So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city.

Иисус вошел в лодку, переправился на другую сторону озера и вернулся в город, где Он жил.

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”

Несколько человек принесли к Нему больного, лежащего на циновке. Когда Иисус увидел их веру, Он сказал парализованному: — Не бойся, Мой сын! Твои грехи прощены!

And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!”

Тогда некоторые из учителей закона подумали про себя: — Да Он же богохульствует!

But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?

Зная, о чем они думают, Иисус сказал: — Откуда у вас такие злые мысли?

For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?

Что легче сказать: "Прощаются тебе твои грехи" или: "Встань и ходи"?

But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” — then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

Так знайте, что Сын Человеческий имеет на земле власть прощать грехи... И Он обратился к парализованному: — Вставай, бери свою постель и иди домой.

And he arose and departed to his house.

Человек встал и пошел домой.

Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled[a] and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

Видевшие это исполнились благоговейного ужаса и стали славить Бога, давшего людям такую власть.

As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.

Когда Иисус шел оттуда, Он увидел человека по имени Матфей, сидевшего там, где собирались пошлины. — Пойдем со Мной, — сказал ему Иисус. Матфей встал и пошел за Ним.

Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.

Позже, когда Иисус обедал в доме у Матфея, там собралось много сборщиков пошлин и других грешников. Они ели с Иисусом и Его учениками.

And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

Когда фарисеи увидели это, они стали спрашивать учеников Иисуса: — Почему ваш Учитель ест и пьет со сборщиками пошлин и грешниками?

When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.

Когда Иисус услышал это, Он сказал: — Не здоровым нужен врач, а больным.

But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, [b]to repentance.”

Попытайтесь вначале понять, что значат слова: "Милости хочу, а не жертвы". Я пришел призвать не праведников, а грешников!

Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast [c]often, but Your disciples do not fast?”

Затем пришли ученики Иоанна и спросили: — Почему мы и фарисеи постимся, а Твои ученики нет?

And Jesus said to them, “Can the [d]friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.

Иисус ответил: — Неужели друзьям жениха печалиться, когда с ними жених? Придет время, когда заберут у них жениха, тогда и будут поститься.

No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for [e]the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse.

Никто не пришивает к старой одежде заплату из новой ткани: она, когда сядет, разорвет дыру еще больше.

Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins [f]break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

Никто не наливает молодое вино в старые бурдюки. Если так сделать, то бурдюки разорвутся: и вино вытечет, и бурдюки пропадут. Нет, молодое вино наливают в новые бурдюки, тогда и то и другое будет цело.

While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.”

Когда Иисус еще говорил, к Нему подошел один начальник. Он упал перед Иисусом на колени и сказал: — Моя дочь только что умерла, но Ты приди, положи на нее руку, и она оживет.

So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples.

Иисус встал и пошел с ним. Ученики тоже пошли за ними.

And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment.

В это время к Иисусу сзади подошла женщина, двенадцать лет страдавшая кровотечением, и прикоснулась к краю Его одежды.

For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.”

Она думала про себя: "Если я только прикоснусь к Его одежде, то исцелюсь".

But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

Иисус обернулся и увидел ее. — Не бойся, Моя дочь, — сказал Он, — твоя вера тебя исцелила. И женщина в тот же момент выздоровела.

When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing,

Когда Иисус вошел в дом начальника и увидел флейтистов и шумящую толпу,

He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him.

Он сказал: — Выйдите, девочка не умерла, а спит. Но они лишь посмеялись над Ним.

But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.

Когда людей все-таки удалили, Иисус вошел, взял девочку за руку, и она встала.

And the report of this went out into all that land.

Слух об этом распространился по всей округе.

When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”

Когда Иисус вышел оттуда, за Ним пошли двое слепых, крича: — Помилуй нас, Сын Давида!

And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

Когда Он вошел в дом, слепые подошли к Нему, и Он спросил их: — Вы верите, что Я могу это сделать? — Да, Господи, — ответили те.

Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”

Тогда Иисус прикоснулся к их глазам и сказал: — Пусть же с вами будет по вашей вере.

And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.”

И они тотчас прозрели. Иисус же строго наказал им: — Смотрите, чтобы никто не узнал об этом.

But when they had departed, they [g]spread the news about Him in all that [h]country.

Но они пошли и рассказали о Нем повсюду в той местности.

As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed.

Не успели еще они выйти, как к Иисусу привели человека, одержимого демоном и немого.

And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, “It was never seen like this in Israel!”

Когда демон был изгнан, немой начал говорить. Люди удивлялись: — Ничего подобного еще не бывало в Израиле.

But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.”

Фарисеи же говорили: — Он изгоняет демонов силой повелителя демонов.

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease [i]among the people.

Иисус проходил по всем городам и деревням, учил в синагогах, проповедовал Радостную весть о Царстве и исцелял людей от всех болезней и немощей.

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were [j]weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.

Увидев толпы народа, Он пожалел их, потому что эти люди были измучены и беспомощны, как овцы без пастуха.

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

Он говорил своим ученикам: — Жатва большая, а работников мало.

Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Просите хозяина жатвы, чтобы выслал работников на свои поля.
