Early on Sunday morning,a as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb.

После субботы, на рассвете первого дня недели[189], Мария Магдалина и другая Мария пошли посмотреть гробницу.

Suddenly there was a great earthquake! For an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it.

Вдруг произошло сильное землетрясение, потому что ангел Господа спустился с неба, подошел к гробнице и отвалил камень. И теперь он сидел на нём.

His face shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow.

Своим видом он был, как молния, а его одежда была белой, как снег.

The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint.

Стражники настолько испугались его, что задрожали и стали как мертвые.

Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

Ангел сказал женщинам: — Не бойтесь, я знаю, что вы ищете распятого Иисуса.

He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.

Его здесь нет, Он воскрес, как и говорил ранее. Подойдите и посмотрите на место, где Он лежал.

And now, go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and he is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there. Remember what I have told you.”

Идите же скорее и скажите Его ученикам, что Он воскрес из мертвых и отправился прежде вас в Галилею. Там вы Его увидите. Вот что я вам сказал.

The women ran quickly from the tomb. They were very frightened but also filled with great joy, and they rushed to give the disciples the angel’s message.

Женщины ушли от гробницы испуганные, но в то же время очень обрадованные. Они побежали, чтобы поскорее рассказать обо всем ученикам Иисуса.

And as they went, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they ran to him, grasped his feet, and worshiped him.

Вдруг их встретил Сам Иисус. — Приветствую вас, — сказал Он. Они подошли, обняли Его ноги и поклонились Ему.

Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid! Go tell my brothers to leave for Galilee, and they will see me there.”

Тогда Иисус сказал им: — Не бойтесь. Идите и скажите Моим братьям, чтобы они шли в Галилею. Там они Меня и увидят.

As the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and told the leading priests what had happened.

Женщины ещё были в пути, когда несколько человек из стражи пришли в город и рассказали обо всем первосвященникам.

A meeting with the elders was called, and they decided to give the soldiers a large bribe.

Первосвященники посовещались со старейшинами и разработали план. Они дали солдатам много денег

They told the soldiers, “You must say, ‘Jesus’ disciples came during the night while we were sleeping, and they stole his body.’

и сказали: — Говорите всем так: «Его ученики пришли ночью и выкрали Его, пока мы спали».

If the governor hears about it, we’ll stand up for you so you won’t get in trouble.”

А если это дойдет до наместника, то мы с ним поговорим и тем вас избавим от неприятностей.

So the guards accepted the bribe and said what they were told to say. Their story spread widely among the Jews, and they still tell it today.

Солдаты взяли деньги и поступили так, как их научили. И эта выдумка распространена среди иудеев и по сегодняшний день.

Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.

А одиннадцать учеников пошли в Галилею, на гору, куда Иисус велел им прийти.

When they saw him, they worshiped him — but some of them doubted!

Там они увидели Иисуса и поклонились Ему, однако некоторые засомневались, что это Он.

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.

Тогда, подойдя, Иисус сказал им: — Мне дана вся власть на небе и на земле.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,b baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Поэтому пойдите ко всем народам и сделайте их Моими учениками: крестите их во имя Отца, Сына и Святого Духа и

Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

учите их исполнять всё, что Я вам повелел. А Я буду с вами всё время, до скончания века.
