Иисус, исполненный Духа Святого и ведомый им, вернулся с берегов Иордана в пустыню

Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led around by the Spirit in the wilderness

и провёл там сорок дней, искушаемый дьяволом. Всё это время Он постился, и по окончании этих дней Он был очень голоден.

for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they had ended, He became hungry.

И сказал Ему дьявол: «Если Ты Сын Божий, то вели, чтобы этот камень превратился в хлеб».

And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.”

Иисус ответил: «В Писаниях говорится: „Не одним хлебом живёт человек”».

And Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE.’”

Тогда дьявол показал Иисусу в мгновение все царства земные

And he led Him up and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

и сказал Ему: «Я дарую Тебе все эти царства с их властью и славой, так как они отданы мне, и я могу даровать их кому пожелаю.

And the devil said to Him, “I will give You all this domain and its glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

Если станешь поклоняться мне, все это будет Твоё».

“Therefore if You worship before me, it shall all be Yours.”

И ответил ему Иисус: «В Писаниях сказано: „Поклоняться будешь только Господу, Богу твоему, и служить будешь только Ему”».

Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND SERVE HIM ONLY.’”

Тогда дьявол повёл Иисуса в Иерусалим, поставил Его на самой высокой башне храма и сказал Ему: «Если Ты Сын Божий, то прыгни отсюда вниз,

And he led Him to Jerusalem and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here;

потому что в Писаниях сказано: „Бог повелит Своим Ангелам охранять Тебя”.

for it is written, ‘HE WILL COMMAND HIS ANGELS CONCERNING YOU TO GUARD YOU,’

И ещё: „И на руках понесут Тебя, чтобы нога Твоя не коснулась камня”».

and, ‘ON their HANDS THEY WILL BEAR YOU UP, SO THAT YOU WILL NOT STRIKE YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE.’”

И ответил Иисус: «Но в Писаниях также сказано: „Не искушай Господа Бога твоего”».

And Jesus answered and said to him, “It is said, ‘YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST.’”

Тогда дьявол прекратил искушать Иисуса и ушёл прочь в ожидании более удобного случая.

When the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time.

Исполненный силы Святого Духа, Иисус возвратился в Галилею, и молва о Нём пошла по всей стране.

And Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through all the surrounding district.

И стал Он учить в синагогах, и все прославляли Его.

And He began teaching in their synagogues and was praised by all.

Иисус пришёл в Назарет, в город, где вырос. В субботний день Он пошёл, по Своему обыкновению, в синагогу и встал, чтобы читать Писания перед присутствующими.

And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read.

Ему дали книгу пророка Исаии, и, открыв книгу, Он нашёл место, где было написано:

And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And He opened the book and found the place where it was written,

«Дух Господний на мне, потому что он избрал меня, чтобы благовествовать нищим. Он послал меня объявить свободу пленным, возвратить зрение слепым, отпустить измученных на свободу,

“THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES, AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED,

и возвестить время милости Господней».

TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD.”

Потом Иисус закрыл книгу и отдал её служителю. Он сел, и глаза всех людей в синагоге были устремлены на Него.

And He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on Him.

Он начал говорить им: «Сегодня сказанное в Писаниях свершилось пред вами».

And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

Иисус снискал всеобщее одобрение, и все были поражены Его красноречием, и спрашивали: «Не Сын ли это Иосифа?»

And all were speaking well of Him, and wondering at the gracious words which were falling from His lips; and they were saying, “Is this not Joseph’s son?”

Он ответил: «Конечно, вы скажете Мне, как гласит пословица: „Врач, исцели самого себя”. Вы хотите сказать: „Мы слышали о том, что произошло в Капернауме. Сотвори же здесь, в Твоём родном городе, то же самое”».

And He said to them, “No doubt you will quote this proverb to Me, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we heard was done at Capernaum, do here in your hometown as well.’”

Он продолжил: «Воистину не принимают пророка в родном городе.

And He said, “Truly I say to you, no prophet is welcome in his hometown.

Правду вам говорю: множество вдов было в Израиле в дни Илии, когда не было дождя три с половиной года и страшный голод царил в стране.

“But I say to you in truth, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up for three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land;

И ни к кому из них не был послан Илия, кроме как к одной вдове из Сарепты, в Сидоне.

and yet Elijah was sent to none of them, but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.

И было множество прокажённых в Израиле во времена пророка Елисея, но никто из них не очистился от язв, кроме сирийца Неемана».

“And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.”

Все люди, присутствовавшие в синагоге и слышавшие эти слова, пришли в ярость.

And all the people in the synagogue were filled with rage as they heard these things;

Поднявшись, они изгнали Иисуса из города и привели на склон горы, на которой стоял их город, чтобы сбросить Его с утёса.

and they got up and drove Him out of the city, and led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city had been built, in order to throw Him down the cliff.

Но Иисус прошёл сквозь толпу и отправился Своей дорогой.

But passing through their midst, He went His way.

Иисус направился в Капернаум, город в Галилее, и в субботний день Он учил народ.

And He came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and He was teaching them on the Sabbath;

Все удивлялись Его учению, потому что Иисус говорил с властью.

and they were amazed at His teaching, for His message was with authority.

В синагоге находился человек, одержимый нечистым духом. Он громко закричал:

In the synagogue there was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,

«Иисус из Назарета! Чего Ты хочешь от нас? Зачем Ты явился сюда, чтобы погубить нас? Я знаю, кто Ты такой — Святой Божий!»

“Let us alone! What business do we have with each other, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are — the Holy One of God!”

Но Иисус велел нечистому духу замолчать. Иисус сказал: «Замолчи и выйди из этого человека!» И тогда нечистый дух поверг того человека наземь перед толпой и вышел из него, не причинив ему никакого вреда.

But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst of the people, he came out of him without doing him any harm.

Все видевшие это были потрясены случившимся и обсуждали это между собой: «Что это значит? Он разговаривает с нечистыми духами, приказывает им Своей властью, и они выходят».

And amazement came upon them all, and they began talking with one another saying, “What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits and they come out.”

И весть об Иисусе распространилась по всей округе.

And the report about Him was spreading into every locality in the surrounding district.

Иисус покинул синагогу и отправился в дом к Симону. Тёща Симона лежала в горячке, и Его попросили помочь ей.

Then He got up and left the synagogue, and entered Simon’s home. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Him to help her.

Стоя над ней, Иисус приказал, и горячка покинула её тело, и женщина тут же поднялась и стала им прислуживать.

And standing over her, He rebuked the fever, and it left her; and she immediately got up and waited on them.

К заходу солнца люди привели или принесли к Иисусу страдающих различными болезнями, и, возложив на них руки, Он исцелил их.

While the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and laying His hands on each one of them, He was healing them.

Из многих больных вышли бесы, восклицая: «Ты — Сын Божий!» Но Он запрещал им говорить, потому что они знали, что Он — Христос.

Demons also were coming out of many, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But rebuking them, He would not allow them to speak, because they knew Him to be the Christ.

С наступлением дня Иисус удалился в уединённое место, но множество народа искало Его. Когда люди нашли Иисуса, то попытались воспрепятствовать Его уходу.

When day came, Jesus left and went to a secluded place; and the crowds were searching for Him, and came to Him and tried to keep Him from going away from them.

Но Иисус сказал им: «Я должен нести Благую Весть о Царстве Божьем и в другие города, потому что Я был послан именно для этого».

But He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.”

Иисус продолжал проповедовать в синагогах Иудеи.

So He kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.
