Чья вера не крепка, того принимайте, не споря о мнениях.

Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

Кто-то верит, что можно есть всё, а немощный вкушает только овощи.

For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

Ты ешь всё? Так не презирай того, кто не ест мясного. Не ешь мясного? Так не суди того, кто ест, ведь его принял Бог.

Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Кто ты такой, чтобы осуждать чужого раба? Это перед своим Господином он устоял или пал — а если пал, во власти Господа снова поднять его, и так Он и сделает.

Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Кто-то проводит различия между днями календаря, а кто-то обо всех днях судит одинаково. Пусть каждый решает по собственному разумению.

One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Кто выделяет особые дни, ради Господа их выделяет; кто ест мясное, ест пред Господом и благодарит Бога, и кто воздерживается от такой еды, воздерживается пред Господом и благодарит Бога.

He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

Никто из нас не живет сам по себе и никто сам по себе не умирает:

For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

если мы живем, то живем для Господа, и если умираем, умираем для Господа. Так что живем мы или умираем, мы — Господни.

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

Для того Христос умер и ожил, чтобы господствовать над мертвыми и живыми.

For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

Что же ты тогда судишь своего брата? Что же ты своего брата презираешь? Ведь все мы предстанем перед Божьим престолом,

But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

как написано: «Жив Я, говорит Господь, каждый преклонит предо Мной колено, каждый собственным языком принесет исповедание Богу».

For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Так что каждый из нас сам о себе даст отчет Богу.

So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Давайте прекратим судить друг друга! Рассудите лучше, как бы вам не поставить брату преграды или соблазна.

Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Я твердо знаю, и это убеждение — от Господа Иисуса: не существует пищи, нечистой изначально, она лишь считается нечистой, и только для того, кто так думает.

I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

Если твоя еда огорчает брата, ты уже поступаешь не по любви — не губи своей едой человека, за которого умер Христос!

But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

Что для вас добро, то пусть для других не станет поводом к ругани.

Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

Царство Божие — это не пища и не питье, но праведность, мир и радость в Духе Святом.

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

И кто так служит Христу, тот угоден Богу и в почете у людей.

For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

Так что будем стремиться к миру и ко взаимной помощи.

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Ради пищи не губи Божьего дела: вся она чиста, но плохо, когда твоя еда соблазняет другого.

For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.

Лучше уж не есть мяса, не пить вина и не делать ничего такого, что послужит к падению твоего брата.

It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

Есть у тебя вера? Пусть будет она при тебе и перед Богом. Блажен, кто не осуждает себя за свой выбор,

Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

а кто ест и при этом сомневается, уже осужден, потому что поступает не по вере. А всё, что не по вере — грех.

And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
