Мы, сильные, должны брать на себя немощи слабых и заботиться не о себе самих.

We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Каждый из вас пусть позаботится о ближнем ради его блага и наставления.

Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

Ведь и Христос заботился не о Себе, как написано: «они оскорбляли Тебя, и на меня пали эти оскорбления».

For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

И всё, что сказано в Писании, написано ради нашего наставления, чтобы мы, вдохновляясь написанным, надеялись и терпели.

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Терпение и вдохновение приходят от Бога, да дарует Он вам взаимное согласие в рассуждениях о Христе Иисусе,

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

чтобы вместе, едиными устами вы прославляли Бога — Отца Господа нашего Иисуса Христа.

That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Поэтому принимайте друг друга, ведь и Христос принял вас, приобщив Божьей славе.

Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

Вот о чем я говорю: Христос послужил израильскому народу ради Божьей истины, чтобы подтвердить обетования, данные его предкам,

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

и чтобы прочие народы могли славить Бога за Его милость, как и написано: «Потому принесу исповедание Тебе среди народов и имени Твоему воспою».

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

И еще говорится: «Возрадуйтесь, племена, вместе с народом Его».

And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

И еще: «Хвалите Господа, все племена, да восхвалят Его все народы».

And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

И еще говорит Исайя: «От корня Иессеева взойдет побег, он поднимется, чтобы править племенами, на него народы будут уповать».

And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

Надежда приходит от Бога, да наполнит Он вас мирной радостью в вашей вере, чтобы надежда ваша возрастала силой Святого Духа.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

И сам я уверен в вас, братья мои: вы причастны благу и обладаете всяким знанием, так что можете сами наставлять друг друга.

And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

А я писал Вам так прямо, чтобы немного вам об этом напомнить, ведь мне дана от Бога благодать

Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

— служить Христу Иисусу среди язычников. Как священник в храме, так я служу ради Божьего Евангелия, чтобы эти народы, освященные Духом Святым, принесли Богу угодный Ему дар.

That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

Иисус Христос дал мне, чем хвалиться — служение Богу.

I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.

Я решусь говорить лишь о том, что совершил через меня Христос словом и делом, чтобы привести к вере язычников,

For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,

силой знаков и чудес, силой Духа Божьего. От Иерусалима и даже до провинции Иллирик исполнялось Евангелие Христово,

Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

и я предпочитал проповедовать его не там, где уже возвещалось имя Христа, чтобы не заниматься строительством на чужом фундаменте.

Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:

Так ведь и было написано: «кому не возвещали о Нем — те увидят, кто не слышал — те узнают».

But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.

Потому я так долго и не мог к вам прибыть.

For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you.

Но теперь мне уже незачем задерживаться в этих краях, а я уже много лет очень хочу к вам прийти.

But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;

Когда я отправлюсь в Испанию, надеюсь по дороге повидать вас, а затем, когда мы хоть отчасти насытимся общением с вами, вы проводите меня дальше.

Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.

Теперь я отправляюсь в Иерусалим, чтобы послужить тамошней святой общине.

But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

Верующие Македонии и Ахайи приняли благое решение помочь беднякам Иерусалимской святой общины.

For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

Да, они приняли такое решение, но ведь они должники иерусалимлян: раз другие народы приобщились духовным дарам израильтян, то должны помочь им материально.

It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

Доставив это приношение в Иерусалим, я посещу вас и отправлюсь в Испанию.

When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.

И знаю, что приду к вам не иначе, как с изобильной Христовой благодатью.

And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

Призываю вас, братья, ради Господа нашего Иисуса Христа и ради любви духовной вместе со мной молиться Богу,

Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

чтобы неверующие не помешали мне в Иудее, чтобы мое служение в Иерусалиме было угодно святой общине

That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;

и чтобы мне с радостью прийти к вам и отдохнуть вместе с вами, если это угодно Богу.

That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.

Бог, дарующий людям мир, да будет со всеми вами. Аминь.

Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
