Рано утром, в первый день недели, когда было еще темно, Мария Магдалина пошла к могиле и увидела, что камень от входа в могилу отвален.

The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

Она побежала к Симону Петру и к ученику, которого Иисус любил, и сказала: — Они забрали Господа из могилы, и мы не знаем, куда они Его положили!

Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

Петр и другой ученик сразу же побежали к могиле.

Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.

Они оба бежали, но второй ученик обогнал Петра и прибежал к могиле первым.

So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.

Он заглянул внутрь и увидел льняные пелены, но внутрь не зашел.

And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

Затем и Симон Петр, который был позади его, подбежал и вошел в могилу. Он увидел лежащие льняные полотна

Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,

и погребальный платок, которым была обвязана голова Иисуса. Платок лежал сложенным отдельно от льняных полотен.

And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

Тогда и другой ученик, прибежавший к могиле первым, тоже вошел внутрь. Он увидел и поверил.

Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.

Они все еще не понимали из Писания, что Иисус должен был воскреснуть из мертвых.

For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

Ученики возвратились домой.

Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.

Мария же стояла у могилы и плакала. Плача, она заглянула в могилу

But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,

и увидела двух ангелов в белом. Они сидели там, где раньше лежало тело Иисуса, один в головах и один в ногах.

And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

Ангелы спросили Марию: — Почему ты плачешь? — Унесли моего Господа, — ответила Мария, — и я не знаю, куда Его положили.

And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

Сказав это, она обернулась и увидела, что там стоит Иисус, хотя она не знала, что это Он сам.

And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.

— Женщина, — сказал Иисус, — почему ты плачешь? Кого ты ищешь? Она подумала, что это садовник, и сказала: — Господин, если это Ты унес Его, то скажи, куда Ты Его положил, и я пойду и возьму Его.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

— Мария, — сказал ей Иисус. Она повернулась к Нему и вскрикнула по-еврейски: — Раввуни (что значит: "Учитель")!

Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

Иисус сказал: — Не прикасайся ко Мне, потому что Я еще не поднимался к Отцу. Пойди лучше к Моим братьям и скажи им: Я поднимаюсь к Моему Отцу и к вашему Отцу, к Моему Богу и к вашему Богу.

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Мария Магдалина пошла к ученикам и сказала: — Я видела Господа! И она пересказала им то, что Он ей говорил.

Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

Вечером в первый день недели, когда ученики собрались вместе и двери дома, где они находились, были заперты из боязни перед иудеями, пришел Иисус. Он стал посреди них и сказал: — Мир вам!

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Сказав это, Он показал им свои руки и бок. Увидев Господа, ученики обрадовались.

And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

Иисус опять сказал им: — Мир вам! Как Отец послал Меня, так и Я посылаю вас.

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

С этими словами Он дунул на них и сказал: — Примите Духа Святого.

And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

Кому вы простите грехи, тем они будут прощены, а на ком оставите грехи, на тех они останутся.

Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

Фомы, которого еще называли Близнец, одного из двенадцати, не было с учениками, когда приходил Иисус.

But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

И когда другие ученики сказали: — Мы видели Господа! — Фома ответил: — Пока я не увижу следов от гвоздей на Его руках, не коснусь их пальцем и не потрогаю рану в Его боку, я не поверю.

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

Неделю спустя ученики опять собрались в доме, и на этот раз Фома был с ними. Двери были заперты, но Иисус пришел, стал посреди них и сказал: — Мир вам!

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

Затем Он сказал Фоме: — Протяни палец, посмотри, вот Мои руки. Протяни руку и потрогай Мой бок; не сомневайся, но верь.

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

— Господь мой и Бог мой! — сказал в ответ Фома.

And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Иисус ответил: — Ты поверил, потому что увидел Меня. Благословенны те, кто поверил, не видя Меня.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Иисус совершил в присутствии своих учеников и много других знамений, о которых в этой книге не записано.

And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

A эта книга написана для того, чтобы вы поверили, что Иисус есть Мессия, Сын Божий, и, веруя, во имя Его вы имели бы жизнь.

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
