And it came to pass in Iconium that they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake that a great multitude of both Jews and Greeks believed.

Бысть же во иконии, вкупе внити има в сонмище иудейское и глаголати тако, яко веровати иудеев и еллинов множеству многу.

But the Jews who did not believe stirred up the minds of [those of] the nations and made [them] evil-affected against the brethren.

Неверующии же иудее воздвигоша и озлобиша душы языков на братию.

They stayed therefore a good while, speaking boldly, [confiding] in the Lord, who gave witness to the word of his grace, giving signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

Доволно же убо время пребыста дерзающа о Господе, свидетелствующем слову благодати своея и дающем знамения и чудеса быти рукама их.

And the multitude of the city was divided, and some were with the Jews and some with the apostles.

Разделишажеся множество града, и ови убо бяху со иудеи, ови же со апостолы.

And when an assault was making, both of [those of] the nations and [the] Jews with their rulers, to use [them] ill and stone them,

И егда бысть стремление языком же и иудеем с началники их досадити и камением побити их,

they, being aware of it, fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and the surrounding country,

уведевша же прибегоста во грады ликаонския, в листру и дервию, и во окрестныя их,

and there they were announcing the glad tidings.

и тамо беста благовествующа.

And a certain man in Lystra, impotent in his feet, sat, [being] lame from his mother's womb, who had never walked.

И некто муж в листрех немощен ногама седяше, хром от чрева матере своея сый, иже николиже бе ходил.

This [man] heard Paul speaking, who, fixing his eyes on him, and seeing that he had faith to be healed,

Сей слышаше павла глаголюща: иже воззрев нань и видев, яко веру имать здрав быти,

said with a loud voice, Rise up straight upon thy feet: and he sprang up and walked.

рече велиим гласом: тебе глаголю во имя Господа Иисуса Христа, встани на ногу твоею прав. И абие возскочи и хождаше.

But the crowds, who saw what Paul had done, lifted up their voices in Lycaonian, saying, The gods, having made themselves like men, are come down to us.

Народи же видевше, еже сотвори павел, воздвигоша глас свой, ликаонски глаголюще: бози уподобльшеся человеком снидоша к нам.

And they called Barnabas Jupiter, and Paul Mercury, because he took the lead in speaking.

Нарицаху же убо варнаву диа, павла же ермиа, понеже той бяше началник слова.

And the priest of Jupiter who was before the city, having brought bulls and garlands to the gates, would have done sacrifice along with the crowds.

Жрец же диев, сущаго пред градом их, приведе юнцы и (принесе) венцы пред врата, с народы хотяше жрети.

But the apostles Barnabas and Paul, having heard [it], rent their garments, and rushed out to the crowd, crying

Слышавша же апостола варнава и павел, растерзавша ризы своя, вскочиста в народ, зовуща и глаголюща:

and saying, Men, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, preaching to you to turn from these vanities to the living God, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all things in them;

мужие, что сия творите? и мы подобострастна есма вам человека, благовествующа вам от сих суетных обращатися к Богу живу, иже сотвори небо и землю и море и вся, яже в них:

who in the past generations suffered all the nations to go in their own ways,

иже в мимошедшыя роды оставил бе вся языки ходити в путех их:

though indeed he did not leave himself without witness, doing good, and giving to you from heaven rain and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.

и убо не несвидетелствована себе остави, благотворя, с небесе нам дожди дая и времена плодоносна, исполняя пищею и веселием сердца наша.

And saying these things, they with difficulty kept the crowds from sacrificing to them.

И сия глаголюща, едва устависта народы не жрети има, но отити коемуждо во своя си. Пребывающема же има и учащема,

But there came Jews from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the crowds and stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing him to have died.

приидоша от антиохии и иконии нецыи иудее, и стязающемася има с дерзновением, наустиша народы отступити от нею, глаголюще, яко ничтоже истинно глаголета, но все лжета. И наустивше народы и камением побивше павла, извлекоша вне града, мняще его умерша.

But while the disciples encircled him, he rose up and entered into the city. And on the morrow he went away with Barnabas to Derbe.

Окрест же ставшым его учеником, востав вниде во град и наутрие изыде с варнавою в дервию.

And having announced the glad tidings to that city, and having made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, and Iconium, and Antioch,

Благовествовавша же граду тому и научивша многи, возвратистася в листру и иконию и антиохию,

establishing the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to abide in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God.

утверждающа душы учеников, моляща пребыти в вере, и яко многими скорбьми подобает нам внити в Царствие Божие.

And having chosen them elders in each assembly, having prayed with fastings, they committed them to the Lord, on whom they had believed.

Рукоположша же им пресвитеры на вся Церкви и помолившася с постом, предаста их Господеви, в негоже увероваша.

And having passed through Pisidia they came to Pamphylia,

И прошедша писидию, приидоста в памфилию:

and having spoken the word in Perga, they came down to Attalia;

и глаголавша в пергии слово Господне, снидоста во атталию

and thence they sailed away to Antioch, whence they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they had fulfilled.

и оттуду отплыста во антиохию, отнюдуже беста предана благодати Божией в дело, еже скончаста.

And having arrived, and having brought together the assembly, they related to them all that God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the nations.

Пришедша же и собравша Церковь, сказаста, елика сотвори Бог с нима и яко отверзе языком дверь веры:

And they stayed no little time with the disciples.

пребыста же тамо время не мало со ученики.
