Однажды собрались у Него фарисеи и книжники, которые пришли из Иерусалима.

Then the Pharisees and some of the scribes came together to Him, having come from Jerusalem.

Они увидели, как Его ученики едят неосвященными, то есть неомытыми, руками.

Now [a]when they saw some of His disciples eat bread with defiled, that is, with unwashed hands, [b]they found fault.

Дело в том, что фарисеи и все евреи не приступают к еде, если не омоют рук особым образом, соблюдая предание отцов.

For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands [c]in a special way, holding the tradition of the elders.

И, придя с рынка, не приступают к еде, пока не омоются водой. Есть ещё и многое другое, что они приняли и соблюдают: омовение чаш, кувшинов и медных сосудов.

When they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other things which they have received and hold, like the washing of cups, pitchers, copper vessels, and couches.

Фарисеи и книжники спросили Его: — Почему Твои ученики не поступают по преданию отцов и едят неосвященными руками?

Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, “Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?”

А Он сказал им: — Правильно пророчествовал о вас, лицемерах, Исайя в Писании: «Этот народ почитает Меня на словах, а их помыслы далеки от Меня.

He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.

Они поклоняются Мне напрасно, так как учат человеческим заповедям».

And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

Оставив заповедь Бога, вы соблюдаете человеческое предание.

For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men — [d]the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”

И затем Он объяснил им: — Как ловко вы упраздняете заповедь Бога, чтобы утвердить своё предание!

He said to them, “All too well you [e]reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.

Ведь Моисей сказал: «Чти отца и мать!» и «Тот, кто оскорбляет отца или мать, достоин смерти!»

For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’

А вы говорите: если человек скажет отцу или матери: «То, что ты мог бы получить от меня, — это корбан (то есть дар Богу)», —

But you say, ‘If a man says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban” — ’ (that is, a gift to God),

и вы уже позволяете ему ничего не делать для отца или матери.

then you no longer let him do anything for his father or his mother,

Так вы отменяете Божье слово вашим преданием, которое передаете другим. И ещё много подобного вы делаете.

making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

И, снова призвав к себе толпу, Он сказал: — Послушайте меня все и поймите!

When He had called all the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear Me, everyone, and understand:

Ничто входящее в человека извне не может осквернить его; оскверняет человека то, что из него выходит!

There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man.

If[f] anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”

Когда Он оставил толпу и вошел в дом, ученики спросили Его об этой притче.

When He had entered a house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable.

Он сказал им: — Вы тоже не понимаете? Неужели вам непонятно, что ничто входящее в человека извне не может осквернить его?

So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him,

Ибо оно входит ему не в сердце, а в желудок и выходит в отхожее место! (Так Он объявил чистыми все виды пищи)

because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, [g]thus purifying all foods?”

Затем Он сказал: — То, что выходит из человека, — вот что делает его нечистым.

And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man.

Ибо изнутри, из человеческого сердца, выходят дурные намерения, разврат, воровство, убийство,

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

посягательство на чужую жену, своекорыстие, злоба, коварство, невоздержанность, зависть, злословие, заносчивость, безрассудство.

thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.

Все эти пороки выходят изнутри и оскверняют человека.

All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

Оттуда Он отправился в область Тира. Остановившись в одном доме, Он хотел, чтобы никто о Нём не узнал, но не сумел остаться незамеченным.

From there He arose and went to the region of Tyre [h]and Sidon. And He entered a house and wanted no one to know it, but He could not be hidden.

О Нём тотчас услышала женщина, дочь которой была одержима нечистым духом. Придя к Иисусу, женщина пала Ему в ноги.

For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him, and she came and fell at His feet.

А женщина эта была язычница, родом сирофиникиянка. Она просила его изгнать демона из дочери.

The woman was a [i]Greek, a [j]Syro-Phoenician by birth, and she kept [k]asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter.

А Иисус сказал ей: — Пусть вначале наедятся дети. Нехорошо отнять хлеб у детей и бросить щенкам.

But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”

Она ответила: — Господин, даже щенки под столом едят крошки, которые остаются от детей.

And she answered and said to Him, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children’s crumbs.”

Он сказал ей: — За эти слова ступай домой, демон вышел из твоей дочери.

Then He said to her, “For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter.”

Придя домой, женщина увидела, что её дочь лежит на постели. Демон из неё вышел.

And when she had come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed.

Покинув область Тира, Он через Сидон снова вышел к Галилейскому морю со стороны Десятиградья.

Again, departing from the region of Tyre and Sidon, He came through the midst of the region of Decapolis to the Sea of Galilee.

К Нему привели глухого и косноязычного и стали умолять Его, чтобы Он возложил на него руки.

Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him.

A Иисус, отведя его в сторону подальше от толпы, вложил ему пальцы в уши и плюнул на язык.

And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue.

Затем поднял глаза к небу, застонал и сказал: — Этпетах! то есть «откройся!».

Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”

Уши глухого тотчас открылись, язык освободился от оков, и он стал говорить ясно.

Immediately his ears were opened, and the [l]impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly.

Иисус запретил людям рассказывать об этом. Но чем строже Он запрещал, тем больше они рассказывали о случившемся.

Then He commanded them that they should tell no one; but the more He commanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it.

И все чрезвычайно поражались и говорили: «Как хорошо Он всё делает: и глухие у Него начинают слышать, и немые — говорить!»

And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”
