И сказал им: уверяю вас, что некоторые из стоящих здесь со Мною ещё при жизни своей увидят Царство Божье, пришедшее в силе.

And He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God [a]present with power.”

И вот через шесть дней, взяв с Собою только Петра, Иакова и Иоанна, Иисус поднялся наедине с ними на высокую гору и преобразился пред ними.

Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them.

Одежды Его вдруг ярко засияли, словно снег, и стали такими белыми, как никакой человек на земле не в силах отбелить.

His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.

И увидели они Илию с Моисеем, беседующих с Иисусом.

And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.

Петр же, обратясь к Иисусу, сказал: Равви! Как хорошо нам здесь! (Позволь), мы поставим здесь три шалаша: один для Тебя, другой — для Моисея, а третий — для Илии,

Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah” —

ибо не знал, что и сказать, из-за страха, объявшего его.

because he did not know what to say, for they were greatly afraid.

Вдруг появилось облако и покрыло их, и раздался голос из облака: это Сын Мой возлюбленный, Его слушайте!

And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”

Оглянувшись, они неожиданно увидели, что рядом с ними никого уже нет, кроме одного Иисуса.

Suddenly, when they had looked around, they saw no one anymore, but only Jesus with themselves.

И когда они спускались с горы, Он повелел им, чтобы они до тех пор никому не рассказывали о том, что видели, пока Сын Человеческий не воскреснет из мертвых.

Now as they came down from the mountain, He commanded them that they should tell no one the things they had seen, till the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

Они же спрашивали друг у друга: что это значит — воскреснуть из мертвых? И запомнили слова Его.

So they kept this word to themselves, questioning what the rising from the dead meant.

А у Него они спросили: почему же книжники и фарисеи говорят, что прежде должен придти Илия?

And they asked Him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”

И Он отвечал им: если они говорят, что Илия придет прежде и обратит всех, то разве не написано о Сыне Человеческом, что Он претерпит много страданий и унижений?

Then He answered and told them, “Indeed, Elijah is coming first and restores all things. And how is it written concerning the Son of Man, that He must suffer many things and be treated with contempt?

Но говорю вам: Илия уже приходил, и они обошлись с ним так, как сочли нужным, подобно тому, что написано о нём.1

But I say to you that Elijah has also come, and they did to him whatever they wished, as it is written of him.”

Когда же возвратился Он к ученикам, то увидел около них большую толпу и книжников, которые спорили с ними.

And when He came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them.

А все люди, едва только увидели Его, побежали навстречу, радостно приветствуя Его.

Immediately, when they saw Him, all the people were greatly amazed, and running to Him, greeted Him.

И спрашивает Он у книжников: о чём вы спорите с ними?

And He asked the scribes, “What are you discussing with them?”

А один человек из толпы отвечает Ему: Учитель! Привел я к Тебе сына своего, одержимого духом нечистым.

Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit.

Где бы дух ни застиг его, повергает его на землю, и он испускает пену, скрежещет зубами и цепенеет. И обратился я к ученикам Твоим, чтобы они изгнали его, но они не смогли изгнать его.

And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.”

Он же сказал им в ответ: о народ, неверующий и развращенный! До каких пор Я буду с вами? До каких пор Мне терпеть вас? Приведите его ко Мне! (Втор 32:5,20)

He answered him and said, “O faithless[b] generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I [c]bear with you? Bring him to Me.”

И привели его к Нему. Едва увидев Иисуса, дух так сотряс одержимого, что тот упал и стал кататься по земле, испуская пену.

Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth.

И спросил Он у отца его: давно ли это с ним? И тот ответил: с детства.

So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood.

Уж сколько раз дух бросал его то в огонь, то в воду, чтобы погубить его. Но если Ты можешь хоть сколько-нибудь помочь нам, Господи, то сжалься над нами!

And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

Иисус же сказал ему: если ты можешь хоть сколько-нибудь верить, то всё возможно верующему.

Jesus said to him, “If[d] you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

И тотчас отец этого отрока воскликнул со слезами: верую! Помоги же моему маловерию!

Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Увидев, что сбегается народ, Иисус повелел духу нечистому: дух немой и глухой! Я повелеваю тебе: выйди из него и впредь не возвращайся в него!

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”

Возопив и сильно сотрясши одержимого, дух вышел, а отрок застыл, словно мертвый, так что многие говорили: он умер.

Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.”

Но Иисус, взяв его за руку, привел его в чувство, и он поднялся.

But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.

А когда Он вошел в дом, ученики наедине спросили Его: почему мы не в силах были изгнать его?

And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”

Он же сказал им: сей род ничем иным не может быть изгнан, кроме как молитвою и постом.

So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer [e]and fasting.”

Выйдя оттуда, они отправились в Галилею, но Он не хотел, чтобы кто-нибудь узнал об этом,

Then they departed from there and passed through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know it.

потому что Он, наставляя учеников Своих, говорил им: Сын Человеческий предан будет в руки человеческие, и казнят Его, и через три дня после казни Он воскреснет.

For He taught His disciples and said to them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day.”

Но они не понимали сказанного, а спросить Его — боялись.

But they did not understand this saying, and were afraid to ask Him.

Когда они пришли в Капернаум, то дома Он спросил у них: что это вы обсуждали в пути между собою?

Then He came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house He asked them, “What was it you [f]disputed among yourselves on the road?”

Но они молчали, потому что в пути спорили друг с другом о том, кто из них самый главный.

But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the greatest.

И, сев, Он подозвал всех двенадцать и говорит им: если кто из вас хочет быть первым, пусть будет последним и слугою всем.

And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”

И, взяв ребенка, Он поставил его посреди них и, обняв его, сказал им:

Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them,

кто примет (в сердце) хотя бы одного из таких младенцев во имя Моё, тот Меня примет, а кто Меня принял, тот не Меня принял, но Того, Кто послал Меня.

“Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.”

При этом Иоанн сказал Ему: Учитель! Мы встретили человека, который именем Твоим изгоняет бесов, и запретили ему это, потому что он не ходит вместе с нами.

Now John answered Him, saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.”

А Иисус сказал: не надо запрещать ему, потому что любой, кто сотворит чудо именем Моим, не сможет уже клеветать на Меня,

But Jesus said, “Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me.

ибо кто не против нас, тот за нас.

For he who is not against [g]us is on [h]our side.

И кто напоит вас хотя бы чашею воды во имя Моё, потому что вы — Христовы, уверяю вас: тот не лишится награды своей.

For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.

А кто введет в соблазн хотя бы одного из тех немногих, кто верует в Меня, то для него было бы значительно лучше, если бы ему повесили мельничный жернов на шею и бросили в море.

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me [i]to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.

И если соблазнит тебя рука твоя, то отруби её; лучше тебе увечному войти в Жизнь, нежели с двумя руками быть ввергнутым в геенну, в огонь неугасимый,

If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life [j]maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to [k]hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched —

где червь их не умирает и огонь их не угасает. (Ис 66:24)

[l]where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’

И если нога твоя соблазнит тебя, то отруби её; лучше тебе хромым войти в Жизнь Вечную, нежели с двумя ногами быть брошенным в геенну, в огонь неугасимый,

And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into [m]hell, [n]into the fire that shall never be quenched —

где червь их не умирает и огонь их не угасает.

where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’

И если глаз твой соблазнит тебя, то вырви его; лучше тебе одноглазому войти в Царство Божье, нежели с двумя глазами быть брошенным в геенну огненную,

And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into [o]hell fire —

где червь их не умирает и огонь их не угасает,

where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’

ибо каждый огнем очищается. Каждая жертва солится солью. (Лев 2:13)

“For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and[p] every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.

Соль — хорошая вещь; но если соль станет несоленой, на что она сгодится? Сохраняйте же соль в себе и мир между собою.

Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.”
