По этой причине я, Павел, узник Христа Иисуса ради вас, язычников…

For this reason I Paul, prisoner of the Christ Jesus for you nations,

Если, конечно, вы слышали об ответственности за благодать Божью, данную мне для вас,

(if indeed ye have heard of the administration of the grace of God which has been given to me towards you,

а именно, что чрез откровение мне дано было узнать тайну, как я выше писал вкратце,

that by revelation the mystery has been made known to me, (according as I have written before briefly,

в связи с чем, читая, вы можете представить мое понимание тайны Христа,

by which, in reading it, ye can understand my intelligence in the mystery of the Christ,)

которую в прежних поколениях не дано было узнать людям так, как теперь она открыта Духом святым апостолам Его и пророкам,

which in other generations has not been made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in [the power of the] Spirit,

а именно, что язычники являются сонаследниками и составляющими одного тела и сопричастниками обещания во Христе Иисусе чрез благую весть,

that [they who are of] the nations should be joint heirs, and a joint body, and joint partakers of [his] promise in Christ Jesus by the glad tidings;

которой я стал служителем по дару благодати Божией, данной мне по действию Его силы.

of which I am become minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me, according to the working of his power.

Мне, меньшему чем наименьший из всех святых, дана была эта благодать — возвестить язычникам благую весть о непостижимом богатстве Христа

To me, less than the least of all saints, has this grace been given, to announce among the nations the glad tidings of the unsearchable riches of the Christ,

и просветить всех, в чём состоит замысел, связанный с тайной, скрытой от вечности в Боге, сотворившем всё,

and to enlighten all [with the knowledge of] what is the administration of the mystery hidden throughout the ages in God, who has created all things,

чтобы теперь дано было узнать чрез Церковь началам и властям в небесных сферах многообразную мудрость Бога,

in order that now to the principalities and authorities in the heavenlies might be made known through the assembly the all-various wisdom of God,

по извечному плану, который Он исполнил во Христе Иисусе, Господе нашем,

according to [the] purpose of the ages, which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord,

в Котором мы можем смело и уверенно приходить к Богу чрез веру в Него.

in whom we have boldness and access in confidence by the faith of him.

Поэтому прошу не унывать из-за моих скорбей ради вас, которые являются вашей славой.

Wherefore I beseech [you] not to faint through my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

По этой причине преклоняю колени мои пред Отцом,

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father [of our Lord Jesus Christ],

от Которого всякий род на небесах и на земле получает имя,

of whom every family in [the] heavens and on earth is named,

чтобы Он дал вам по богатству Своей славы стать весьма крепкими во внутреннем человеке посредством Его Духа

in order that he may give you according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power by his Spirit in the inner man;

так, чтобы обитал Христос чрез веру в сердцах ваших, чтобы, укорененные и утвержденные в любви,

that the Christ may dwell, through faith, in your hearts, being rooted and founded in love,

вы могли понять со всеми святыми, что такое широта, и длина, и высота, и глубина,

in order that ye may be fully able to apprehend with all the saints what [is] the breadth and length and depth and height;

и познать превышающую познание любовь Христа, чтобы вы были наполнены для достижения всей полноты Божьей.

and to know the love of the Christ which surpasses knowledge; that ye may be filled [even] to all the fulness of God.

Могущему же сделать неизмеримо больше всего, о чём мы просим или помышляем, по Его силе, действующей в нас,

But to him that is able to do far exceedingly above all which we ask or think, according to the power which works in us,

Ему слава в Церкви и во Христе Иисусе во всех поколеньях во веки веков! Аминь.

to him be glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus unto all generations of the age of ages. Amen).
