На двадцать пятом году нашего плена, в начале года, на десятый день месяца, сила Господняя снова пришла ко мне. Это случилось в четырнадцатую годовщину захвата вавилонянами Иерусалима. В видении Господь перенёс меня туда.

In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, on that same day the hand of Jehovah was upon me, and he brought me thither.

Он перенёс меня в Божьих видениях в землю Израиля и поставил меня на высокую гору, на которой было нечто, напоминавшее город.

In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain; and upon it was as the building of a city, on the south.

Господь привёл меня туда, и там был человек, который сиял как начищенная медь. Он стоял возле ворот, держа в руке суконную измерительную верёвку и измерительную трость.

And he brought me thither, and behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a flax-cord in his hand, and a measuring-reed; and he stood in the gate.

Затем этот человек сказал мне: «Сын человеческий, смотри глазами и слушай ушами, смотри на всё и слушай меня. Обрати внимание на всё, что я тебе покажу, потому что ты именно для этого находишься здесь. Ты должен рассказать семье Израиля всё, что здесь увидишь».

And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thy heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for in order that it might be shewn unto thee art thou brought hither. Declare to the house of Israel all that thou seest.

И увидел я стену, которая тянулась вокруг всего храма. В его руке была измерительная трость длиной в 6 локтей. Каждый локоть приравнивался к длине одного локтя и одной ладони. Он измерил толщину стены, которая равнялась одной измерительной трости, и такой же была высота стены.

And behold, there was a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring-reed of six cubits, [each] of one cubit and a hand breadth. And he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.

Затем он пошёл к восточным воротам, взошёл по ступеням и измерил порог ворот, ширина которого была в одну трость.

And he came to the gate which looked toward the east, and went up its steps; and he measured the threshold of the gate, one reed broad; and the other threshold one reed broad.

Каждая комната была длиной и шириной в одну трость. Между комнатами было расстояние в 5 локтей, и порог ворот, выходивший в сторону храма, был шириной в трость.

And [each] chamber was one reed long and one reed broad; and between the chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate, beside the porch of the gate within, was one reed.

Затем он измерил порог,

And he measured the porch of the gate within, one reed.

который составлял 8 локтей в длину. Затем он измерил столбы, располагавшиеся по обеим сторонам ворот. Они были 2 локтя в ширину. Порог ворот выходил в сторону храма.

And he measured the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward.

С каждой стороны ворот было по три маленьких комнаты, размер которых был равен размеру боковых стен.

And the chambers of the gate which was toward the east were three on this side and three on that side: they three were of one measure; and the posts on this side and on that side had one measure.

Человек измерил ширину ворот, и они были 10 локтей, а все ворота были 13 локтей в длину.

And he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate, ten cubits; [and] the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.

Перед каждой из комнат был выступ шириной в один локоть и такой же толщины. Комнаты были по 6 локтей с каждой из сторон.

And there was a border before the chambers of one cubit, and a border of one cubit on the other side; and the chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.

Затем он измерил ворота от крыши одной комнаты до крыши другой, которые насчитывали 25 локтей от двери до двери.

And he measured the gate from the roof of [one] chamber to the roof [of the other], a breadth of five and twenty cubits, entry opposite entry.

Он также измерил и дверные столбы ворот, выходивших во внутренний двор, которые составляли 50 локтей в ширину.

And he made posts, sixty cubits, and by the post was the court of the gate round about.

От внешней стороны ворот до внутренней было 50 локтей.

And from the front of the gate of the entrance unto the front of the porch of the inner gate were fifty cubits.

Небольшие окна располагались над комнатами, боковыми стенами и порогом. Окна сужались, а широкая часть окон выходила в сторону ворот; на каждом столбе ворот были вырезаны пальмовые деревья.

And there were closed windows to the chambers, and to their posts within the gate round about, and likewise to the projections; and the windows round about were inward; and upon [each] post were palm-trees.

Этот человек привёл меня на внешний двор, где я увидел комнаты с каменным тротуаром вокруг двора. Тридцать комнат располагались вдоль стены и были обращены в сторону тротуара.

And he brought me into the outer court, and behold, there were cells, and a pavement made for the court round about: thirty cells were upon the pavement.

Тротуар тянулся вдоль ворот и был такой же длины, как ворота, но располагался ниже.

And the pavement was by the side of the gates, answering to the length of the gates, [namely] the lower pavement.

Тогда человек измерил расстояние от внутренней части нижних ворот до внешней стороны двора, которое составляло 100 локтей на восток и на север.

And he measured the breadth from the front of the lower gate unto the front of the inner court outside, a hundred cubits eastward and northward.

Он измерил длину и ширину ворот внешнего двора, ворот, выходящих на север.

And the gate of the outer court, that looked toward the north, he measured its length and its breadth.

Там тоже было по три комнаты с каждой стороны, столбы и порог были таких же размеров, как у первых ворот, и составляли 50 локтей в длину и 25 в ширину.

And its chambers were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its projections were according to the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and breadth five and twenty cubits.

Их окна, порог и пальмовые деревья имели те же размеры, что и восточные ворота. Снаружи семь ступеней вели к воротам, а порог располагался внутри.

And its windows, and its projections, and its palm-trees were according to the measure of the gate that looked toward the east; and they went up to it by seven steps; and the projections thereof were before them.

Внутренний двор имел ворота, расположенные напротив северных ворот, которые были похожи на восточные ворота. Человек измерил расстояние от ворот до ворот: оно составляло 100 локтей.

And the gate of the inner court was opposite to the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate a hundred cubits.

Затем он повел меня на юг, и я увидел южные ворота. Он также измерил столбы и порог, и все они были одних и тех же размеров.

And he brought me toward the south: and behold, there was a gate toward the south; and he measured its posts and its projections according to these measures.

Вокруг этих ворот и порога были окна, так же как и вокруг других ворот. Они были длиной в 50 локтей и шириной в 25 локтей.

And there were windows to it and to its projections round about, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.

К воротам вели семь ступеней, порог был внутри, и с каждой стороны были столбы, украшенные пальмовыми деревьями.

And there were seven steps to go up to it; and its projections were before them; and it had palm-trees, one on this side and one on that side, upon its posts.

Человек измерил ворота, располагавшиеся с южной стороны внутреннего двора, которые составляли 100 локтей в ширину от ворот до ворот.

And there was a gate to the inner court toward the south; and he measured from gate to gate toward the south, a hundred cubits.

Затем он привёл меня во внутренний двор южных ворот. Когда он измерил южные ворота, то они оказались тех же размеров, что и другие ворота.

And he brought me into the inner court by the south gate; and he measured the south gate according to these measures:

Комнаты южных ворот, столбы и порог были тех же размеров, что и у других ворот. Вокруг этих ворот и порога были окна. Ворота насчитывали 50 локтей в длину и 25 в ширину.

and its chambers, and its posts, and its projections, according to these measures; and there were windows to it and to its projections round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

Порог составлял 5 локтей в ширину и 25 локтей в длину.

And there were projections round about, twenty-five cubits long, and five cubits broad.

Порог южных ворот выходил на внешний двор, и пальмовая резьба украшала столбы. Лестница, идущая к воротам, насчитывала восемь ступеней.

And its projections were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.

Человек привёл меня во внутренний двор, располагавшийся с восточной стороны, и измерил ворота. Они были таких же размеров, как и другие ворота.

And he brought me into the inner court toward the east; and he measured the gate according to these measures:

Порог ворот, столбы и комнаты имели такие же размеры, а вокруг этих ворот и порога были окна. Восточные ворота составляли 50 локтей в длину и 25 в ширину.

Порог ворот выходил во внешний двор, а столбы, расположенные с обеих сторон ворот, были украшены пальмовой резьбой. Лестница, идущая к воротам, насчитывала восемь ступеней.

And its projections were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts on this side and on that side: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.

Затем человек привёл меня к северным воротам и измерил их. Они были таких же размеров.

And he brought me to the north gate, and he measured [it] according to these measures:

Стены, столбы и комнаты, располагавшиеся вокруг них, имели те же размеры. Вокруг этих ворот и порога были окна. Ворота были 50 локтей длиной и 25 шириной.

its chambers, its posts, and its projections; and there were windows to it round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

And its posts were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts, on this side and on that side: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.

В стену, располагавшуюся возле ворот, была встроена дверь, которая вела в комнату, где священники омывали жертвы.

And there was a cell and its entry by the posts of the gates; there they rinsed the burnt-offering.

С каждой стороны порога этих ворот стояло по два стола. На них закалывали животных для жертв всесожжения, для жертв за грехи и для жертв повинности.

And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt-offering and the sin-offering and the trespass-offering.

Снаружи, где открывались северные ворота, тоже были два стола, и с другой стороны тоже два стола.

And at the side without, at the ascent to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables:

Четыре стола находились снаружи, а ещё четыре стола стояли внутри, и всего было восемь столов. Священники закалывали на этих столах жертвы.

four tables on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate, -- eight tables, whereon they slew [the sacrifice],

Четыре стола были сделаны из отёсанного камня и предназначались для сжигания жертв. Они составляли 1,5 локтя в длину и ширину, а высотой были в один локоть. На них священники раскладывали свои принадлежности для заклания жертв.

-- and at the ascent, four tables of hewn stone, of a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high; whereon also they laid the instruments with which they slew the burnt-offering and the sacrifice.

Крюки длиной в ладонь висели повсюду, а мясо жертв лежало на столах.

And the double hooks of a hand breadth were fastened round about within; and upon the tables [they put] the flesh of the offering.

Затем человек привёл меня во внутренний двор. Во внутреннем дворе были две комнаты: одна — сбоку от северных ворот, которая выходила на юг, а вторая — сбоку от южных ворот, выходившая на север.

And outside the inner gate were two cells in the inner court, one at the side of the north gate, and its front towards the south; the other was at the side of the south gate, the front towards the north.

Человек обратился ко мне с такими словами: «Комната, выходящая на юг, предназначена для священников, которые служат в храме.

And he said unto me, This cell whose front is towards the south is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.

Комната, выходящая на север, отведена для священников, которые служат у алтаря. Все эти священники — потомки Садока, сыновья из колена Левия, которые имеют право служить Господу, принося Ему жертвы».

And the cell whose front is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, those who, from among the sons of Levi, approach unto Jehovah to minister unto him.

Он замерил двор, имевший четырёхугольную форму. Двор был 100 локтей в ширину и 100 локтей в длину, а алтарь располагался перед храмом.

And he measured the court, the length a hundred cubits, and the breadth a hundred cubits, four square: and the altar was before the house.

Он привёл меня к порогу храма и замерил все его столбы, которые были 5 локтей в толщину, ворота были 14 локтей в ширину, а ширина стены составляла 3 локтя.

And he brought me to the porch of the house; and he measured the post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side; and the breadth of the gate, three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

Порог насчитывал 20 локтей в длину и 12 локтей в ширину. К нему вели десять ступеней, и с обеих сторон стояли колонны.

The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, even by the steps whereby they went up to it; and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and one on that side.
