Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

Петр и Иоанн шли вместе в храм в час молитвы девятый.

And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to [a]ask alms from those who entered the temple;

И был человек, хромой от чрева матери его, которого носили и сажали каждый день при дверях храма, называемых Красивыми, просить милостыню у входящих в храм.

who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms.

Он, увидев Петра и Иоанна перед входом в храм, просил у них милостыню.

And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”

Петр с Иоанном, всмотревшись в него, сказали: «Взгляни на нас».

So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

И он пристально посмотрел на них, надеясь получить от них что-нибудь.

Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

Но Петр сказал: «Серебра и золота нет у меня, а что имею, то даю тебе: во имя Иисуса Христа Назорея встань и ходи!»

And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

И, взяв его за правую руку, поднял; и вдруг укрепились его ступни и колени,

So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them — walking, leaping, and praising God.

и, вскочив, встал, и начал ходить, и вошел с ними в храм, ходя, и скача, и хваля Бога.

And all the people saw him walking and praising God.

И весь народ видел его ходящим и хвалящим Бога;

Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

и узнали его, что это был тот, который сидел у Красивых дверей храма для сбора милостыни. И исполнились ужаса и изумления от случившегося с ним.

Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon’s, greatly amazed.

И как исцеленный хромой не отходил от Петра и Иоанна, то весь народ в изумлении сбежался к ним в притвор, называемый Соломоновым.

So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?

Увидев это, Петр сказал народу: «Мужи израильские! Что дивитесь этому или что смотрите на нас, как будто бы мы своей силой или благочестием сделали то, что он ходит?

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go.

Бог Авраама, и Исаака, и Иакова, Бог отцов наших, прославил Сына Своего Иисуса, Которого вы предали и от Которого отреклись пред лицом Пилата, когда он полагал освободить Его.

But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,

Но вы от Святого и Праведного отреклись и просили даровать вам человека, убийцу,

and killed the [b]Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

а Начальника жизни убили. Сего Бог воскресил из мертвых, чему мы свидетели.

And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

И по вере во имя Его, имя Его укрепило этого, которого вы видите и знаете, и вера, которая от Него, даровала ему исцеление это перед всеми вами.

“Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

Впрочем, я знаю, братья, что вы, как и начальники ваши, сделали это по неведению.

But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.

Бог же как предвозвестил устами всех Своих пророков пострадать Христу, так и исполнил.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

Итак, покайтесь и обратитесь, чтобы загладились грехи ваши,

and that He may send [c]Jesus Christ, who was [d]preached to you before,

да придут времена отрады от лица Господа, и да пошлет Он предназначенного вам Иисуса Христа,

whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since [e]the world began.

Которого небо должно было принять до времен совершения всего, что говорил Бог устами всех святых Своих пророков от века.

For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

Моисей сказал отцам: „Господь, Бог ваш, воздвигнет вам из братьев ваших Пророка, как меня; слушайтесь Его во всем, что Он ни будет говорить вам;

And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

и будет, что всякая душа, которая не послушает Пророка того, истребится из народа“.

Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also [f]foretold these days.

И все пророки, от Самуила и после него, сколько их ни говорило, также предвозвестили дни эти.

You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’

Вы сыны пророков и завета, который завещал Бог отцам вашим, говоря Аврааму: „И в семени твоем благословятся все племена земные“.

To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”

Бог, воскресив Сына Своего Иисуса, к вам первым послал Его благословить вас, отвращая каждого от злых дел ваших».
