Павал і Цімахвей, рабы Ісуса Хрыста — усім сьвятым у Хрысьце Ісусе, якія знаходзяцца ў Піліппах, зь япіскапа́мі і дыякана́мі:

Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

Багадаць вам і мір ад Бога Бацькі нашага і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Дзякую Богу майму пры ўсякім успаміне аб вас,

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

заўсёды ў кожнай малітве маёй за ўсіх вас з радасьцю творачы малітву,

Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

за ваш удзел у Дабравешчаньні зь першага дня аж да сягоньня,

For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

будучы ўпэўнены ў тым, што Той, Хто пачаў добрую справу сярод вас, давядзе яе да дня Ісуса Хрыста,

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

як і належыць мне думаць пра ўсіх вас, таму што я маю вас у сэрцы маім нават у путах маіх, пра ўсіх вас як саўдзельнікаў маіх у Багадаці і абароне і ўгрунтаваньні Эвангельля.

Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

І сьведка мне Бог, што я люблю ўсіх вас любоўю Ісуса Хрыста;

For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

і малюся аб тым, каб любоў вашая яшчэ больш і больш узрастала ў пазнаньні і ўсякай разважлівасьці,

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

каб пазнаваць вам лепшае, каб вы былі чыстымі і няспаткнёнымі ў дзень Хрыста,

That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

напоўненымі пладамі праведнасьці праз Ісуса Хрыста на славу і ўшанаваньне Бога.

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Хачу, браты, каб вы ведалі, што мае абставіны паслужылі большаму посьпеху Эвангельля,

But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;

так што путы мае ў Хрысьце сталіся вядомымі ўсёй прэторыі і ўсім іншым,

So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;

і большая частка братоў у Госпадзе пасьмялеўшы праз путы мае яшчэ больш адважыліся бязбоязна гаварыць слова.

And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

НІкаторыя, праўда, з-за зайздрасьці і спаборніцтва, а нікаторыя абвяшчаюць Хрыста шчыра.

Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

Адны па спаборніцтву абвяшчаюць Хрыста нячыста, думаючы павялічыць цяжар маіх путаў;

The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:

а другія зь любові, ведаючы што я пастаўлены на абарону Эвангельля.

But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

Дык у любым выпадку, ці абвяшчаецца Хрыстос для блізíру ці шчыра, я і гэтаму радуюся, ды і буду ра́давацца.

What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

Бо ведаю, што гэта мне паслужыць на збаўленьне праз вашую малітву і дапамогу Духа Ісуса Хрыста,

For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

водля майго нясупыннага чаканьня і надзеі, што я ні ў чым ня буду асаромлены, але са ўсякай адвагаю (упэўнены), як заўсёды, так і цяпер, што Хрыстос будзе ўзьвялічаны ў целе маім, ці то праз жыцьцё, ці то праз сьмерць.

According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

Бо для мяне жыцьцё — Хрыстос, а сьмерць — набытак.

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

А калі жыць у целе гэта для мяне ёсьць плод дзейнасьці, дык ня ведаю, што выберу.

But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.

Дык цягне мяне і тое, і другое; маю жаданьне адыйсьці і быць з Хрыстом, (што для мяне) няпараўнальна лепш;

For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

але заставацца ў целе больш патрэбней для вас.

Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

І я ў гэтым упэўнены і ведаю, што застануся са ўсімі вамі для вашага ўзрастаньня і радасьці ў веры,

And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;

каб пахвала вашая ў Хрысьце Ісусе памнажалася празь мяне пры маім другім прыходзе да вас.

That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

Толькі жывеце годна Эвангельля Хрыста, каб ці калі прыйду і ўбачу вас, ці адсутнічаючы, але чуць пра вас, што вы стаіцё ў адным духу аднадушна змагаючыся за веру Эвангельля,

Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

і ні ў чым ня палохаючыся супраціўнікаў. Гэта для іх зьяўляецца знакам пагíбелі, а для вас — выратаваньня. І гэта — ад Бога,

And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

бо вам дадзена дзеля Хрыста ня толькі ў Яго верыць, але і паку́таваць дзеля Яго.

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

маючы такое ж змаганьне, якое вы бачылі ўва мне і цяпер чуеце пра мяне.

Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
