For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

Закон, будучи лишь тенью будущих благ, а не самими этими благами не может сделать совершенными тех, кто приходит, чтобы постоянно, из года в год приносить те же самые жертвы.

For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

Если бы закон был в состоянии это сделать, то разве они не перестали бы приносить свои жертвы? Поклоняющиеся были бы очищены раз и навсегда, и больше не чувствовали бы вины за свои грехи.

But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

Но эти жертвы служат для того, чтобы из года в год напоминать о грехе,

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

потому что кровь быков или козлов не может устранять грехи.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

Поэтому, входя в мир, Христос сказал: "Ты не захотел ни жертв, ни даров, но Ты приготовил для Меня тело.

In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

Тебя не радуют ни всесожжения, ни жертвы за грех.

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

Тогда Я сказал: вот, как обо Мне и написано в свитке, Я иду, чтобы исполнить Твою волю, Боже!"

Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

Итак, в начале Он сказал: "Ты не захотел ни жертв, ни даров, ни всесожжений, ни приношений за грех, они Тебя не радуют". Он сказал это несмотря на то, что все это требовалось по закону.

Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

Потом Он добавил: "Вот, Я иду, чтобы исполнить Твою волю". Он отменяет первое и вводит в силу второе.

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Именно по Божьей воле мы были раз и навсегда освящены принесением в жертву тела Иисуса Христа.

And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

Каждый священник изо дня в день выполняет свои обязанности, вновь и вновь принося одни и те же жертвы, не способные удалить грехи.

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Этот же Первосвященник принес одну жертву за грехи, действенную вовеки, и сел по правую руку Бога.

From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

С тех пор Он ожидает того часа, когда Его враги будут повержены к Его ногам.

For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Одной жертвой Он навсегда сделал освящаемых совершенными.

Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

Об этом нам свидетельствует и Святой Дух. Вначале Он говорит:

This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

"В будущем Я заключу с ними союз, — говорит Господь. — Я вложу Мои законы в их сердца и запишу их в их умах".

And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Потом Он добавляет: "Их грехи и их беззакония Я никогда уже не буду вспоминать".

Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Когда грех прощен, тогда уже больше нет нужды в жертве за грех.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Братья, благодаря крови Иисуса мы теперь можем смело войти в Святое Святых,

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

войти по новому и живому пути, который открыт для нас через занавес, то есть через Его тело.

And having an high priest over the house of God;

У нас есть великий Священник, который стоит во главе всего Божьего дома.

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Так давайте же придем к Богу с искренним сердцем, в полноте веры, кроплением очистив сердца от дурной совести и омыв тела чистой водой.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Будем непоколебимо держаться исповедания нашей надежды, потому что тот, кто обещал нам, верен.

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Будем со вниманием относиться друг ко другу, побуждая друг друга к любви и добрым делам.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Не будем пренебрегать возможностью встречаться друг с другом, чем некоторые, к сожалению, пренебрегают. Будем ободрять друг друга, особенно видя, что День уже приближается.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Потому что если мы, узнав истину, сознательно продолжаем грешить, то грехи эти не искупит уже никакая жертва.

But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

В таком случае нам остается лишь со страхом ожидать суда и яростного огня, который пожрет Божьих врагов.

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Кто нарушал закон Моисея, того, на основании слов двух или трех свидетелей, безжалостно предавали смерти.

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Так насколько же более сурового наказания, как вам кажется, заслуживает тот, кто попирает ногами Божьего Сына, ставит ни во что кровь союза, которой был освящен, и оскорбляет Дух благодати?

For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Мы знаем того, кто сказал: "Месть принадлежит Мне, и Я отплачу", и еще: "Господь будет судить свой народ".

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Страшно оказаться в руках живого Бога!

But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

Вспомните прежние дни, когда, после того как вы были просвещены, вам пришлось переносить тяжелые страдания.

Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.

Временами вас выставляли на осмеяние и преследовали, а временами это приходилось переносить вашим сотоварищам.

For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

Вы проявляли сострадание к тем, кто находился в тюрьмах; вы даже радовались, когда ваше имущество разграбляли, потому что вы знали, что у вас есть имущество лучшее, вечное.

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

Не теряйте же твердости, за это вы будете щедро вознаграждены.

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Но для того, чтобы исполнить Божью волю и получить то, что Он обещал, необходимо терпение.

For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

Еще недолго, совсем недолго, и "тот, кто должен прийти, придет незамедлительно.

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Праведный Мой верой жив будет, но если он оставит то, во что верил, Я буду недоволен им".

But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Но мы не из тех, кто отступает и гибнет; нет, мы верим и получаем спасение!
