And he shall approach Me; For who is this who pledged his heart to approach Me?’ says the Lord.

И бу́дет вождь его́ из него́ самого́, и влады́ка его́ произойдёт из среды́ его́; и Я прибли́жу его́, и он присту́пит ко Мне; и́бо кто отва́жится сам собо́ю прибли́зиться ко Мне? говори́т Госпо́дь.

‘You shall be My people, And I will be your God.’ ”

И вы бу́дете Мои́м наро́дом, и Я бу́ду вам Бо́гом.

Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord Goes forth with fury, A [e]continuing whirlwind; It will fall violently on the head of the wicked.

Вот, я́ростный вихрь идёт от Го́спода, вихрь гро́зный; он падёт на го́лову нечести́вых.

The fierce anger of the Lord will not return until He has done it, And until He has performed the intents of His heart. In the latter days you will consider it.

Пла́менный гнев Го́спода не отврати́тся, доко́ле Он не соверши́т и не вы́полнит наме́рений се́рдца Своего́. В после́дние дни уразуме́ете э́то.
