Господь воззвал к Моисею в шатре собрания, в Синайской пустыне, в первый день второго месяца, на второй год после исхода израильского народа из Египта. Он сказал:

The Lord spoke to Moses in the tent of meeting in the Desert of Sinai on the first day of the second month of the second year after the Israelites came out of Egypt. He said:

«Ты и Аарон должны пересчитать весь народ Израиля и указать имя каждого мужчины вместе с его семейством и родом.

“Take a census of the whole Israelite community by their clans and families, listing every man by name, one by one.

Сосчитайте всех израильских мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в израильской армии, и укажите их подразделение.

You and Aaron are to count according to their divisions all the men in Israel who are twenty years old or more and able to serve in the army.

От каждого колена будет избрано по одному человеку, возглавляющему этот род.

One man from each tribe, each of them the head of his family, is to help you.

Вот имена тех, кто будет с вами: от рода Рувима — Елицур, сын Шедеура;

These are the names of the men who are to assist you: from Reuben, Elizur son of Shedeur;

от рода Симеона — Шелумиил, сын Цуришаддая;

from Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;

от рода Иуды — Наассон, сын Аминадава;

from Judah, Nahshon son of Amminadab;

от рода Иссахара — Нафанаил, сын Цуара;

from Issachar, Nethanel son of Zuar;

от рода Завулона — Елиав, сын Хелона;

from Zebulun, Eliab son of Helon;

от потомков Иосифа: от рода Ефрема — Елишама, сын Аммиуда; от рода Манассии — Гамалиил, сын Педацура;

from the sons of Joseph: from Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud; from Manasseh, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur;

от рода Вениамина — Авидан, сын Гидеония;

from Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni;

от рода Дана — Ахиезер, сын Аммишаддая;

from Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;

от рода Асира — Пагиил, сын Охрана;

from Asher, Pagiel son of Okran;

от рода Гада — Елиасаф, сын Дегуила;

from Gad, Eliasaph son of Deuel;

от рода Неффалима — Ахира, сын Енана».

from Naphtali, Ahira son of Enan.”

Каждый из этих людей был избран народом главенствовать в своём роду и племени.

These were the men appointed from the community, the leaders of their ancestral tribes. They were the heads of the clans of Israel.

Моисей и Аарон собрали всех предводителей,

Moses and Aaron took these men whose names had been specified,

а также созвали весь народ и перечислили всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше по их коленам и родам.

and they called the whole community together on the first day of the second month. The people registered their ancestry by their clans and families, and the men twenty years old or more were listed by name, one by one,

Моисей сделал всё, как повелел Господь: пересчитал народ, который находился в Синайской пустыне.

as the Lord commanded Moses. And so he counted them in the Desert of Sinai:

Пересчитали членов рода Рувима, первенца Израиля, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их коленам и родам.

From the descendants of Reuben the firstborn son of Israel: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, one by one, according to the records of their clans and families.

Всего мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Рувима, было 46 500.

The number from the tribe of Reuben was 46,500.

Пересчитали членов рода Симеона, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их семействам и родам.

From the descendants of Simeon: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, one by one, according to the records of their clans and families.

Всего мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Симеона, было 59 300.

The number from the tribe of Simeon was 59,300.

Пересчитали членов рода Гада, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их семействам и родам.

From the descendants of Gad: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to the records of their clans and families.

Общее число мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Гада, было 45 650.

The number from the tribe of Gad was 45,650.

Пересчитали членов рода Иуды, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их семействам и родам.

From the descendants of Judah: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to the records of their clans and families.

Всего мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Иуды, было 74 600.

The number from the tribe of Judah was 74,600.

Пересчитали членов рода Иссахара, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их семействам и родам.

From the descendants of Issachar: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to the records of their clans and families.

Всего мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Иссахара, было 54 400.

The number from the tribe of Issachar was 54,400.

Пересчитали членов рода Завулона, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их семействам и родам.

From the descendants of Zebulun: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to the records of their clans and families.

Всего мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Завулона, было 57 400.

The number from the tribe of Zebulun was 57,400.

Пересчитали членов рода Ефрема, сына Иосифа, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их коленам и семействам.

From the sons of Joseph: From the descendants of Ephraim: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to the records of their clans and families.

Всего мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Ефрема, было 40 500.

The number from the tribe of Ephraim was 40,500.

Пересчитали членов рода другого сына Иосифа, Манассии, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их коленам и семействам.

From the descendants of Manasseh: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to the records of their clans and families.

Всего мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Манассии, было 32 200.

The number from the tribe of Manasseh was 32,200.

Пересчитали членов рода Вениамина, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их коленам и семействам.

From the descendants of Benjamin: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to the records of their clans and families.

Всего мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Вениамина, было 35 400.

The number from the tribe of Benjamin was 35,400.

Пересчитали членов рода Дана, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их коленам и семействам.

From the descendants of Dan: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to the records of their clans and families.

Всего мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Дана, было 62 700.

The number from the tribe of Dan was 62,700.

Пересчитали членов рода Асира, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их коленам и семействам.

From the descendants of Asher: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to the records of their clans and families.

Всего мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Асира, было 41 500.

The number from the tribe of Asher was 41,500.

Пересчитали членов рода Неффалима, указав имена всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии, по их коленам и семействам.

From the descendants of Naphtali: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to the records of their clans and families.

Всего мужчин, сосчитанных в роду Неффалима, было 53 400.

The number from the tribe of Naphtali was 53,400.

Моисей, Аарон и двенадцать предводителей Израиля, по одному от каждого рода, пересчитали

These were the men counted by Moses and Aaron and the twelve leaders of Israel, each one representing his family.

всех мужчин от 20 лет и старше, способных служить в армии. Каждый из них был указан по его роду.

All the Israelites twenty years old or more who were able to serve in Israel’s army were counted according to their families.

Общее число сосчитанных мужчин составляло 603 550.

The total number was 603,550.

Семьи из рода Левия не были сосчитаны вместе с остальным народом.

The ancestral tribe of the Levites, however, was not counted along with the others.

Господь сказал Моисею:

The Lord had said to Moses:

«Не пересчитывай мужчин из рода Левия и не включай их в число остального израильского народа.

“You must not count the tribe of Levi or include them in the census of the other Israelites.

Скажи левитам, что им поручен шатёр Соглашения. Пусть они отвечают за шатёр и за всё, что в нём. Пусть несут священный шатёр и всё, что в нём, и пусть ставят свой стан рядом и отвечают за него.

Instead, appoint the Levites to be in charge of the tabernacle of the covenant law — over all its furnishings and everything belonging to it. They are to carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; they are to take care of it and encamp around it.

Когда нужно будет переносить или ставить священный шатёр, то пусть только левиты делают это; они будут отвечать за священный шатёр. Если же кто-нибудь не из левитов попытается служить при шатре, убейте его.

Whenever the tabernacle is to move, the Levites are to take it down, and whenever the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall do it. Anyone else who approaches it is to be put to death.

Пусть израильский народ ставит свои станы ополчениями, каждый пусть ставит стан около своего семейного флага.

The Israelites are to set up their tents by divisions, each of them in their own camp under their standard.

Левиты же пусть ставят свой стан у шатра Соглашения, охраняя его, чтобы с народом не приключилось беды».

The Levites, however, are to set up their tents around the tabernacle of the covenant law so that my wrath will not fall on the Israelite community. The Levites are to be responsible for the care of the tabernacle of the covenant law.”

И израильский народ исполнил всё, что Господь повелел Моисею.

The Israelites did all this just as the Lord commanded Moses.
