Спустя некоторое время Иисус возвратился в Капернаум. Разнёсся слух о том, что он вернулся,

And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house.

и вокруг дома собралось столько народа, что не оставалось места даже у дверей. Когда он проповедовал,

[a]Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them.

к нему пришли четверо мужчин, принесшие с собой парализованного.

Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men.

Они не могли приблизиться к Иисусу из-за толпы, и поэтому разобрали крышу того дома, в котором он находился, проделали отверстие и опустили носилки, на которых лежал паралитик.

And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.

Видя их веру, Иисус сказал парализованному: "Сын, твои грехи прощены".

When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”

Некоторые из сидевших там книжников подумали про себя:

And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts,

"Как этот человек может говорить такое? Он богохульствует! Кто кроме Бога может прощать грехи?"

“Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

Но Иисус, тут же ощутив в духе, о чём они думают, сказал им: "Почему вы так думаете?

But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts?

Что легче сказать парализованному: "Твои грехи прощены" или: "Встань, подними свои носилки и ходи?"

Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’?

Но смотрите! Я доказываю вам, что у Сына Человеческого есть власть на земле прощать грехи". Он сказал тогда паралитику:

But that you may know that the Son of Man has [b]power on earth to forgive sins” — He said to the paralytic,

"Говорю тебе: встань, возьми свои носилки и иди домой!"

“I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

На глазах у всех этот человек поднялся, тут же подобрал свои носилки и ушёл. Все они чрезвычайно удивились и воздали хвалу Богу, говоря: "Мы никогда не видели ничего подобного!"

Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

Иисус вновь вышел к озеру. Весь народ собрался к нему, и он стал учить их.

Then He went out again by the sea; and all the multitude came to Him, and He taught them.

Идя оттуда, он увидел Левия Алфеева, который сидел в будке сборщика налогов, и сказал ему: "Следуй за мной!" И тот поднялся и пошёл вслед за ним.

As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.

Когда Иисус обедал в доме Левия, с ним находились его ученики, а также множество сборщиков налогов и грешников, так как их было много среди следовавших за ним.

Now it happened, as He was dining in Levi’s house, that many tax collectors and sinners also sat together with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many, and they followed Him.

Увидев, что он ест с грешниками и сборщиками налогов, книжники и фарисеи обратились к его ученикам: "Почему он ест со сборщиками налогов и грешниками?"

And when the scribes [c]and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, “How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?”

Но Иисус, услышав вопрос, ответил им: "Не здоровые нуждаются во враче, а больные. Я пришёл призывать не "праведников", а грешников!"

When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, [d]to repentance.”

Также ученики Иоанна и фарисеи, постившиеся в то время, пришли спросить у Иисуса: "Почему так происходит, что ученики Иоанна и ученики фарисеи постятся, а твои ученики не постятся?"

The disciples of John and of the Pharisees were fasting. Then they came and said to Him, “Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?”

Иисус сказал им в ответ: "Могут ли поститься гости, пришедшие на свадьбу, пока жених всё ещё с ними? До тех пор, пока с ними будет жених, о каком посте может идти речь?

And Jesus said to them, “Can the [e]friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast.

Но настанет время, и будет забран от них жених; и когда придёт тот день, они станут поститься.

But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days.

Никто не пришивает к старой одежде лоскут не севшей в стирке ткани; а если пришьёт, то новая заплата оторвётся от старой одежды, и оставит после себя ещё большую дыру.

No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear is made worse.

Также никто не вливает молодое вино в старые мехи; если же вольёт, тогда прорвутся мехи, и пропадут и мехи, и вино. Лучше вливать молодое вино в обновлённые мехи".

And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”

Однажды в Субботу Иисус шёл через пшеничные поля, и по дороге ученики стали срывать колосья.

Now it happened that He went through the grainfields on the Sabbath; and as they went His disciples began to pluck the heads of grain.

Фарисеи сказали ему: "Взгляни! Почему они нарушают Субботу?"

And the Pharisees said to Him, “Look, why do they do what is not lawful on the Sabbath?”

Он отвечал им: "Разве вы никогда не читали, что сделал Давид, когда он и находившиеся с ним, проголодались, и им нужна была пища?

But He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and hungry, he and those with him:

Он вошёл в Дом Божий, а в то время Авиатар был первосвященник, и ел Хлеб Предложения — а это разрешено только священникам — и дал немного своим спутникам".

how he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the showbread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and also gave some to those who were with him?”

И затем он сказал им:"Суббота была сотворена для людей, а не люди для Субботы; поэтому Сын Человеческий — Господин Субботы".

And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
