When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him.

После того, как Иисус спустился вниз с холма, множество народа последовало за ним.

And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”

Тогда мужчина, страдавший отталкивающим кожным заболеванием, подошёл, встал на колени перед ним и сказал: "Господин, если желаешь, можешь очистить меня".

Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Иисус протянул руку, коснулся его и сказал: "Да, желаю! Очистись!" И в тот же миг он очистился от кожной болезни.

And Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Затем Иисус сказал ему: "Смотри, не говори никому, но ради свидетельства людям пойди, и пусть священник проверит тебя, и принеси жертву, о которой повелел Моисей".

Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him,

Когда Иисус вошёл в Капернаум, подошёл офицер римской армии и умолял его о помощи.

saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”

"Господин, мой ординарец лежит дома парализованный и ужасно мучается!"

And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

Иисус сказал: "Я пойду и исцелю его".

The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.

Но офицер ответил: "Господин, я не тот, к кому тебе следовало бы заходить в дом. Но если лишь прикажешь, мой ординарец исцелится.

For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

Я и сам подчинён власти, но, имея в распоряжении солдат, говорю одному: 'Пойди!', — и он идёт; другому: 'Подойди!', — и он подходит; рабу моему: 'Делай!', — и он делает".

When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

Слыша это, Иисус изумился и сказал людям, следовавшим за ним: "Да! Говорю вам, я не нашёл в Израиле никого, кто имел бы такую веру!

And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

Более того, говорю вам, что многие придут с востока и с запада и займут свои места на празднике в Царстве Небес с Авраамом, Исааком и Иаковом.

But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

А рождённые для Царства будут выброшены вон, во тьму, где будут стенать и скрежетать зубами!"

Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.

Затем Иисус сказал офицеру: "Иди; пусть будет тебе так, как ты поверил". И в тот же миг его ординарец исцелился.

Now when Jesus had come into Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever.

Иисус пошёл в дом Петра и там увидел его тёщу, которая из-за сильного жара лежала в постели.

So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served [a]them.

Он прикоснулся к её руке, жар исчез, и она встала и начала помогать ему.

When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

Когда наступил вечер, к нему привели многих людей, находившихся во власти бесов. Он изгнал духов словом и исцелил всех больных.

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”

Это произошло, чтобы исполнилось сказанное через пророка Исайю: "Он сам взял наши слабости и понёс наши болезни".

And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side.

Когда Иисус увидел вокруг себя множество народа, он распорядился, переправиться на другую сторону озера.

Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”

К нему подошёл книжник и сказал: "Раби, я последую за тобой, куда бы ты ни пошёл".

And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

Иисус сказал ему: "Лисы имеют норы, и у птиц есть гнёзда, а у Сына Человеческого нет своего дома".

Then another of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

Один из учеников сказал ему: "Господин, позволь мне сначала пойти похоронить моего отца".

But Jesus said to him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

Но Иисус ответил: "Следуй за мной, и пусть мёртвые хоронят своих мертвецов".

Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.

Он сел в лодку, и за ним последовали ученики.

And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.

Затем неожиданно на озере поднялся неистовый шторм, так что волны обрушились на лодку. А Иисус спал.

Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

Тогда они подошли и разбудили его, говоря: "Господин! Помоги! Мы погибаем!"

But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

Он сказал им: "Почему вы так боитесь? Как мало у вас веры!" Затем он встал и запретил ветрам и волнам, и наступил полный штиль.

So the men marveled, saying, [b]“Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

Люди были поражены. Они спрашивали: "Что это за человек, что даже ветры и море повинуются ему?"

When He had come to the other side, to the country of the [c]Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way.

Когда Иисус переправился на другую сторону озера, на территорию Гадары, из погребальных пещер вышли два человека, находившиеся во власти бесов, такие буйные, что никто не осмеливался проходить той дорогой.

And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”

Они закричали: "Что тебе нужно от нас, Сын Божий? Ты пришёл мучить нас раньше назначенного времени?"

Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding.

Неподалёку от них паслось большое стадо свиней.

So the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, [d]permit us to go away into the herd of swine.”

Бесы умоляли его: "Если ты изгонишь нас, пошли нас в стадо свиней".

And He said to them, “Go.” So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water.

"Хорошо, идите!" — сказал он им. Итак, они вышли и вошли в свиней, после чего всё стадо ринулось с холма в озеро и утонуло.

Then those who kept them fled; and they went away into the city and told everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.

Свинопасы, убежав оттуда, пришли в город и пересказали всю историю, включая и то, что случилось с бесноватыми.

And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to depart from their region.

Услышав это, весь город вышел навстречу Иисусу. Увидев его, они умоляли, чтобы он покинул их область.
