Первое соглашение имело свои правила молитвенного обряда и своё святилище, построенное человеческими руками.

That first covenant between God and Israel had regulations for worship and a place of worship here on earth.

Был построен священный шатёр. В его передней части, называемой «святым местом», поместили светильник и стол со священными хлебами.

There were two rooms in that Tabernacle.a In the first room were a lampstand, a table, and sacred loaves of bread on the table. This room was called the Holy Place.

За завесой находилась вторая комната, называемая «Святая святых».

Then there was a curtain, and behind the curtain was the second roomb called the Most Holy Place.

В ней находился золотой алтарь для курения благовоний и священный ларец Соглашения, покрытый золотом. В этом ларце находился золотой сосуд с манной, посох Аарона, когда-то пустивший побеги, и каменные скрижали, на которых были высечены десять заповедей старого соглашения.

In that room were a gold incense altar and a wooden chest called the Ark of the Covenant, which was covered with gold on all sides. Inside the Ark were a gold jar containing manna, Aaron’s staff that sprouted leaves, and the stone tablets of the covenant.

Над ларцом стояли Херувимы славы, осеняющие место милосердия. Но сейчас не нужно обсуждать всё это в подробностях.

Above the Ark were the cherubim of divine glory, whose wings stretched out over the Ark’s cover, the place of atonement. But we cannot explain these things in detail now.

Когда всё было устроено таким образом, священники каждый день входили в первую комнату, совершая обряд поклонения.

When these things were all in place, the priests regularly entered the first roomc as they performed their religious duties.

Но во вторую комнату мог входить только первосвященник и только один раз в году. При этом он должен был принести с собой кровь, предназначенную в приношение Богу для искупления своих грехов и грехов народа, совершённых по невежеству.

But only the high priest ever entered the Most Holy Place, and only once a year. And he always offered blood for his own sins and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.

Этими двумя комнатами Святой Дух показывает, что путь в святилище не открыт, пока там есть первая комната.

By these regulations the Holy Spirit revealed that the entrance to the Most Holy Place was not freely open as long as the Tabernacled and the system it represented were still in use.

Всё это является образцом для нас, живущих сегодня, означая то, что дары и жертвы, предложенные Богу, не могут полностью очистить тех, кто поклоняются Ему.

This is an illustration pointing to the present time. For the gifts and sacrifices that the priests offer are not able to cleanse the consciences of the people who bring them.

Ведь дары и приношения сводились только к еде, питью и различным омовениям — к правилам, которые касаются только тела и которые Бог установил только до наступления нового порядка.

For that old system deals only with food and drink and various cleansing ceremonies — physical regulations that were in effect only until a better system could be established.

Теперь же явился Христос, Первосвященник благ, которые у нас есть. Однако Он не служит в шатре, подобном тому, в котором служили другие первосвященники. Он служит в лучшем, более совершенном месте, которое не создано руками человеческими и не принадлежит этому миру.

So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come.e He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world.

Он не приносил кровь козлят и телят, когда входил туда, а вошёл в Святая святых раз и навсегда, пролив Свою Собственную кровь, и тем самым приобрёл для нас вечное отпущение грехов.

With his own blood — not the blood of goats and calves — he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.

Если кровь козлят и телят, окропившая тех людей, которые были не достаточно чисты, чтобы войти в место поклонения, или пепел коровы, осыпавший их, могут освятить их, и они очистятся внешне,

Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity.

то насколько же действеннее кровь Христа! Он, через вечного Духа, предложил себя Богу как незапятнанную жертву. И Его кровь очистит нашу совесть от греховных поступков, несущих смерть, чтобы мы служили живому Богу.

Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deedsf so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.

И поэтому Христос — Посредник в новом соглашении между Богом и людьми, чтобы те, кого призывает Бог, могли получить обещанное Им. Они могут получить всё это навечно, потому что Христос умер, чтобы искупить грехи, совершённые людьми против заветов первого соглашения, и освободить их от грехов.

That is why he is the one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant.

Если есть завещание, то необходимо подтвердить смерть того, кто его составил,

Now when someone leaves a will,g it is necessary to prove that the person who made it is dead.h

так как завещание вступает в силу только после его смерти. Оно недействительно, пока жив тот, кто его составил.

The will goes into effect only after the person’s death. While the person who made it is still alive, the will cannot be put into effect.

Вот почему даже первое соглашение не вступило в силу без крови.

That is why even the first covenant was put into effect with the blood of an animal.

Поэтому, после того как Моисей объявил заповеди закона народу, он взял кровь телят и козлят, смешал её с водой, красной шерстью и иссопом и окропил книгу закона и весь народ.

For after Moses had read each of God’s commandments to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats,i along with water, and sprinkled both the book of God’s law and all the people, using hyssop branches and scarlet wool.

Он сказал: «Вот кровь соглашения, которому Бог повелел вам повиноваться».

Then he said, “This blood confirms the covenant God has made with you.”j

И он окропил также шатёр и всё, чем пользовался во время обряда.

And in the same way, he sprinkled blood on the Tabernacle and on everything used for worship.

В самом деле, согласно закону почти всё должно быть очищено кровью, потому что без пролития крови нет прощения грехов.

In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

И потому необходимо, чтобы всё, что создано по подобию небесному, было очищено этим. Но всё, что на небесах, должно быть очищено через лучшие жертвы, чем эти.

That is why the Tabernacle and everything in it, which were copies of things in heaven, had to be purified by the blood of animals. But the real things in heaven had to be purified with far better sacrifices than the blood of animals.

Христос вошёл не в то святилище, которое было создано руками человека в подражание истинной Святая святых, а вознёсся на небо, чтобы предстать перед Богом за нас.

For Christ did not enter into a holy place made with human hands, which was only a copy of the true one in heaven. He entered into heaven itself to appear now before God on our behalf.

Он вознёсся не для того, чтобы снова и снова приносить Себя в жертву, подобно тому как первосвященник каждый год входит в Святая святых, неся с собой не свою кровь.

And he did not enter heaven to offer himself again and again, like the high priest here on earth who enters the Most Holy Place year after year with the blood of an animal.

Иначе с сотворения мира Ему бы надлежало приносить Себя в жертву великое множество раз. Сейчас же Он явился к концу веков, однажды и навечно, чтобы покончить с грехом, принеся Себя в жертву.

If that had been necessary, Christ would have had to die again and again, ever since the world began. But now, once for all time, he has appeared at the end of the agek to remove sin by his own death as a sacrifice.

И подобно тому как умирают только один раз и предстают перед судом,

And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment,

Христос принёс Себя в жертву только однажды, чтобы покончить с грехами множества людей. Он явится вторично не для того, чтобы искупить грехи, а чтобы спасти тех, кто ждёт Его.

so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.
