— Небесное Царство подобно хозяину, который рано утром вышел нанять людей на работу в своем винограднике.

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.

Он договорился с ними, что заплатит им по динарию за день работы, и послал их в свой виноградник.

Now when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

В девять часов утра он опять вышел и увидел, что на площади еще стоят люди без работы.

And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,

Он говорит им: "Идите и вы работать в мой виноградник, и я заплачу вам по справедливости".

and said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went.

Те пошли. В полдень и в три часа дня он опять выходил и делал то же самое.

Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise.

Потом он вышел в пять часов и вновь нашел на площади стоящих людей. "Что вы тут стоите весь день без дела?" — спросил он их.

And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing [a]idle, and said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day?’

"Никто нас не нанял", — ответили те. "Идите и вы работать в мой виноградник", — говорит им хозяин.

They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, [b]and whatever is right you will receive.’

Когда наступил вечер, хозяин сказал своему управляющему: "Позови всех работников и выдай им плату. Начни с тех, которые были наняты последними, и в конце рассчитайся с теми, кто нанят утром".

“So when evening had come, the owner of the vineyard said to his steward, ‘Call the laborers and give them their wages, beginning with the last to the first.’

Работники, которых наняли в шестом часу, пришли, и каждый из них получил по динарию.

And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a denarius.

Когда подошла очередь работников, нанятых первыми, они ожидали, что получат больше, но каждый из них тоже получил по динарию.

But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise received each a denarius.

Когда с ними расплатились, они стали возмущаться:

And when they had received it, they [c]complained against the landowner,

"Те, кого ты нанял последними, работали всего один час, и ты заплатил им столько же, сколько и нам, а мы трудились в такую жару весь день!"

saying, ‘These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’

Хозяин ответил одному из них: "Друг, я же не обманываю тебя. Разве ты не согласился работать за один динарий?

But he answered one of them and said, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius?

Так возьми свою плату и иди. А я хочу заплатить тем, кого я нанял последними, столько же, сколько и тебе.

Take what is yours and go your way. I wish to give to this last man the same as to you.

Не вправе ли я распоряжаться своими деньгами так, как хочу? Или, может, моя щедрость вызывает в тебе зависть?"

Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’

Так вот, последние будут первыми, и первые — последними.

So the last will be first, and the first last. For[d] many are called, but few chosen.”

По дороге в Иерусалим Иисус отвел двенадцать учеников в сторону и сказал им:

Now Jesus, going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them,

— Скоро мы придем в Иерусалим. Там Сын Человеческий будет предан первосвященникам и учителям закона; Его осудят на смерть

“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death,

и отдадут язычникам на унижение, побои и распятие. Но на третий день Он воскреснет.

and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.”

Тогда к Иисусу подошла мать сыновей Зеведея вместе с сыновьями. Кланяясь, она обратилась к Нему с просьбой.

Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Him with her sons, kneeling down and asking something from Him.

— Что ты хочешь? — спросил Иисус. Она сказала: — Позволь одному из этих двух моих сыновей сесть от Тебя по правую руку, а другому по левую в Твоем Царстве.

And He said to her, “What do you wish?” She said to Him, “Grant that these two sons of mine may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on the left, in Your kingdom.”

— Вы не знаете, о чем просите, — ответил Иисус. — Можете ли вы пить ту чашу, которую Я буду пить? — Можем, — ответили братья.

But Jesus answered and said, “You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, [e]and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to Him, “We are able.”

Иисус говорит им: — Что же, пить из Моей чаши вы действительно будете, а кому сидеть по правую и кому по левую руку от Меня, решаю не Я, эти места принадлежат тем, кому они назначены Моим Отцом.

So He said to them, “You will indeed drink My cup, [f]and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; but to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it is prepared by My Father.”

Когда остальные десять учеников услышали это, они рассердились на братьев.

And when the ten heard it, they were greatly displeased with the two brothers.

Иисус же подозвал их и сказал: — Вы знаете, что правители народов господствуют над ними, и их знать ими владеет,

But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them.

но среди вас пусть этого не будет. Наоборот, кто хочет стать самым великим, тот должен быть слугой остальным,

Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.

и кто хочет стать первым, должен быть вам слугой.

And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave —

Ведь и Сын Человеческий не для того пришел, чтобы Ему служили, но чтобы послужить другим и отдать свою жизнь ради искупления многих.

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Когда Иисус и ученики покидали Иерихон, за ними шло множество людей.

Now as they went out of Jericho, a great multitude followed Him.

У дороги сидели двое слепых, которые, услышав, что мимо идет Иисус, стали кричать: — Господь, Сын Давида, помилуй нас!

And behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”

Люди стали говорить им, чтобы они замолчали, но те продолжали кричать еще громче: — Господь, Сын Давида, помилуй нас!

Then the multitude warned them that they should be quiet; but they cried out all the more, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”

Иисус остановился и позвал их. — Что вы хотите, чтобы Я сделал для вас? — спросил Он.

So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

— Господи, хотим видеть, — ответили те.

They said to Him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.”

Иисусу стало их жаль, и Он прикоснулся к их глазам. К слепым сразу же вернулось зрение, и они пошли за Ним.

So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.
